There is this guy that I REALLY like a lot, he's my friend and all and he said that he would hook up with me and he's hooked up with my other friend before and it meant nothing to him, I'm afraid of hooking up with him in case I get my hopes too high just to have them crash and burn. I gave up on love awhile ago..even though I don't want to, it just happened. Most of the guys I've dated were jerks. I don't trust guys and I resent all of my ex's and I can't help it. don't give up on men all together. so u had some bad luck but there could still be someone who is meant for u out there and if u stop looking u'll never find them. now i'm not saying be obsessed wit finding that person but don't give up either. maybe u'll find them outside of school. hope u don't end up hating ALL men.

i don't thnk u should hook up wit him. i mean u said u only like him a little bit and u might lose ur best friend AND another friend just to go out wit one guy. but in the end u have to figure out wat u want to do i'm just giving u my opinion.

Me (14) and my current boyfriend(14) have a had an on and off kind of relationship. like we've broken up 3 different times, but things seem like they're going down hill again for a 4th time. He's stopped saying he loves me when we get off the phone or off line. We dont' see each other all that much cuz he lives 45 minutes away from me ... and that kind of presents a problem. Especially now that im going into highschool. Its like a whole new world of oppurtunitys. He to is going into in highschool adn i think things are pretty much coming to an end between us, and that breaks my heart but at the same time im relived because i can be open to new experiences ... i love him but im not sure he's feeling what he says he feelings, how he says he feels and how he acts on those feelings are to different things .. i just don't know anymore ... it's probably really hard to be in a relationship like that cuz not only is it long distance u are also having doubts on how he feels for u. i would say break up with him, just tell him that u don't think it's gonna work out cuz things have changed A LOT and ur not sure how he feels 4 u anymore. it's time to meet someone new. hope i helped.

A friend of mine has recently put on some extra weight, yet she continues to wear the same clothes that are obviously to small for her. While in her bathing suit she said she didn't understand why it was so small, and that it must have shrunk. I don't know if she realizes the truth or if she is in denial.

give her some great new clothes that are the right size and maybe she'll understand y they fit her. or take her shopping wit u and give her the size she thinks she wears and the size she SHOULD wear and tell her that the one that fits her CORRECTLY looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo great on her. and that the other looks a little small. hope i helped!

tell Tyler that u like him but u have to talk to ur friend first. she might be a little mad that u didn't say u liked him until he asked u out but if she's as good a friend as she sounds (since u've been friends for so long) she will PROBABLY understand. but she might be hurt that he likes u and not her. so respect that. hope u can go out wit him witout ur friend being too hurt.

im the only child in my family, my mom got a miscarriage back in 1997, since then im the only target in my family of my mom's naggings. my dad is hardly at home, he works to get the income coming. i dont have a close social bond with my dad because of this, but i feel somehow mentally me and dad clicked. with mom, all she does is say something to pissed the heck outta me, i'll just go to my room, stay there forever till she wants to talk again. i duno why shes acting like such a a**, and whenever i have a problem i duno who to turn to but my bestfriend. otherwise its me sitting next to problems like these. my mom doesnt even bother to find out whats going on in my life, she doesnt act like she cares or wants to be included. she simply doesnt bother. she doesnt allow me to have a boyfriend, im not even allowed to TALK about guys infront of her. dun tell me to talk to her, she wouldnt listen to me. is there other ways that u could help me? much appreciated -Rei (link)

i have that problem with my nan. she'll just get on ur case for no reason. my advice is just say ok, i'm sorry, yes mom. just to get them to shut up. also see if there's a time u and ur dad can just go out by urselves and talk to him about it. just to get ur feelings off ur chest. that's wat my family always does it might not completely solve the problem but u'll feel better. besides maybe ur dad can talk to ur mom (u may never get along wit her) but maybe she'll listen to ur dad and try to get along wit u. hoe everything works out for u.

I have all different kinds of friends in such, but i hang out with 2 of them more. Im not a girly girl( and im not a lesbian) i hate wearing skirts and dresses and i really dont lyk really preppy people tha wear houchie skirts and a half a shirt, but maybe tha's juss some of the girls that go to my school. I just don't understand why people wear that stuff when you know its unconfortable. Why wear high heels to school them you could be confortable. THey only dress like that to get guys attention. I don't like cheerleaders either they annoy me. I'm kinda skater and like to do things that girls normally don't do or arent that good at. Me n my best friend r crazy at those kinda things and fit in real easily with the guy crowd. yea i don't like skirts and dresses. THE ONLY COMPROMISE I MAKE IS WIT SKORTS! but i like havin sweatpants and jeans on. they are probably just jealous that they have to work SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to get the guys attention but all u have to do is strike up a conversation and they instantly talk to u. if they give u a dirty look just give them a dirty look back. i have a fast metabolism too but no one ever said THAT. just tell them u eat alot but u have a fast metabolism. and if they don't stop buggin' ya that's their problem cuz they're probably jealous that u have a fast metabolism and don't need to diet and they DO! hope they stop buggin' ya!

i'm going into highschool as a freshman and for a couple of years now i haven't been doing that good in school. i used to be an honor student and then i got hit with depression really bad and my grades fell to C's D's and F's and i always had A's and B's. I've been struggling since last year to get my grades up because i want so badly to become a doctor and i can't get my grades up. my delema is that if i keep struggling i want to hire a tutor for myself. normally i don't care what people think about me but i'm not sure what people would say if they found out that i had a tutor. i don't want to feel stupid. what should i do to make myself feel better about this? well let me put it this way. ur NOT stupid if u get a tutor that makes u smart. ur smart enough to kno that u need those good grades. BUT if u really don't want to get a tutor ask a friend who's really good in the subjects ur having trouble in to help u wit them. but i don't kno any tutors for ya. my advice for that is to ask a teacher if they kno anyone. Hi! Well I'm new to my high school and there's this girl (Anna) and she was so sweet. She's been new before so she knows how it feels! But anyways, she came up and talked to me in 1st period and was like r u in journalism w/ me? and so she striked up a convo. Then the next day she asked me to go walk around w/ her before class so I wasn't in class all my myself. Then after that we started writting notes back and forth a lot! She even hooked me up w/ this guy I like a lot! I feel really close to her, we talk about stuff that normally I wouldn't feel comfy sharing and I think its the same w/ her!
