I am a 16 year old girl, who loves to act and I love to preform in shows. I have done many shows but my problem is I am not a singer. To be honest, my voice is pretty awful, so I can only really get parts in non-musicals or just be in the chorus for musicals. This is fine with me, but I love singing so much I just wish to improve my voice a little. Now I am not asking for a transformation that will suddedenly land me the lead in a musical...I know that isn't realistic, but I would like to improve my voice. I do NOT want to have a voice teacher...I don't think my parents would spend money on that nor do I want to be that serious. Are there any other ways of improving my voice? Any tricks anyone knows? Also are there any websites that can help you for FREE? Also what would be a good broadway song to sing at an audition?...my voice is on the lower side (I cannot hit high notes). Thanks You! (link)

do you have a piano? if you do then go from the lowest key, to as high as you can sing. if you mess up you have to go back and do it over again. It gets vary hard and complacaited.
After youy did about 2+ hours on that... ask your parents to come down stairs and hear you! you coulfd of improved.. who knows : D
if you want to help your voice, if it crackles drink some ROOOM TEMPATURE water, it just warms your thought (sp) up and you are ready to go!

ok this might be long but i really need advice
ok this summer i went to an over night camp for about 5 weeks and i hooked up with a guy that is 3 years older then me. we kissed and held hands and sometimes he would touch my breasts and my ass and put his hand down my pants But one night it went a little to far and we had sex then the next day he broke up with me then he left to go back to his home and i was still @ camp Then all the guys at camp were asking me outa nd stuff and it made me feel special but then this one guy asked me out lets call him bob. I have a job interview in a few days, and I am deathly afraid to go. I am a very reserved person who has never been too social in school. I am uncomfortable around people I don't know because I never have anything to say to them. I have been this way my entire life, and I am way too old to be acting like this still. what the person below me said *or above haha the first to answer the question* they will ask questions like that, so think of answers on the way going there why you want the job and stuff. but dont say "because i need the money" because they will think "this one is only working for money. were not taking her" thats what happened to my sisters friend. say liike "i have always dreamed of becoming ____ and i wannt to follow my dreams footsteps" my sisters friends said that and they accepted her.. soo say something like that

Oh god! I would be misribal! Don't let him do this to you! It can harm your reputation in school and life and living. If you got in this, You have to get out of it. Ask him if you guys and be ALONE. Then break up with him if you want to and feel strong enough. I had to do that because my boyfriend (old one) didnt want to do anything and i was resopnsibal for everything. I decided to break up with him. As you should do.

Make plans! Get them to know you a little. Have a party! Play spin-the-bottle! Try to meet alot of guys this year, make a accomplishment on your calander to meet one guy a day from school and get to know them. If you don't you have to double them up a day. So you would have to do 2 guys for the rest of that week, or continuing. Dont be shy.

you can do a number of butt crunches, this is where you contract all of the muscles in your bum for a minute or so and then release, you should do this for a number of minutes over a period of tym and you should notice the difference within a few weeks. hope i helped

there is nothing to really worry about, because spot break outs happen to the best of us. the best way is to drink a lot of water, this will flush out any impurities and make your face clear. you could always try washing your face with a low pH soap or one that is designed for gentle skin. there are many different face washes that you can buy to help keep spots and bay but you generally have to use them twice a day for it to work. plus keep away from anything sugary. sweets are bad for the skin, aswell as vinigar. hope i helped

OK...
My friend has been seeing her boyfriend for just over a month now. For two weeks they didn't even hold hands, they were so shy, but all of a sudden they kissed in the cinema and suddenly they are 'so in love' and on the same day as they kissed, they went to third base.
Last week, they had sex (in the WOODS!) and my friend is pretty sure she is pregnant. However, she is sayign she is 'bored' of her boyfriend and wants to 'move on'. I'm sorry but this is so stupid!! You don't sleep with someone you're 'bored' of and never really liked in the first place!!
She also wants an abortion.
First of all, I am angry at her for the whole 'oh I'm bored with you let's shag!' thing. I am also REALLY angry with her about the abortion because I am really against abortion in about 90% of cases, this one included. She wants to kill her own baby because she thinks she'll get 'bored' with it too, and because she made a mistake. She is 'making up' for that mistake with murder.
Now, I'm her friend and I am SUPPOSED to stand by her whatever, but this puts me in a HUGE dilemma because I do not agree with what she's done and what she is planning to do (split up with her boyfriend, have an abortion, not ever tell him she got pregnant). I'm really really angry at her right now and I can't talk to her, but I know she really needs my support at a time like this. How can I push my anger aside, how can I ignore my own stance on abortion and help her?
I need to stand by her...she needs all the love and support she can get, even though she doesn't deserve it. I was very tempted to slap her and run off when I found out but I realised that it's not my place to forgive or condone or accept or hate what she is doing, just to be there for her.
Please help...how can I get over my anger and resentment at what she is doing and be there for her? And don't just say 'talk to her' - if you have to, help me out on what to say!

i know you said dont say talk to her but i think you should, suggest that she takes a pregnancy test (she might not actually even be pregnant?!) and just be patient with her. you need to let her learn her own way. you should try your hardest to stand by her because she will no doubt need you at some point for comforting or just to talk to. try and put your feelings aside and just think about what she must be going through inside, because i bet she is really really regretting it all now and is just putting on a hard act to try and hide the fact that she really is upset. hope i helped

you dont need money to go on a diet it is all will power determination and the right food intake, make sure you eat your 5 portions of friut and veg and exercise once a day. this in itself will help you tone up your body and loose weight. drink plenty of water - this fills up your stomach so that you dont feel so hungry all the time. plus stay away from sweets and anything unhealthy. hope i was helpful

one of my friends is kinda higher class then me and she lives in my neighborhood thats how i know her. she goes to a private school and has an ipod, a tv, 2 computers, a palm pilot, has gone through 4 cellphones in the past 3 years, and got a laptop in 3rd grade. she gets Louis Vuitton and Coach and Prada. I gt some stuff like that too but not like her. her parents give her oney when she goes to the mall and my parents don't i kinda feel weird when i have like $20 and she has like $100. is there any simple jobs around the house i can do to get spare money? i do my laundry and feed the cats and change their litter... you can wash the car for 5 or 10 dollars or if you have little brothers and sisters you can babysit them for 15 or 20 dollars an hour. you can also do a dog walking job or make things like neckolaces and bracelets and sell them. last you can sell candy in your neighborhood for extra cash. oh i forgot you can have a garage sail too.
