Q: I've noticed my mom acting very quiet and different today. I think that shes feeling depressed. This isnt accually a thought, its obvious. I saw that she got books from the library about depression.
Anyways, Im feeling quilty myself because I feel that being the 'teenager' I havent put enough effort towards the house. I dont think thats its menopause because she's only 40. but I dontknow. Also my brother is having a baby, its not that hes too young. But maybe that its scaring her that shes going to become a grandma?
Should I be feeling Guilty? It just scares me because I dont want my mom to be depressed..

Well, she's probably feeling insecure about herself. The fact that she is becoming a grandmother at the age of 40 could definatley be a reason of sadness. Not because she doesn't want the child in her life, because 40 is sort of young to become a grandmother. Try to help her as much as you can, like cleaning, talking to her, making her happy, not talking back(it's hard to do, I know.) Teenage years are always tough on the mothers. So doing that will help a lot.

Q: Hey, this morning I woke up and my eye was crusty. And then I looked in the mirror and it was all red. it still is. My mom said it might be "Pink Eye" but my eye doesn't itch, and it's not really goopy. Does anyone have any ideas on what this is?? I rate all 5's.

Q: I used to cut myself. Don't worry I don't do it anymore but I was wondering if any one knew how to cover up or get rid or the scars. Because one day while I was in school this kid Joe saw them and started making fun of me. The scars will fade on their own, eventually. There are scar removing creams that will help that though. Wear wristbands and/or sweatshirts/long sleeved shirts until the scars are less noticeable. Well, thats all I can think of for now. Good luck!!!

Yes 13-16 is a young age to think about "the one". Love is a compclicated thing, and could sometimes end in disaster. But if I could explain love to you it will be this: Love is trust, someone you can share your deepest secrets with. Someone to make you laugh, someone romantic. Someone to tell you you're beautiful when you look absolutely horrible. Someone your comfortable to be around and simply just be YOU. I know I'm young, but from my experiences that's what I'd like love to be when I find "the one". It's a bond that cannot be broken no matter what.

Q: ok last night i cut myself in the leg. its not deep or anything just like scrathes and i did it with a really dull razor. i did it because i keep fighting with my friends and i can't help it. i had a dream about it that night and i can't stop thinking about it!! i definately don't want to do it again and i most probably won't. Ok those people obviously aren't your friends. Leave them. Your better off without them, then sticking around and making things worse. In my opinon divorce is always a little bit harder on the kids. And if your mom is sick, I'm sure she's gunna do everything she can to get better so don't worry. Don't cut yourself. It's not necessary. You could accidentally slip and kill yourself. You should try talking to someone, like a guidance counselor. There is nothing wrong with you but you probably have depression, so you should probably go on antidepressants to help you through this ordeal. Good Luck!!

Q: I just got spacers about 4 hours ago. I felt just a pinch when I got them on but now they hurt so much I cannot bite down. On Jan. 12 I will be getting braces. I am wondering are they going to hurt more then the spacers, and how can I relieve the pain. Thanks in advance.

Braces don't hurt as much as spacers. The only reason the spacers kill is because they are moving your teeth so there's room for the bands. The pain will graduallly go away, just keep eating soup and stuff and take advil. Good Luck!!!

Q: I have been having this problem for quite sometime. I am a cutter. And i can't really stop. I have been going to counseling and I had been taken off antidepressants. My mood hasnt gotten any better, it feels alittle worse. Parents are no help, my dad thinks that I am doing this for attention and he yelled and screamed at me saying that I am faking everything and its just a waste of money to keep the counseling going. So now, I am not in that anymore. I feel terrible, worse possibly. And my freind who I have known since the second grade is going through problems, she is cutting herself and trying to kill herself.
