You could ask your teacher or someone to tutor you on it, or you could go talk to the principal or guidance conselor about switching you to standard science. The people in standard science should be in the same place you guys are. The people in advanced bio here are actually behind us, lol. For grade pull ups, try talking to your teacher about some extra credit. I'm not good with ideas for science fairs or anything, so I couldn't really tell you anything for that, but I hope the other advice I gave you will help.

well all i can say to dowould be to talk to your guidance couns. or your principal directly and let them know its not all you thought it to be and you dont understand it and you fear your future education could be in jeopardy. or talk to your teacher aboiut tutoring...if youre embarrassed about being tutored then you dont really want to pull up your grade..if all else fails deal with the grade..its only a "c"

Find someone to tutor you on the material. I still tutor people to this day, mostly on chemistry, but science in general, too. If you go this route, make sure you let your your teacher know you've gotten a tutor - this typically makes an excellent impression with the teacher and they become a little more aware that you really are working hard at doing better.

Tutors basically will just try to work with you to give you one-on-one explanations of the class material. A good tutor will try different means to help you to understand the lessons, because not all people learn the same way. I have gotten to the point in tutoring people that we ended up covering more material than the actual class, and even moving ahead in the book. It is possible to take a student from the edge of failing, and have them end up with a B in the class. It isn't easy, but if you're willing to give it a shot, and you can find a tutor that you not only like, but also knows their stuff, there's no reason why you can't start doing better, too.

it is goong to be way harder..but I would get a tutor..if i was trying my best and still pulling down C's. Ask the teacher if he know of someone that would help you.

How very cool that you care so much about your grades..Way to go!

Hmm, you could always just ask your teacher for extra credit to pull your grade up. And you can look on google or something for a good idea for a science fair project.

hey yeah i take honors biology and its really hard, my average is like a 67 when last year it was a 98. i suggest getting a tutor and seeing them a couple times a week because they DO help you. my advice is to study every night. take notes during class of EVERYTHING important that the teacher says. i know it sounds lame, but just do it cause it helps. study your notes every single nigh because it will keep your information fresh in your mind. if it is still way over your head, maybe you shouldnt be in the class =) hope i helped

I understand. That's kind of happened to me. The best advice I can give you is to go for extra help and talk to your teacher. Maybe tell him or her to slow down a bit. Good luck!

My suggestion to you is to try tutoring. I know it sounds lame, but honestly, it helps majorly. If tutoring isn't for you, I suggest that you speak to your science teacher about maybe some one on one help. Another idea is maybe asking for some extra work to improve your grade. If you're thinking about getting out of it, I suggest speaking to your guidance couselor and approaching them in a sense that you try hard, but it's not coming to you. Maybe regulars would be better? Good Luck.

hey! Well I took Earth and Space this year... i know exactly how you feel. UP until this year i had gotten all A's... never ever a B. And this year i get a C. My advice, do a really good science project... like get one of the really complex ones that you have no idea what it's talking about, just go and get the answers online. And if it's not time for a science project, do it anyway- and once he/she sees how hard you worked on it he/she will be forced to give you extra credit!
good luck!
