I'm bored and I just got my Ipod nano a few days ago. I already got 118, i want more tho lol.
Anyways do anyone of you know some songs i might like.
I like pop,
a bit of rap and Hip Hop,
i also like heavey metal, rock.
I would like some slow songs and some songs that I can just go crazy and dance.
(do not put Lady GaGa or Britneay spears, tired of there songs repeating on the tv)

I cant talk to my mom about anything, I cant even talk to her about my period because I dont fell comfortable. She was like the perfect child when she was growing up, she never wore a thong or make up, she always goes to church and has never swore, so I dont feel comfortable asking her. I couldnt ask my dad either because he just doesnt understand, I get really embaressed when ppl can see my underwear line so will you please help me and give me some pointers on how to ask her and how to get a conversation going.

I know things like that are hard to ask your mom but if you go shopping with her and you're near any underwear shops or at an underwear section, just ask her if you could get a thong. It might be hard, but relax and ask her. I'm sure she won't yell at you and say no. If she asks for a reason, tell her that you don't want a VPL(visible panty line) if she seems hesitant, ask her to consider and it move on.
If you don't go shopping with her, just buy one yourself and when you go home, show it to her and say "Is it okay if I wear this, because I don't want my underwear line to show?"

hey. i don't smoke, i eat my vegetables by my lips are always chappy, and i just can't that pinkish glow. it's like the lips of a smoker.. what do i do about this??? need help!

Ever since I was little I loved fruits and vegetables and eating healthy, I rarely ate junk food but as I got older I started eating more and more junk food. My mom is overweight and never really has healthy food in the house. I'd like to start eating healthier again (not for weight reasons)I have hypoglycemia and 90% of junk food messes up my blood sugar. I don't know what to make for myself. So I have a couple questions.
1) I'm 115lbs (17/f) with a very fast metabolism. I'm not trying to lose weight I'm trying to gain a few pounds. What are nutritional ways to gain weight?
2)How do you make a healthy smoothie? I've got strawberries, blueberries, mango, raspberries and peaches. I'd love something other than the typical strawberry/banana combos that we've all had before.
3)I'll be going to college in August and I think they have an organic cafe on campus but I'm not sure. What are a few really easy meals that can be made in a dorm room?

To gain weight, just eat pasta and meats(cooked healthily) and also bread. You'll gain a bit of weight like that.
Also eating a lot of grapes apparently makes you gain some weight.
My favourite smoothie? I make it with fresh orange juice(no sugars added, totally natural with pulp) then I add banana, mango and peaches and blend it all together. Sometimes if it's too thick, I add more juice or diet vanilla ice cream :)
Also another good one is natural yoghurt, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries (and any other berry you might want to add). If it's too sour, just add a little bit of sugar. (The yoghurt can be replaced by milk)

what would be considered "bad" or "good" brands of beer?
I live in a country of beer worshipping.
Stella Artois, Maes, Chimay, Campus, Judas, Desperados, Kriek, Guiness and Leffe are all fantastic beers As is Corona with a lime or a lemon wedge in it, great for hot summer days, as mentioned below. Generally, Belgian and German beers are a safe bet :)
However I don't know where you live, so some of these might not be around where you are.
Bad beers...cheap, watered down beers. I personally think that Heineken is disgusting, but it is loved by many.
Ok well I've been gauging my ears and going up a size every couple of weeks. So far, so good. Well I decided tonight to go up to a 2 gauge and I went to take the fours out and noticed that the rubber band backing was missing. Well I was fiddling around with my lobe out of habit and noticed that the inside of my lobe had a ring shape feeling to it. Turns out the rubber band somehow went INSIDE my ear. I started FREAKING out.
I couldn't tell my mom, because she hates me having them in the first place, if anything were to go wrong, she'd instantly make me remove them. But I'm not dumb to the point where if it was gushing blood I wouldn't say anything. But I could see it was sticking out a bit so I took tweezers and it took twenty minutes, but I pulled it out of my ear. Luckily, for the other ear, it was still on my gauge so I could just pull that one out.
I'm just worried that with all the poking around to get to the rubber band, I might've infected my ear somehow. I tried to be as careful as possible not to stab anything and I used saline ( what I use to clean my ears ) and wiped it on the tips of the tweezers to try and clean them a bit as well. Also, after I got it out, it seemed like it was kind of closed ( I think cause of all the I'm sorry, blood build up, but once I stretched my lobes a little I saw the hole again ) and for fear of it closing and having to start all over, I put the gauge back in and clean around it and it seems fine now and it doesn't hurt.
Do you think there is going to be an issue? I think I might go to the piercing place on Friday and get them to check it out. I'm just worried it'd going to get infected or something and I'm scared the rubber band's going to go into my ear lobe again, I don't know how it happened.
And also, how long do you think I should give it till I go up to the 2? I've had the 4's in for about three weeks, but with this whole situation, I'm nervous. I don't know how long it will take the ear lobe to "heal" or do whatever it needs to do.
I suggest leaving in the 4s for a month. Your ear was bothered, and if you gauge too fast, it'll start to mess up.
Keep cleaning it and don't mess with the gauges too much. If it didn't get red and irritated straight away, and still isn't, I doubt it will get infected, that is, of course if you don't bother your lobes.
But please wait a month before you gauge up in size again, otherwise you could irritate your lobe a lot more and cause problems in the long run.
And going to the piercing studio for them to check it out isn't a bad idea either.
I know this from experience, as I have gauged lobes.

I am sixteen-year-old and I've practiced Shaolin Kung Fu for almost seven years now. Recently I've just sparred with this girl, who has practiced karate for over five years. And I've just faced the worst time of my entire martial art life.
Well, Shaolin Kung Fu can be somewhat flowery, and it is based a lot on footwork, balance, strength, and, most important of all, timing. The attacks aren't just individual attacks, they follow patterns. But it's really hard to keep my patterns from being disrupted when there are places I shouldn't follow through.
--The head/face . . . nope
--The chest and all of its strike points . . . might not be able idea to aim there
--belly, abdomen, and sides . . . yeah, sound alright, but shouldn't use full strength
--lower part of the abdomen/crotch . . . better not, else, I might really get kill _
If I'm really, completely honest, I feel like I shouldn't answer this question as I know nothing about martial arts. Sorry about that.
Although if she is a girl that really wants to fight, and is though, you should treat her like a male opponent, except avoid the chest area... :P
