Nope! A lot of people don't get theres. There are freshman who havn't gotten it!
If you are 18 and you stll havn't gotten it. Then you should be concerned.
Besides, consider yourself lucky. No worrying if its comming. You can go swimming no matter what. NO CRAMPS!

i've dated my boyfriend for only 1 month and now we're together, we haven't fought at all yet but he hasn't changed his relationship status and has the tendency to call other girls "love" the nickname he calls me. and recently, i saw him write on this girls wall saying how she stole his "wife" his old wife used to be his girl best friend. but they're not best friends now.

It obviously bothers you, so you need to tell him. Explain to him what he does. Just say that you feel like he is still acting single etc. Then it is up to you two to work it out. All you can do is talk to him and work it out.

A lot of people kiss before they are together. Therefore, it is possible that he was going to get together with all of them just something came up with 3 of them.
Personally, I wouldn't be bothered. I would focus on how he is with you and how he treats you. His past is his past. He has found someone else, you. I would stop stressing and just go with it. I mean people have kissed hundreds of people while only being with 5. It is nothing to worry about unless he is cheating on you with them. That, my friend, is a whole other question!

its too hot to run outside, but i train for cross country . what swimming exercises can i do to build up my endurance? i try to run 2.5 - 3 miles everyday but i havent the last 3 days AT ALL cause its just too hot.

DON'T RUN AT NIGHT it is cooler, but not as cool as the morning. As for pool exercises I would just try to go freestyle for a good mile+
Also get a kickbored and do some laps of just kicking with your knees. It works your calfs. and then do some where you kick from your hips that works your whole legs.
That will really help you. I did it for track.

okay, there is this boy. We have been on and off for a while and were really close; we hug, text, flirt but were only just mates. we hes not around i think about him, i wait for him to text me, i have had dreams about him and i get tingles when he talks to me. he doesnt treat me like any other girl, makes me feel speacil. the only problem is, he used me once (asked me out when he didnt have feelings for me) and he also flirts with my best friend even though he hates her.
he said he liked me, and even tryed telling me he loved me.. but he wasnt direct about it (he dont like talking about his feelings AT ALL.) so what should i do.

I feel like only you can no. This sounds weird and may not be what you were looking for as to an answer, but it is how it is. Everyone feels love differently. I've never felt it, but I think it should be when you see the person: if the world were to stop and you would be okay with how you are feeling for the rest of your life. Or if seeing them one last time would be enough to complete your life if you were to die tomrrow. I know this is very fairytale-y but I think that it does exist. Maybe not in the way I discribed but I don't think you would be able to say you still like like 3 people. If you were in the phase where you knew it was love etc etc. then that would be okay. But I am talking about when you don't know what these feeling is. I don't think thats okay because you need to like this person more than anyone. And I don't think you do.-Just by the fact that you mentioned other people. If you really did feel love you would not even deem it important to mention people and you would just mention the bond/times you've shared with him.

I'm a thirteen-year-old rising female freshman.

Back in September, I got my first boyfriend. Let's say his name was Tyler. Tyler verbally, mentally, and emotionally abused me for almost six months before I finally broke it off. The thing is - I know I was wrong to give in to this - I lost my virginity to Tyler. I thought I loved him, and adults around me believed we were in love too, so I don't know, I just felt like I could trust him. I know I was stupid, losing my virginity at thirteen to someone I no longer care about, but I've learned from my mistakes and won't do this for many years.

Now I've got a new boyfriend. Let's say his name is Aaron. I've known Aaron for almost two years now; we've always been close. I'm Aaron's first girlfriend. I love him a lot, and he's the person I trust most in this world. Recently, I accidentally let loose the fact that I have a deep dark secret (that I'm no longer a virgin). He got curious and asked what exactly my secret was, so I told him I trusted him enough that I would tell him by the end of the summer.

I have no regrets about saying I'd reveal my secret to him. I know he'd never tell anyone. What I am scared of, however, is what he'll think of me afterwards. What if he calls me a whore or something? I know that means he doesn't deserve me, that he isn't worth it. But unlike a lot of other people, his opinion means so much to me. I guess I kind of need some reassurance in my decision to tell him. D:

I think you will be fine. If he looks down upon you then he isn't the guy for you. I think this will really determine weather or not you guys should be together. I don't think you have anything to worry about, but when you tell him I think you should make it very clear that you are not interested in doing anything again etc. etc.
You will be fine. I honestly think you have nothing to worry about. All in all, if how you veiw yourself relys on one guy then I think you should take some time off the dating scene and find yourself. WHo you really are.

right now i have two mixed dogs. one is about 50 pounds the other is about 45 pounds. they are about 1 and 3 years old. I wanted just one more dog. however my husband says no! but he said no to the other two and he loves them to death. they are our children. i saw a dog i wanted and i asked him to come see it, he said no because he will get it. should i really not get another one? the two i have are shelter dogs. they are well behaved. i have a averaged sized yard fenced in. and our house is a three bed room house.
the type of dog i wanted is a husky. i did not want to wait too long because i wanted the dogs to be close in age. i dog want a 10 yr old dog and a puppy. should i push for this dog or give up. i know if i oush hard enough i could have the dog. but is there something i am missing?

I say do what you want. This sounds weird.. but let me explain!
If you feel like your life won't be complete without another dog, then go for it! Given everything you've said I really do not see any harm in having another dog. There is nothing that would make anyone say no. It sounds like you have it all figured out and the fact that you already have dogs means you know how to take care of them.
Go ahead and talk to your husband. Ask him what the reason is for him not wanting a dog. If they are convinsing enough then you have your answer. But, as a woman, I know you will get what you want:)

I am going swimming tomorrow but I started my period today, a few days earlier than usual. I absolutely refuse to wear tampons for health reasons so please do not just give me that suggestion. No tampons for me, thank you!

My family has been planning this trip to the water park for weeks now and I can't just back out of it right before we go. I thought that maybe I could wear a pad in the pool and everything would be alright. I'm almost 15 and I thought I could maybe meet some boys at the water park this summer so I really want to go and have fun.

Then, I got to thinking, won't the sticky stuff on the bottom of it come loose in the pool water? The adhesive part. I really don't have any experience with this and I really do want to go swimming tomorrow and hang out with some people.

Does anybody know if a pad will come off in the water and float around. That would be embarrassing...

You only want to do it if your period is light. You do not get your period in the water, however, you will get it right when you get out-depends on how heavy etc etc.
SO you can do it, but try to use a tampon. Tampons really don't do anything. You will be fine. Either way I would not suggest to wear a big pad if anything wear a liner, and when you get out for lunch, break, or whatever (where its more than like 15-20mins) then you should just go to the bathroom and switch out pads-depending of course if you have gotten anything upon getting out of the pool.

why cant 13 year old get a job and 14 year olds can?

It is child labor laws. It started because children would work for less money, but the life in factories was so dangerous that children should not be allowed to work there. So they made laws.
In order to work at 14 you need to have a work permit. Once you are 16 you can leagally work with no paper work. The permit is to say that you still do well in school. At 16 you can leagally drop out of school, that is why you do not need a permit at that age.

Is it just something that some people get luckily,or can it passed on from your parents? My dad eats a LOT of junk,he eats a lot of hot stuff too and a lot of salt. he puts salt on everything and he eats all day. He also goes to the bathroom a LOT. He weighs 150 pounds and it looks like he cant gain more than that. Hes been eating like this for years, he eats wayy more than me and he doesn't gain anything.
I think its lucky to have high metabolism cuz u can eat all the junk you want and gain no weight. I would love to do that.How does he have high metabolism and how can I get it?

For how he has high matabolism is from his genes as well as lifestyle. Does he exercise? etc.

There is no way to just get a high matabolism. But there are little tricks to increase yours.

What does it mean when someone says " You have too much pride in yourself"? not in a accomplishment way but in different way? why do people act this way?

I take it that the person means it in a mean way. THat they are saying you are cockey. In a sence that you feel as though you can do no wrong.

***I'm only using 'you' because that is what the person was saying.-I am not trying to attack you in any way.

As for why people act this way, I am unsure weather you mean the speaker of this statement or the individual this is refering too. So, I will answer both:)!
SPEAKER: Are an honest person and want the person to stop being (possibly annoying) like this. It is a nicer way of tellin someone that they are full of themseves.
IDIVIDUAL: The individual may act like this once they acieve a goal. Being proud of themselves. The majority of the time the person does not know that they are acting like this.

two weeks ago i went to Hot Topic and took photo shoots. it was yesterday i had gotten a letter in the mail saying i was accepted to be a model at Hot Topic, bad part is i have to move to southern California to model at the head industry. my friends are happy for me, my bf too. but i wasnt. because if i left i wouldnt be able to spend time with them anymore. and were all really close. i knew them since i was little my boyfriends too. i mean im caught between doing something i really want and being with the people i really want. what do i do?..

I know that this isn't what you want to hear, but no one can decide. You need to choose yourself. I think you need to consider everything!
Regrets, mainly. I don't want you too loose your big break. However, these are your really REALLY close friends. Honestly, would they drop you? would they never talk to you again? would they never visit?
I think its clear what I would choose, but it is really up to you. I actually read this question a couple of hours ago and didn't answer and i can't get it out of my head!

You need to seriously consider everything. I can't tell you what to do, but i think you know what you have to do. Its great that your friends are excited for you. Maybe its your time to go on your own for a little bit, and if you don't like it then you can go back!
This is such a big opertunity, and as an actress i know that these things don't come along very often.

okay sorry about the misleading title but i really need help!!

i am a junior in highschool and im on the girls varsity lacrosse team. every year we have a tradition called senior night, where each junior gets her own senior and they get like 3 sentimental and funny gifts. for example last year one of the girls was obsessed with lost so they got her an autographed picture of him. well since im a junior i get my own senior.

Ok, so i'm 15 and I just started my period about 4 months ago? lately i've been using pads because i'm waaaaay to scared to use a tampon.


But, pads are really starting to get on my nerves i'm constantly having to check to make sure I didn't bleed through, and they're really uncomfortable I feel like i'm a diaper.

soo here's my question, i've never had sex and i'm really tight so will putting in a tampon hurt for me?

I was scared the first time. It might hurt, but do it home and use a mirror. You need to see what you're doing!
You may not get it right away, but if every period you try it, eventually you will get it.
Deffinetly use a mirror, it makes it a lot more comfortable that you are doing it right and will help you calm down while doing it--you will be nervous!
