You may have symptoms of an STD that could maybe tell you, but to really know if you have one or not, and which kind you have, and to get proper treatment for it, you should be tested.

Since a lot of STDs do not have visible symptoms, there's no way of knowing for sure without being tested. If you think you may have an STD, go for testing immediately. Many STDs are treatable, if not curable, if caught in time. This is not something you should waste a lot of time with since leaving an STD untreated can lead to serious damage to your body and fertility, and even death.

You don't know you have an STD unless you get tested. And its very important that you do. Some of them can have very bad consequences.
