dance. tampons. dad.

so i live with my dad only and i went to school today and the certain class was dance and the teacher gave us a list to buy and bring. and the list included tampons and it either all of the list or nothing (for 6 free absenses)
so i have some questions:
• why would i need to bring tampons? what do you think? i use pads cuz im scared, what do i do? will i have to use tampons? im gonna b wearing tights and a leotard. and when im not wearing that im gonna have to change in front of everyone, what do i do??
• also, since i live with my dad how the heck do i get tampons???
HELP!!
p.s. i cant get anyone else to get the tampons!

It's not something to be embarrased about since all women get their period. If you tell your dad you need to use them for class then he should understand. He shouldn't even bother asking questions.
You need tampons for two reasons. One, you'll be able to see the pad's outline with only wearing tights and a leotard. And two, there could be some major leakage, which would be really bad. Tampons aren't all that bad. I just started using them recently for swimming and now it's nothing bad. Just follow the instructions and all should be well.
And if you are still embarrased to change in front of everyone when you are on your period, use the restrooms to change.

Tampons. A girls friend. When dancing, you pad can fall out. and its not good when that happens. Almost happened to me when i was playing soccer. So useing a tampon will help. You dad knows what a period is. ANd im sure at some point he's had to buy them. For me i just asked my mom for some money and went and bought them. And then i told her later, after i was sure i could and wanted to use them. And dont be scared. If you get plastic and not cardborde(sp?) it wont hurt as bad. And whatever you do, Dont stop in the middle of trying to put it in. Cause then your just going to think of the last time you put it in when you try again. as long as you put it in at home, you have as loong as you need. I had to put my first one on inbetween classes, and i only had 4 minutes. So it shouldnt be to hard.

Try tampons, It took me a year to get one in. It's going to hurt, but keep pushing till it's unbearable, then keep trying again till your period is over. and when it ends, if you can't get it in then oh well, next time! How do you get the pads? Dad? Ask your dad for money for pads, if your not embaressed about that, then go and buy tampons. He won't care, it's your body, your choice. With a leo, you don't want to see the pad line. Lie, and say you have to go to the bathroom when you change, just be like oh i have to go to the bathroom so i might as well change. If you can't do that then just bring a towel to wrap around you and do your best in a corner. Talk to your dance teacher, see if you give her the money she can buy them for you, but you shouldn't be embaressed. Just ask your dad for some money have him drop you off at walgreens get your stuff and then check out.

go buy them yourself...dont be ashamed, alot of girls buy them. you mite wana talk to your teacher and see what she says about wearing pads but im sure she suggested tampons because when you dance, alot of movement is involved and you might leak if your wearing a tampon..how embarrassing would that be!!! lol so yeah jut talk to her...i hope i helped
