Hi I'm Ali. I'm 15 and I'm in 10th grade. *Yay!* I'm origionally from New York but I moved up to Maine. I have a sister who is 13 and a 3 year old brother. At the moment my 17 year old cousin is living with us. He just moved in around april. Long story. I tend to be shy at first but I eventually warm up. I'm always the one my friends turn to for advice or just for someone to talk to. My dad is a phsychiatrist so I wonder if it's in my genes. *lol* I can be very fun, but also serious when I need to be. I tend to make good grades but I have to work for them. So thats me! Not too interesting. Oh well.

You need to have a sit down talk with him. Make it a long talk. You just need to express your true feelings. If he doesn't believe him then he either doesn't put s lot of trust in people or, you have done something that may have taking his trust away. You have to find out how he feels too. Figure out why he doen't trust you. Good luck.

I'm a okay ice-skater , and recently , i met ( well , not really ) this guy at the rink . He's really good , and he's an ice hockey player . I've not really talked to him before besides this one time when we collided , and we exchanged apologies and stuff .Well, i think i have a crush on him cuz i can't get him out of my head ... He's usually , ( but not always ) with his friends , and i want to know how to approach him . Any suggestions ? i rate high !!

It might be easiest if you start by just saying hi when you see him around. Then if you get more comfortable, just go up and start a conversation. A good one might be like a sports game. "I can't belive so-and-sp lost..." Good luck!

Well, if you don't want to look desperate, just try and get to know as a friend. If you don't want to look immature just kind of joke around with him. Try and make him laugh. Don't follow him around or anything. If there's a place where both you and him hang out, 'accidentaly' go there at the same time as him. Basically treat him as a kid your own age. Because he needs to like you for YOU. Good luck!

Hey, I'm kind of confused... well anyways, my friend (shes a girl), we were hanging out with some other people and trick or treating and stuff, and then like my other friend is just like... "You are a lucky man" and then im just like why? and then he said "Because someone likes you" and I knew he ment my friend lets call her R from now on, but yeah and he then said "You are good, but she says you are short and too young" (where as im 14, shes 16.) So I was just like... "oh.. ok.." well you see I really like this girl.. but I'm too shy to make the first move. What can I do? (14/m)
Just talk to her. It sounds like she likes you, too. She's probably just too shy to make any moves because she may be afraid of what her friends think. Good luck!
Hey does anyone wear the eyeliner by Jane? If so, does it work good? I bought it but havent tried it yet. Also, does anyone know good eyeliners that stay on for long periods of time? Oh and if you have any eyeliner tips can you please give me some!

Personally, I go by the you-get-what-you-pay-for rule. Well, most of the time. I apply this to eyeliners, too, because the ones from the drugstore never seem to work. The longest lasting? Quickliner for eyes by Clinique. It's got a price tag though, $14.50. I know it's not in many budgets though. But it works *so* well. Sometimes, I can't get it off with makeup remover! It depends, if you live in a rich neighborhood you could charge maybe $7-$10 or not so rich neighborhood like $5. Hope I helped!

EVERYONE hates her? If a lot of people seem to hate her then maybe find a little more about her. Just because ther has to be a reason she's disliked, right? But if you truley like her and it's not just a joke, that go ahead! It would probably boast her self-esteem, too.
ok im 15 years old, and im bout 5'3 i weigh 100 pounds even, and im a size 0. but sumhow i always think im fat! my friends r like "your not fat, stop saying that" i mean yea im not the most self-confident person.. but i dont see why my weight bothers me so much. i dont have like rolls or ne thing. but im constantly talking about how i want to lose weight. yet i know im not fat... but at the same time i convince myself i am. i think it has to do with my x boyfriend, b/c he called me fat as a joke once, but since then.. ive been really concious about it. i dont know wut to do. or how i can stop being so obsessive about my weight and just my personality towards it in general....ne suggestions? thankx

You are NOT fat! You just need to make sure you know that. There are a variety of reasons you could think your fat. Ranging from the media, to your ex. I think I'm fat, too. I know I'm not, and I'm biffer than you! Seriously though, I know by experience, that if a thin girl keeps complaining they're fat, people might get annoyed. No offence but you sound REALLY skinny. And if you say your fat, girls that are bigger than you might start thinking they're fat, even if they're not. Just be conscous of that. And learn to like yourself the way you are. Good luck. Hey, I'm 13 in eighth grade, and this Saturday on October 30th, there will be a Junior High Halloween Dance. I need a costume idea, but I go to a Catholic school, so we can't have "vulgar", "revealing", or "gorey" costumes, as my principal says. I want to dress girly, and I want people to be like "Whoa, that is a great costume!" I'm not sure if this would help, but I have red hair that's down to the ends of my shoulder blades and white skin. Any ideas? Thanks I'd really appreciate it.

Yes you cand definatly get them without a perscription! They will NOT hurt your eyes. I'm not positive if you need an appointment with your doctor but that would be the smartest thing to do. Have fun with them!
This year i took honors science. It's hard as hell, i dont understand anything and i have to do a stupid science fair project! Last year i got all "A's" now Im getting a "C" in science. I've tried to get out of it but it wont work! Any suggestions for science fair, grade pull ups, or even to get out of it??? PLZ I'LL rate a 5 if u try- Except spike cause he dont help at all.
I understand. That's kind of happened to me. The best advice I can give you is to go for extra help and talk to your teacher. Maybe tell him or her to slow down a bit. Good luck!

In my state you get your permit, then take drivers ed before you get your license. My family and I are moving to a state where you need to take drivers ed before you get your permit. Can I keep my old permit?

Awww...Thanks! I use Maybelline Wonder finish which is a liquid and then Fresh Face Luster which is a powder. Most of the time I only use the powder. I only use both for special occasions!

Since your hesitant you may not be ready. Wait it out a while. If you decide your ready you really need to make sure. Also make sure your apartment building allows dogs. If you decide your ready make sure you have time. maybe for your first dog you should adopt one from the pound because and older dog will be easier then a puppy. Hope I helped!
i guess this might be a stupid question, but something kind of depresses me. my boyfriend asked me last night would it be okay if he spent new years with his guys this year. he said that him and i spent the last 2 new years together and he wants to hang with his friends. ofcourse i said yeah, because im not the controling type. well, even though i said yes, it makes me a little sad knowing that he doesnt want to spend it with me. its like, why cant i chill with his friends too? its not like i never had. do any of you guys think i should tell him how i feel? or do any of you think that im wrong for feeling the way i feel?

I think he just wants to hang out with the guys for a day. I'm sure you like to hit the mall with the girls, just the girls, right? And I don't think there's any need to tell him. It's definatly not wrong to feel that way though. Have fun on New Years!

Before you even go shopping put some of your money away, so that will be the money you CANNOT touch until your trips. When you go shopping look for sales. And decide if you really need what your pending on buying. After you go shopping you can even then put more money away. good luck!
