mother and daughter tattoo

Question Posted Tuesday May 5 2009, 5:04 pm

Hello im 17 and my mom is 34. She recently brought up that she wants to get mther and daughter tattoos. I really like the idea. I just have no idea what to get! Is there any websites that have good ones on there. I just want something small and cute. Like a heart with something. I dont know but we want to get matching tattoos. Does anybody have any ideas or websites that would help? Thanks a bunch

Before I moved to California, my older brother and I got matching tattoos. Mine is on my hip, and his is behind his ear. We got yin-yangs because they match our personalities, and pretty much go hand in hand as we do.

If there's something you and your mother both like such as stars or diamonds, you could get that tattooed. You can either get each others initials or your birth stone colors. Or maybe even something with your favorite colors. She can get something and have it colored with your favorite color and you can get yours colored with her favorite color.

The tattoo parlors have some portfolios depending on the artist so you can see their work and if you like something they've done, you can get that. They also usually have pictures of tattoos up. You should try and take a look around the parlor because it could give you a lot of ideas.

Me & my twin sister recently got matching tattoos. We got emerald green bows on our wrists, because emerald is our birthstone. My mom is planning on getting one just like ours, too, so it'll be like a family tattoo. That's just one example, though. There are tons of things you can do.

My best friend had me draw a heart and she took it to the tattoo artist and got it tattooed on her foot. I thought it was a really cute idea. Maybe you and your mother could draw a heart or something similar for each other and get it tattooed on the same part of your body. That way it's unique and personal.

Hope this helps!
