2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

ok, i have been going out with this guy for... seven months now, we LOVE each other, well i do, he says he does too... and i want to trust him SO bad, the problem is, my friends say he has been cheating from the beginning, and he keeps denying it, and so now i don't know what to do, and who to trust! my friends, who are sooo close to me and the guy i promised to always trust!! i have never been there when he cheats, and there is no proof, but the only proof i have is that my friend (close friend) is there when it happens, and he close and trustable friends are there when she isnt, so there always is someone there to notice him cheating. i have heard these cheats four times altogether, and so now im beginning to question him and our trust, he keeps denying it, i ahve been confronting him about these cheats and he keeps denying, saying it isnt true and i should be trusting him and not stroies. i am on the verge of breaking up with him, but i dont want to because we have become so close and i love him now.
please, i need help... i have spent my whole day crying over this... and whenever i hear stories of him cheating, i keep crying! what do i do?!?!

Is it possible that the people telling you about him cheating are lying so that you break up with him? Also, who do they claim he is cheating on you with? You could consider talking to him or her.

What it comes down to is who you trust more. Are your friends the type who might make up something like that if they didn't approve of who you were dating?

If you're truly not sure and really desperate, talk to him from one of these friends' screennames (with your friend there obviously) or something along those lines. Try and be a witness to the alleged "cheating" and get some solid evidence with your own eyes before you do anything drastic.

okay so where i live we have water from a well. when i go to my dads he has city water not from a well and when i wash my hair it feels soooo much more silky and it even dries different. is that because it's not well water? like when i wash it at home it dries all weird and gross. i'm just wondering
is there anything i can do about the well water?

Certain showerheads have filters and such for removing impurities from water. You can get them anywhere. If where you live, no one wants to install a new showerhead, you could always rinse your hair in bottled water or something before you stepped out of the shower. Also, are you using a different shampoo at your dad's? That could be it too.

Ok, i know why someone would like someone [as in you find then attractive, they have a good personality, and they are kind and caring people] that part makes sense. But ive always wondered what it is exactly that creates the feeling of liking a person?
For example there could be two guys: both are sweet, friendly, and good looking [obviously everyone has a different idea of what good looks are but physical attraction is also part of liking a person] So both these guys would be cool and fun to hang out with, but maybe a person would only be attracted to one. I wonder why, what creates this attraction to only one, when the other is just as good? There has to be something about a person that you find special, maybe like something about them inspires you. I'm not sure if there is an exact science to it but if anyone might have any ideas please let me know

There has to be that cehmical attraction. It's impossible to describe, really, but I'll try. From our first childhood crushes (who I still remember, actually) there hae always been a select few people I found myself attracted to. Obviously, the reasons for this got more specific as I got older. In preschool, it was as simple as "Wow, that boy over there asked to borrow my crayons. Maybe we'll play in the sandbox together later!" and since we're young we don't think of it as attraction in the sense I'm thinking about now, but it has to start somewhere right?


As I got older (as in, now) I surrounded myself with the kind of people I WANT to be influenced by. So right there, I'm already interacting with people somwhat similar to me. Compatibility in a relationship goes hand-in-hand with friendship; if you can't even be friends with the person, how could you date them? With a couple amusing exceptions, the guys I've liked have been overall nice guys (as in, they don't do stupid things like breaking the law, but can act like jerks with their friends which is only natural) who I could totally be myself around. I'm not afraid to act like an idiot, be really loud, and basically let my true personality show.


As for physical attraction, it simply has to be there or a relationship doesn't work out. It doesn't make me shallow, it's a simple fact of life. There are certain traits I find attractive in the opposite sex, so guys I like always possess at least some of them ;)


This is one thing I *gasp* acgree with my mother on. A guy could be everything PHYSICALLY that I'd love in a guy, but if their personality is ugly, then I'm not going to be attracted to them much, if at all. Example: a guy I barely knew sat near my usual table at lunch one day. My friend said "Oh yeah, that's so-and-so. He tells us how he gets drunk over the weekend all the time". And, well, he wasn't nearly as attractive anymore.


Another example: my boyfriend. He's very attractive (despite what he thinks about himself) and is really fun to be around. If I'm at his house playing Guitar Hero I'm not afraid to yell, swear, and or complain loudly that I missed a note or hate the song. We can act like complete morons and freeze to death at playgrounds or just watch a movie, and no matter what we're doing I love to be with him. That, to me, is attraction.


So, that went a bit off topic, but helped me explain my point. I hope this helps you out :)

okay so i have pretty white teeth and i brush them 2 times a day and like my left top front tooth has become extremely sensitive to like cold things i may drink to the point were it kinda hurts.. but my teeth are like not gross or anything so does anyone no what might be the problem?

Sensitive teeth is totally normal. Toothpastes for sensitivity can help, but it'll probably always be like that.

My front teeth cannot touch anything hot or cold without excruciating pain. So, I've gotten accustomed to drinking things with straws when possible, and simply avoiding those sensitive teeth in other situations. It becomes second nature after awhile.

ok my boyfriend says he loves me but he won't show it. and i dont know if he beleives me when i told i love u and ur my world. what should i do?

How is he not showing it? Do you want him to kiss you more? Hug you more? Scream it from the rooftops? If you've got a good relationship and your boyfriend says he loves you, why the doubt? Communicate with him. If you don't tell him you're unhappy about something, he probably won't figure it out until you do. If he acts like you're strangers when you're out im public, ask him to hold your hand. (Keep in mind that PDA may bother him) I can't imagine why else you wouldn't believe him. Additional information might help us out.

Whenever I save my legs, I just get read bumps and you can clearly see the hair follicles or pores, whatever they are.
It makes my legs look worse than they did before I shaved them.

What can I do to reduce the appearance of them?

Try exfoliating and washing your legs beforehand. I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and it makes your legs smoother. Washing beforehand simply reduces irritation that body wash on freshly shaved legs would cause. Moisturizing immediately afterwards helps too. Any lotion you have already should work. Good brands I swear by are Bath & Body Works(more expensive than some, but really pleasant-smelling), and Vaseline Total Moisture (less expensive).

Also, be sure that your razor is sharp, and that you're not allergic to the shave gel. Try an unscented one, or one made for sensitive skin.

The only way I know of is this wicked precise, technologically-advanced scale the nutritionist at my school has.

It's difficult to calculate on your own. Body Mass Index is far easier, and still very accurate unless you're very athletic (in which case your weight is highly unlikely to be a problem) or extremely obese (in which case you already know that you have a problem)

Remember too, that your weight is NOT all that important. Being a little on the overweight side isn't always bad. Calculate my BMI, and you'd see I was overweight, but ask a random person what my weight is, and they always guess that I'm twenty pounds lighter. It's all in how you present yourself, dress, etc. Take care of yourself, but at the same time don't get too hung up on a number. That's all it is- a number :)

Okay, so I met this guy last year and right now we're friends. But for some reason I can't stop thinking about him, and I go out of my way to pass him in the hallway at school, and I'm always checking my buddy list to see if he's on..etc.

I'm thinking I might have a crush on him or something..But the strange thing is that i can't actually picture a relationship with him. Like I wouldn't say yes if he asked me out and all I want to do is stay friends.

Can someone explain to me what's going on here? Because I'm really confused. =(

You've sort of already answered this for yourself. You don't want a relationship with him, but you can't get him out of your head. I'd interpret this as nothing more than being fascinated by them. Perhaps they have an unforgettable personality quirk, or something about them is something you'd absolutely love about a guy, i.e. prefect flippy hair, intensely blue eyes, or maybe the way they walk.

How well do you know this guy? Feeling as though you have a crush on him (despite not liking him) could be a yearning for knowing more about a mysterious person you don't know much about. Get to know him better, and talk to him when he's online. Texting him is good, too, if you both have it. Even if you don't want to pursue a relationship, a good friendship is silly to pass up.

my room is always really dusty....I dont know why i clean all the time, but dust just seems to build up so fast and i dont know why

Your room could be located in a dusty part of your house. THe ceiling might rattle/shake/etc and dislodge particles of plaster and the like, which will settle as dust in your room.

My house is always under construction. When we're doing anything involving sheetrock, demolition, wallpaper mud, paint sanding, or anything like that, a nice layer of powder settles on everything in our house. Especially my room, it seems, because it has two doorways.

Also, I seem to get more dust in the part of my room located near the laundry room. Probably due to dryer lint. And short of sealing my room off from the world, I can't do much about that.

Try using Pledge or a similar product when you dust furniture, and consider purchasing a humidifier. The moisture may help dust settle better, if you seem to have a lot floating around. Also, when you vacuum, make sure the bag or canister doesn't leak. If you have hardwood floors, use a Swiffer or Pledge for floors (not the regular kind because it'll make it too slippery to walk). A broom tends to push dust around.

I really like two types of clothing right now. bare with me on the labels i don't like them either. "emo" and "preppy" both are things that i would like to wear. But i have always worn more of the "emo" types of clothing. how can i mix both types together ? Also i don't no how to get my friends to like the new clothing style. They also fit under "emo". Any advice helps. thanks.

Just wear them together and make a style of your own. You don't have to shop at just one store to have good style. Actually, the people I notce as having a wicked nice clothing style shop everywhere.

Friends should like you for who you are, and not the type of clothing you're wearing that day. They'll probably like it anyways, and compliment you on a shirt they like or something of that sort. If you're wearing a polo they shouldn't skin you alive for it :)

how do you get rid of KILLER cramps? like so bad you can't even function? and my boyfrend always asks what he can do to help. any suggestions i can tell him?

Tylenol or Midol, something like that.
As for what your boyfriend can do about it, not very much. But he could very easily provide a distraction or two to get your mind focused on something else. Watch a movie maybe, or go for a walk (exercise can relieve cramps for some people)

You can't.
There's no definite way to tell, besides maybe a guy wearing an "I Love Guys" t-shirt or something.
A person's body language isn't a good indicator because there's plenty of guys who fit the stereotypical "gay guy" personality but in actuality are very, very straight, and girls may act certain ways that may make you think they're lesbians, when in reality they're not at all.

whats the best type of liquid foundation?
something that lasts up to 6 hours, doesnt look caked on, blends with my skin tone, doesnt cause acne or skin irritation, and isnt oil based. Also whatever brand it is, about how much it would cost.

The two best foundations I've ever used (and strongly recommend) are:
1. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. About 7-9 dollars at Target and stores like that. It's wicked easy to use, and blends sort of like a liquid, but it's smoother. It'll look a lot better if you moisturize first.

2. Clinique Soft Finish Makeup. About twenty dollars at makeup counters or online. It matches almost flawlessly, because you can use the testers beforehand and determine the exact shade you need. Plus, if that formula isn't exactly right for your skin type, the consultant at the counter will be happy to tell you which one is best for you.

Both are good for sensitive skin. I've used them for nearly two years, and I've never had a problem with them worsening my acne in any way. I've actually applied acne medication underneath them and never had a problem with it. I also have really sensitive skin, and excema. So if that doesn't prove that both formulas don't cause skin irritation I don't know what will =)

Everyone in my french class seems to think my teacher's daughter likes me. Im starting to think so too... One day, a week or so ago, she sat by me in class when she used to sit on the other side of the room, but one day she decided to sit next to ME. Not any one else in the class, cause there was plenty of seats to sit in, but ME.

she is pretty good looking, but im not the greatest looking guy in the world. But i think it would be awkward dating my teachers daughter.. Should i feel this way? if not, then why do i?

She might like you. I can't really help you with that because girls have plenty of reasons why we might sit with a certain guy. He may smell good, we could see the board better from there, or we had a better view of the cute guy on the other side of the room from that particular seat.

As for why you might think it'd be awkward, it's probably because if you went over her house... there's your french teacher cooking dinner. Or when you walk into class, there's your girlfriend's mother, responsible for your grades.

One of my friends dated his shop teacher's daughter, and they broke up, so for a few days he was walking on eggshells. But so long as you don't go psychotic on her or anything, and treat her with some respect, you should be all right in that respect. Your parents might disapprove of it at first, but you really can't help who the people you like are related to, and she won't be your teacher forever, either.

does anyone know any good brands of makeup and makeup brushes besides mac? thanksss

Covergirl and Maybelline are my favorites. They're relatively inexpensive and can be purchased at stores like Target and CVS.

Clinique and Flirt! are a bit more expensive, but it's easier to find a good match on the first try and the eyeshadows in particular will last longer than a cheaper brand.

Flirt! also has excellent brush sets. Targer's Studio Tools are also very nice, but actually are about the same price as most other brands. Sephora has nice makeup, applicators, tools, etc. but that store tends to be very expensive.

Okay you know how like in cartoons you have a devil and an angel telling someone what decision to make? Well i feel like i am having that dilemma myself. You know how sometimes you get this feeling or vibe that someone likes you?? well i get this vibe with this boy. And he has a girlfriend. I know not to be a man stealer cause first come first serve right?? But like if he is around me he looks at me a lot and looks really depressed but he will always look at me for like 2 minutes then look away and repeat..Like he is kinda sad about something, but i dont know what, i just know he looks at me a lot or he will talk to me or someting. Well people have been telling me that i should take him. At first i was like no way! not doing that! but then after a while i started to think, maybe i should take some action. There's nothing wrong with talking to this guy. But, don't go after a guy who's taken. Listen to the angel here; it'll only make you look bad ("boyfriend-stealer" reputation, anyone?) and it's honestly not worth the effort. If he has a girlfriend, he's off-limits in the dating department.

If someone tried to do that with MY boyfriend, I'd be none too pleased with her. He's taken- hands off! Yaknow?

But like I said, there's nothing wrong with being friends, that "vibe" may just be because YOU like him or something like that.
