I also have a well, but my hair reacts the opposite in the city.
it seems to me that its the climate, not the water.
if you have a drier climate in the house with the well, you just need moisturizing hair products- make sure they arent too greasy, though.
If its a more humid climate where you live, your hair is probably really healthy, but it feels cleaner when you go to the city. You could use conditioner every other wash, or every third wash (depending on the time between each).
good luck. :]
I know how much hair can suck sometimes. xd ]
Certain showerheads have filters and such for removing impurities from water. You can get them anywhere. If where you live, no one wants to install a new showerhead, you could always rinse your hair in bottled water or something before you stepped out of the shower. Also, are you using a different shampoo at your dad's? That could be it too. ]
