Poems most of the time. Sometimes songs. I play select soccer and im pretty darn good. I love to laugh and have fun. But belivie it or not, Alot of people consider me emo. I am trying to do the whole animal shelter support thing. Aside from volunteering and donating toys and food I want to adopt a cat. The local animal shelter is great but I need some advice about a certain possible pet. I searched on Petfinder and saw that my local shelter has a Maine Coon Cat kitten up for adoption.
Now, I know there are different breeds of cat but are Main Coon Cats good choices for pets? Are they usually more aggressive than other cats and kittens? The shelter says that this cat is polydactyl (what are polydactyl cats anyway?) and will probably be larger than the average housecat--does this mean it's going to be a mean cat? Should I go for this specific cat breed or stay away and look for a "normal" house cat? (link)

i had a main coon. and he was the nicest iv ever had. He died tho...but anywho. They are very nice cats. They are bigger. But that doesnt mean he/she's gonna be mean. Some bigger cats tend to be nicer. And its up to you if you want a "normal" house cat...but just remember, everone has a "normal" cat.

Dont wear something thats not you. If you are someone who loves to wear, black? Dont go and wear pink just because you think you have to look like everyone else. Wear your favorite shirt, or wear something that makes your eyes pop. Wear something that at least means alittle something to you. And it doesnt have to be a shirt. Ear rings, a necklace, a bow in your hair. It all depends on you.

I know how you feel. You cant put your finger on it, you you know you like them. They have this kind of vibe that just draws you to them. And if someone asked you why you like them you couldnt tell them. So your question is what do i do. First figure out what makes you feel what you do about him. Is it his vibe, his attitude(sp?), or is it something like you two connect over something. Have you ever tryed talking to him about girlfriends, or if he has one? Because the only way you will find out your "real true feelings" is you explore and try it. And if it doesnt work? Then at least you cant think back and wish you did.

Well if you want to make sure your boyfriend wants one, just one day be like, So what do you think of girls giving guys hickeys. And then, if he says no, just be like ok. and if he says yes, well then i think you know what to do from there.

so i live with my dad only and i went to school today and the certain class was dance and the teacher gave us a list to buy and bring. and the list included tampons and it either all of the list or nothing (for 6 free absenses)
so i have some questions:
• why would i need to bring tampons? what do you think? i use pads cuz im scared, what do i do? will i have to use tampons? im gonna b wearing tights and a leotard. and when im not wearing that im gonna have to change in front of everyone, what do i do??
• also, since i live with my dad how the heck do i get tampons???

Tampons. A girls friend. When dancing, you pad can fall out. and its not good when that happens. Almost happened to me when i was playing soccer. So useing a tampon will help. You dad knows what a period is. ANd im sure at some point he's had to buy them. For me i just asked my mom for some money and went and bought them. And then i told her later, after i was sure i could and wanted to use them. And dont be scared. If you get plastic and not cardborde(sp?) it wont hurt as bad. And whatever you do, Dont stop in the middle of trying to put it in. Cause then your just going to think of the last time you put it in when you try again. as long as you put it in at home, you have as loong as you need. I had to put my first one on inbetween classes, and i only had 4 minutes. So it shouldnt be to hard.

ok so to this day i am "the vigin mary" as my friends say. I have never even kissed a guy before and i am 14! omg i have the same problem! Dont even worry. At some time they will give it up. and then will leave you alone. But as for the right time? make sure its someone whos not just trying to kiss you because they want to be your first. Make sure its someone you trust. And when the times right? You will feel like....hmm...you will have like butterflys. and sometimes you will like look in there eyes and then, POOF! Its all over. but its great. (well since iv only kissed 2 guys i guess i wouldnt know.haha)

I'm 24 years old, going on 25 and I've never had a boyfriend, I've been on dates, if you want to call taking me to McDonald's as a date...anyway, everytime I see my friends or even relatives smooching or cuddling with their significant other it puts me down, it's like a slap in the face. I've never even experienced my first kiss yet. Everyone knows how I feel and everytime they say again and again "Don't worry, you're turn will come", I am so fed up with hearing that! You could take a walk in the park and have like a romanic dinner or lunch there. Go the like a local dinner for breakfast. And just spend the whole day together doing simple things. Like going to an Art Musism(sp?) a fun one.

i dont know why but every time i think about something that happened and it bothers me i start shaking and i feel dizzy and lightheaded and sick and i have touble breathing and its like im nervous.but its thoughts that are and have been bothering me.

It could be a panic attack. And if it is, its because you are nervous. And you have too much air in your body. And you need to breath into a paper bag. Unles you are use to them, and you know ones coming. Then you just need to take a step back and breath big, slow deep breaths. Its normal. Im 13/f and i have them all the time. You just need to know how to control them.

Okay so I've been awake for going on 48 hours here. I'm a tiny bit tired but everytime I try to go to sleep I just lay there for hours. I'm not into the whole taking sleeping pills thing so what other things can I do to fall asleep fast?
Don't say exercise, change your diet, don't eat heavy meals, and don't drink caffeine before going to bed because I've already tried all that. I just can't sleep. :/ (link)

Ok i dont know if its the new show iv been watching but...2 nights ago. i was i bed facing the other way. When all of a sudden, if felt as tho there was someone standing over me with a knife about to stab me. and i know i was awake. And i would think its the show but i hadnt seen it in like 3 weeks. Also when im walking around places, ill look over, and see someones face. No one that i know. And when i look back, its gone. and i feel as tho someones always watching me. Oh also i can like sence if somethings there...i think. i could never really be sure. because i run away. lol i know kinda nerdy but it scares me. And i am a bubbly person and i joke around about everything. And thats why i would never really tell anyone. Most the time i just laugh it off. But after what happened 2 nights ago. I dont know. I went out on a first date with this guy. He is really nice and everything, but I'm not really looking for a relationship. During the date, he asked what I'm looking for and I explicitly said "nothing serious".
He has called me every day since the date (which was 4 days ago) and has even invited me to spend the night.
He's a nice guy and I wouldn't mind spending time with him, but I don't want a relationship with him and I don't want him calling all the time!

Okay i am going into high school next year and my friends are starting to drink and smoke. i cont want to but i know i will not be invited anywhere if i don't. i know this seems like simple, say no, but the only way to keep my friends is to drink or lose them. i know it seems like these friends suck, and they do but i cant change groups. like idk, but idk i don't want to. i just don't want to sink to that level. if you are a teen, you know what this is. you cant just be like "no I'm not drinking" I'm only 13. i have that problem too. i just tell them i think im going to watch out and make sure that nothing happens. but that doesnt mean that you cant drink. i would if i were you. im 13 too. and i just watch out for them to make sure nothing happens. so just say that.

i have heard of girls that dont shave it all. they just "trim up" they shave the top and the sides so it isnt noticeable. And bumps are normal.

My bf (18) does the cutest things for me. during school, he filled my locker with a bunch of balloons and chocolate and stuffed animals and confetti and when I opened it, everything came pouring out and a sign popped out that said i love you. Another thing he did was write cute little messages on a million rose petals that led to my front door. I constantly find little love notes in random places whenever he comes over or in my car. one time he wrote all over his body, supposedly to support his sister's soccer game and there was ink alllll over him and then at midnight we rode our tandem 2-seat bike to the lake and we swam and when he got out of the water, everything washed off except for I love you on his abs. He wrote everything but that in washable marker. The first two months we went going out, we climbed into a treehouse in his friends neighborhood and he took out his guitar and sang to me. He does cute things like this all the time and it just makes me feel so special and all i do is cook him food and give him back rubs sometimes. I love him so much and I feel bad like he does so much for me and i can't think of anything creative and cute and I really want to. I really wanna show him I care as much as he shows me. Nothing sexual, either. Any ideas?? (link)

maybe you could invite him over, just to hang out and have a really romanic dinner there. then follow it by a walk together. but at the dinner, have like i love you written on a piece of cake or brownie in like chocolate. that would be really cute.

Last year, my mom said I could get my tragus pierced which was AMAZING I can't believe she let me do that what an awesome mother right?! LOL so anyways, it turns out I wasn't old enough to get it done so I had to wait till my next birthday, which is coming up in a month. And in that year of waiting i kind of changed my mind a little. I would absolutely love a nose piercing. for a couple of reasons 1. (not to sound like a narcissistic ego maniac) I have good bone structure in my face so a nose piercing would look good. 2. I've actually, no joke, had people say to me "you should get a nose piercing it would look so cute" and 3. You know in the Sex and the City movie where Carrie dyes her hair brown after Big leaves her at the wedding (sorry if i ruined it for anyone) because she wants to change and like not be herself anymore.. that's kinda what I want. I recently have been through a bad break up and it would just be awesome to get my nose pierced and I don't know why it would just make me feel better.
So anyways, what my question is I don't know how to confront my mom about the nose piercing.. I mean it's like a miracle that she let me get my tragus pierced I'm so thankful. I don't want to ruin it!

lol i have gotten both those done in the past 5 months and i just turned 13. my mom wouldnt let me git my nose. do more research on it. also you can tell her, when you go to nice plkaces, you can put in a clear one and the whole isnt big so you can barly see it.

i got mine done. and it doesnt hurt but your eyes water up. also it hurts to yawn for a little bit lol. and you have to wear a bandaid over it everynight for awhile.
