How do i mix two types of clothing together?
I really like two types of clothing right now. bare with me on the labels i don't like them either. "emo" and "preppy" both are things that i would like to wear. But i have always worn more of the "emo" types of clothing. how can i mix both types together ? Also i don't no how to get my friends to like the new clothing style. They also fit under "emo". Any advice helps. thanks.

Just wear them together and make a style of your own. You don't have to shop at just one store to have good style. Actually, the people I notce as having a wicked nice clothing style shop everywhere.
Friends should like you for who you are, and not the type of clothing you're wearing that day. They'll probably like it anyways, and compliment you on a shirt they like or something of that sort. If you're wearing a polo they shouldn't skin you alive for it :)

do you mean button down shirts and skirts?
if you de then wear a white button down shirt with a vest

just experiment with what you want to wear and base your ideas off of that.
if you are confident in what you are wearing then it doesnt matter what other ppl think.
be yourself and show ppl who you are
