Q: hey, i like this boy named kyle at school and ive liked him for a couple monthes now, ive told him that i like him. my friends have talked to him and he says "its possible" that he likes me. hes VERY shy and sooo sweet. ive never liked someone this long before and i really want to be with him. i just dont want to ask him out and give me the answer thats not true because hes too shy. in september his heart was broken by another girl, and id promise to never break his heart. he's one of those boys thats kinda hard to tell what they're thinking so im stuck in the middle. he's not the most popular person, and he trusts me with a lot and we're already really great friends... what's your advice?

Aww, poor guy, had his heart broken...
If he trusts you so much, stick with him. You need to reassure him that you won't hurt him. I have a friend in your situation.
I suggest you ask him yourself if he likes you. I say never go through friends while dealing with a guy you like. With a shy guy like this, it's hard to tell what he's thinking - unless you ask him.
Once you figure out what's going on in his head, decide what to do. Just friends, maybe more...etc.
I hope everything works out!

I really, really doubt it.
Your period occurs when an unfertilized egg desintegrates, and all that stuff. If you were pregnant, the egg would be fertilized and not disinegrate.

Q: I am twenty one years old and have been married for over a year. My husband and I recently discovered that we are pregnant. Though it wasnt planned, we are both very excited and happy about it. So is everyone else... my friends, my family, even my mom. Everyone, except for my father.
When I told him the news, he was completely shocked, which I could understand. I called a few days ago to see how he's doing, and he said some very mean things that made me pretty upset. I dont understand this reaction, because he also got married and started a family at a young age.
Its been about two weeks since we broke the news to him, and he just seems to be sad and disappointed in me.
I just want my dad to accept this and to be happy for us, but at the same time I dont understand why I am so strongly seeking his approval.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It's totally understandable that you'd want both your parents approval. I made my parents go to dinner with my guy and I so my dad could get to know him.
I suggest you sit down and talk to him about the fact that you really want his approval, and you're not sure why he doesn't approve in the first place.
It could also really be a father thing - his little girl is really growing up. I mean, you're having a baby! It must be hard for him to grasp.
Give him time - he'll come around.
Fathers always take more time, I hear.
I hope I helped!

Q: Hey, I've been using tampons for a little while now and it's kind of weird! Are you supposed to feel a little uncomfortable wearing them if there still new to you? Do you think they feel that way because it's not up far enough or something? I know I put it in right, but I still feel a little discomfort when there in! What's wrong?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|

|
When a tampon is in right, you shouldn't feel it at all.
It MIGHT be that they're new to you. I remember feeling uncomfortable at first when I first started with tampons, but you should be feeling the string, not the tampon itself.
If you feel the tampon, push it in a little further.
You should also be using the regular - or slim - size tampons if you haven't been using them that long. If it's the wrong size, it could also be uncomfortable. I reccomend Playtex Slimfits, or Tampax Pearl (regulars). Those are what I use.
Hope this helped!

Q: If a person is 14, do u think their 2 young 2 have sex?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
It depends on the person. When I was 14, I was too young. I wasn't ready.
The only person who can tell if they're ready is the person. If they can take all the risks and everything, think everything over and decide that it's a good idea, then they may very well be ready.
I have a friend who lost her virginity at 14, and she was ready. Some people are ready sooner than others. *Shrug*
I would really urge the person to wait 'til they're legal before have sex, but it's not really a HUGE issue.
Hope I helped!

Q: im 13 and a girl and i want to do alot of things like make out with guys and maybe in a year or so have sex with a guy. but 1. im scared im a bad kisser. 2. i dont wanna get pregnant and 3. i havent found the right guy to do any thing with...what should i do?

You're young - you can afford to wait to do things with a guy. I mean, making out is fine, but sex is another issue entirely.
Kissing comes pretty naturally, so you don't have much to worry about there. Just don't use too much tongue...Lol
Sex can definitely wait 'til you find the right guy - or at least a guy you can really trust. Sex is a very, very intimate thing, and you've gotta really care about the guy - and be able to trust him. I urge you to wait until you're legal - the age of consent is 16 in a lot of places - so you can get birth control, and you won't have to worry too much about getting pregnant.
Wait for the right guy. He'll come along. ^_^
Hope I helped!

Just chill. Hang with him every day if you can before you leave. You don't have to do anything super special - my boyfriend and I had been together 7 months before he left for Vegas. We hung out every day for a week before he left, and so far we've both been faithful. *Shrug*
If you're determined to do something more...interesting before he leaves - try a strip tease, lol.
Music, layers, tease him...the guy will never forget it. Lol.
It's only two weeks - not too long. You two will survive. ^_^

Convince your mother that your friends are totally responsible. Maybe let them talk to your mom and explain to her that they're safe drivers, etc.
Explain to your mom your reasoning for wanting to ride around with your friends - a lot of parents will respond to a logical chat.

Q: i'm 14/f and i've been head-over-heels for one of my good friends for about a month and a half. i told him how i felt a little less than a month ago and he gave me the ol' "i'd like us to be friends" yeah, of course that didnt make me feel oh-so-fabulous. i knew he didn't feel for me the way i feel about him. but i guess i didn't actually wanna hear it. well anyway, lately, i've been really lonely. not meaning friends. i know that my friends love me and they're here for me. but i miss that hand to hold. i miss being somebody's somebody. what should i do? is there any way to get him to consider looking at me in a different way besides friends? i'll rate you quick. thanks...

There's no way to "get" him to like you, really. He doesn't feel a romantic attraction to you, but it's possible that it could develop. I can totally understand the wanting to be with someone thing. I have a friend going through the same thing right now. All you can do is hang out with him - maybe he'll give the romantic stuff a chance. You never know - be optimistic!

Q: Last night I had sex with my boyfriend... 4 times. It REALLY hurt cause I've only had sex 1 other time. Today.. i started bleeding -- in that area... why did I start bleeding? and how do i know if he popped my cherry?
its more than a week early for my period... so i dont think its that... what else could it be?

Well, I'm guessing if you've had sex before, your hymen ("cherry") was probably already broken.
Four times is a lot...he might have hurt you. I'd be careful. That areas is sensitive - it's possible to get all ripped up down there if he wasn't gentle.
Not sure what else to tell you. Hope I helped a little!

Aww!
I like Crash and Burn by Savage Garden. The chorus is romantic. I don't remember how it goes, though...haven't heard it in awhile.
*thinks*
Hm...I'm not sure, really. I've always been bad at associating songs with relationships.
It'd help if I knew a little more about you two. How long have you been dating? What kind of a relationship do you have? What do you feel when you're with him? That kind of stuff.
If you want more ideas, get back to me and I'll do the best I can. ^_^

Oy vey. I had this problem. Right on my neck, too. Lol. I wore my hair down for a week and put Clinique airbrush concealer on it. That is a GREAT concealer, by the way.
I really reccomend that. I don't know if it actually works, but I hear you can put a spoon in the freezer and press it onto the hickey - supposed to make it lighter, or something.

Just do whatever she asks you to do.
Be GENTLE, first off. I don't think you CAN go about it without hurting her the first time, but it's sweet that you want to try. Tell her to relax if she's tense. I hear it helps with the pain.
Good luck!

Oh yeah!
Black has a lot of different colors mixed into it. There are bluish blacks, greenish blacks, purplish blacks, etc...you have to be able to see the little colors in it, though.
Black goes with everything, I think, because it has so many other colors in it.

Sounds like you like the chase. I had that problem in ninth grade. I'd like a guy, and when he'd start to like me, I'd stop liking him. I have never been afraid of commitment - I just liked the feeling of chasing a guy I liked, not knowing if he liked me, etc...that whole thing.
Don't worry about it - that should stop at some point. It stopped for me when I encountered a guy I didn't have a crush on who kind of got me to fall for him. Lol.

I would wait, simply because you are, in fact, young. I'm not sure you're legal yet. The youngest legal age to have sex I've heard of is sixteen, I think.
The final decision, though, is up to you. You don't want to lose your virginity to someone, then look back at it and wish you hadn't, do you? Wait until you find a partner you really, really care for.

I think you should tell your parents you've been dating.
You never know - their reaction might surprise you. I mean, I was utterly shocked when my mom said "oh - well, not happy about it, but not stopping you" when I told her my boyfriend and I are planning to get an apartment together when we graduate.
Just sit them down calmly and explain to them that you know you weren't supposed to have a boyfriend until you finish high school, but you couldn't help what happened - you fell for this guy, and you've been dating.
Just tell them calmly, and they may surprise you. Parents are disgustingly understanding sometimes. You never know. ^_^

Q: I met this boy at the beginning of the summer, but we liked eachother the first time we talked. After hanging out a couple times, we started going out. He isn't a virgin + supposedly got a girl pregnant awhile ago. He never pressures me or anything. I know I won't do unless I'm totally ready + totally in love. I'm starting to actually love this boy! I'm just scared I won't measure up to some of his old gfs + that I want to take things slow. He says he really loves me + that I'm different from all his old gfs and he likes + respects that. Tell him what you just told us; that your conversations always seem to die, and you'd really like to be able to talk to him, but he never really...talks. Explain to him what's going on in your head right now, and see if you two can't fix the situation.
Start the relationship with communication! Talk, talk, talk! Lol.
It might be that he's a little uncomfortable with you. Three weeks isn't too long a time.

I don't think he understands the meaning of the word "love," honey.
He sais he still cares about you, but when you asked if he'd go out with you again, he sounds like he's saying no?
I think you should find yourself a new guy. All this one's doing is hurting you and confusing you. Don't you want a guy who'll love you and respect you?
I would forget about him, as hard as it may be to do so.
