I think my teachers daughter likes me

Question Posted Friday February 29 2008, 10:38 pm

15m

Everyone in my french class seems to think my teacher's daughter likes me. Im starting to think so too... One day, a week or so ago, she sat by me in class when she used to sit on the other side of the room, but one day she decided to sit next to ME. Not any one else in the class, cause there was plenty of seats to sit in, but ME.

she is pretty good looking, but im not the greatest looking guy in the world. But i think it would be awkward dating my teachers daughter.. Should i feel this way? if not, then why do i?

Help?

This is a good one.I remember when I was in the 5th grade,we had a after school dance. My then teacher brought her daughter (who didn't go to my school)anyway I was so much in love-my very first.I dance every dance with her. After the dance was over I never saw her again but I will never forget her,it was the greatest time I ever had.So as for you-be her friend first and get to know her.In a few years lets just let nature take it's course. You may just be the best of friends and that isn't bad.Really good life long friends are hard to come by.By the time your out of college and have that good job and you two are still together, you'd would have known each other a long time and if the time is right, your relationship(possible marriage)will last a life time.

look i'm sure she's smart enough to make her own decisions, so don't worry about your teacher, although stil be extra respectful around your teacher as you would with any potenial date's parents. be sure and maybe go out with her as friends and if you're sure she likes you , go for it!

maybe you're just unconfadent about yourself. I think you should go for it. If she likes you then she either thinks your cute or dont care about your looks so you shouldnt either.

If she really likes you you'll just know. And if you like her back why not ask her out. Its wortha shot. Whether your perfect looking or not doesn't matter either. She likes you for you, so be confident in yourself.

p.s: makes sure it ok with her mom too!

She might like you. I can't really help you with that because girls have plenty of reasons why we might sit with a certain guy. He may smell good, we could see the board better from there, or we had a better view of the cute guy on the other side of the room from that particular seat.

As for why you might think it'd be awkward, it's probably because if you went over her house... there's your french teacher cooking dinner. Or when you walk into class, there's your girlfriend's mother, responsible for your grades.

One of my friends dated his shop teacher's daughter, and they broke up, so for a few days he was walking on eggshells. But so long as you don't go psychotic on her or anything, and treat her with some respect, you should be all right in that respect. Your parents might disapprove of it at first, but you really can't help who the people you like are related to, and she won't be your teacher forever, either.

Good luck! =)

Well first off, i dont think it matters if its a teachers daughter. because if you like her you like her.and if she likes you then there isnt a problem. second, maybe she does like you but shes not sure if you like her. why dont you talk to her and maybe get to know her before you go and listen to the "he said, she said" because that could also just ruin any chances you have with her now or any other time.
