well i kind of feel the way you do the same thing happend with someone who was my bestfriend...we were so close for so long and then school started and we drifted away..we never talk or hang out anymore and in a sense i feel bad because now i hang out with my other friends and dont even acknowledge the fact that we dont talk..i say if its that big a deal to you then call her or make plans...if she doesnt wanna talk or doesnt wanna make plans then maybe it was for the best that yall split..not every friendship lasts.

my boyfriend is awesome on the phone and stuff but then in person hes like distand he doesnt hold my hand, put his arm around me or anything like that...he hugs me when he says good bye and soemtimes kisses me ..i know hes not prude or anything like that because ive seen him with his ex girlfriends and i know hes not a virgin but i hate it like i hangout with my friends that are dating and theyre all over eachother and im lonely which is pretty sad when i have a bf what should i do (link)

well the most obvious answer is tell him how you feel..tell him you feel as if there is some weird distance b/t u..if things dont change or he says he feels uncomfortable making the first move then HELLO...make the first move. other than that then u just might not b right for eachother..hope i helped

This is going to be long because I have to give a bit of background information to make you understand this better. I am 14 years old, a freshman in highschool and I have a great friend named Brian, aslo 14 and a freshman in highschool. When Brian was in 4th grade he had to get surgery on his... area (if you get where I'm going with this) The reason for the surgery was that one testical wasn't where it should be so basically they had to put it back in place. He had confided this secret in his best friend, so he thought. About a week later he found out that his "best friend" had told everyone about the surgery and that he had said to everyone that he had a tesical removed. From then on, he was known as uni- ball, one balled brian, rude, childish names like that. He has a somewhat feminine voice so his voice would make you think that he was gay. He isn't gay at all, he's completely straight and has had girlfriends in the past. On top of him being called uni-ball and whatnot, people started calling him, fag, homo, fudge packer... that kind of stuff. He got depressed and started cutting. We are now in 9th grade and he seems to be okay. Everything just mentioned is only what I know from him because he will not for the life of him go into detail about anything because he is too embarassed and will not trust anyone. When we started highschool the rumors started up again. Today in class we were assigned to get into our groups and I sat with him and asked him what was wrong. He was ready to break down and cry at that point. He was so upset that the rumors had started up again. Brian is a very nice guy, he's not gay and he is NOT missing a testical! Everyone is tourmenting him about it and I fear for him that he is going to start getting depressed again. I want to help him out and be there to comfort him but I don't know what to say to him, I obviously can't say I know how you feel because I don't. I just met him this year and he's one of my best friends. I'm very hurt by everything that is being said about him and I want to have the rumors stopped. With me, my friends come first no matter what. I want to help him out so bad, it hurts me to see him so upset. I gave him a hug and told him everything was going to be okay and he just broke down in tears because of everything that was going on. He can't trust anyone. I want to make him beleive that he can trust me and he can tell me anything! I understand that he's not able to trust people but I feel so horrible about everything that is going on. How can I help him? And how the hell can I make these terrible rumors stop because they are hurting one of my wonderful friends. I hate to see my friends in so much pain. Please help. Sorry this was so long.
Also... Please don't give smart ass remarks because this is a touchy subject.
I have no feelings for Brian in anyway like that because I have a boyfriend... that was for anyone who might have said why don't you go out with him.... or something stupid like that.

well i also believe people saying that is just immature..they dont know him so they shouldnt be talking about him like that. what you need to do is set everyone str8. just tell them until they have proof to shut up and quit being mindless idiots. honestly tho you cant do much..people will do what they want..just let brian know he is a good no great guy and no one should deserve to be treated that way..i would say have him ignore them..but its not that easy..just tell him to say stuff back..make a joke out of it even tho it isnt..like if they say "hey uni-ball" tell him to say "lick it" or somthing that way he doesnt feel inferior..sorry i wasnt much help.

Ok well i have absolutley NO Pimples or blemishes or ne thing, but the thing isn't that its black heads... I mean They are on my cheeks, not even on my nose or any of the normal places black heads would be, what do I so how to i get rid of them, i mean they are HUGE black marks, and im white by the way, and it sorta looks like acne, even tho its not at all, my skin it smooth if u touch in nothing on the surface, i mean whats up? well you might want to try rubbing alcohol..all blackheads are are your clogged pores from either make-up or sweat or just natural oils on your face...if need be squeeze them like youd squeeze a pimple (if you had one). just gently push the surrounding skin together and a lil puss like substance will emerge. its natural..not everyone is perfect.

My younger sister will be 18 soon, but she has a crush on a boy who is 15. He's a nice kid and they're good friends, but her self esteem is really low because he doesn't talk to her a lot and won't ask her out. I told her it was because he would be intimidated by her being older, and he doesn't seem interested in dating yet anyway so she should stop taking it personally and go find a guy her own age. She also displays some odd behaviors like buying a baby bottle to drink out of, and eating baby food. Am I being a stiff or should she grow up and move on? (link)

well i personally believe it is a little childish also..for some people its comforting dating someone of a younger age because they have already been through that stage in their life..but how will you ever get your full life experience if you dont grow up sometime right..and i think youre right about why he wont date her..maybe he does feel intimidated..just tell her its not like any other relationship..in this situation age does matter...its illegal too..shes 18 hes 15..statutory rape..whether they have sex or not and if they do whether its consensual or not...its illegal..just let her knowif it hasnt happend yet to talk to him and move on.

My friend's dad smokes. She is afraid he will die! She says that he has been coughing really bad latly. She says he is trying to stop smoking, but not really suceeding. She says that he is the one who brings all the money to the family, and shes just very afraid. She is afraid he will die from cancer or something. So basically, i need some advice in helping her through these hard times, and maybe if theres a good way to help her dad smoking. Thank you! (link)

well has your friend tried talking directly to their father..if not try that first...if she has and he hasnt done anything i hope he realizes he is also putting his family at risk from second hand smoke and he should know that beig an adult. if she has talked to him then she should try what i did..whether they getr mad or not take their cigarettes..DONT SMOKE THEM..but tear them up or hide them...if they get mad let them know its for their own good.its all for her familys safety..hope i helped in some way..and her dad should really see a doctor about his coughing and make sure he doesnt have cancer already.

Okay, at homecoming i hung out with this one guy. we both had lots of fun but it was the first time i had ever talked to him. Well, yesterday me and my friend were walking down the hall and she looked into this one class and said, "hey look its the guy you danced with!" he looked out and saw me...i was sooooo embarassed. well, I really wanna talk to him but he probably thinks i'm a little kid now b/c of my friend :o( guys if you can answer this that would be awesome!

This year i took honors science. It's hard as hell, i dont understand anything and i have to do a stupid science fair project! Last year i got all "A's" now Im getting a "C" in science. well all i can say to dowould be to talk to your guidance couns. or your principal directly and let them know its not all you thought it to be and you dont understand it and you fear your future education could be in jeopardy. or talk to your teacher aboiut tutoring...if youre embarrassed about being tutored then you dont really want to pull up your grade..if all else fails deal with the grade..its only a "c"

well honestly if you love him like you said..it wouldnt matter where he lives..but if youre doubting the relationship then maybe you dont care as much as you think you do...i do understand the part about it not being enough time tho..just ask what the deal is and see if you can arrange some more time..if not and if its bothering you that much talk to him..if the problem persist it might be better to end it.

Ok, I'm a 10th grader who really has a life I like.There are a couple of things I don't like, and one of them is how much my friends worry about me. Last year, midyear, they started to freak out about me, and almost every day they'd ask what I did the night before. They were scared I was cutting, I wasn't. Now, this year, they are still after me about it, and some of them think I"m suicidal (no, I'm not depressed, though I sometimes act like it), and not only are my school friends thinking this way, so are my friends who dont' attend my school, and a bunch of my dance friends think this too! Is there any way I can convince them that I'm fine? It's making me crazy, and I've got enough to stress about right now.

well for one if somtimes you seem depressed...then maybe thats where they get it from...maybe you dont talk to them enough..or maybe you say things like you did in your question about having enough stress and going crazy..watch what you do and say..or just tell them youre fine but them constantly bugging you about it is going to make you go crazy..then if they dont get the picture it shows they dont care what you have to say and dont trust the fact that you might actually be ok..hope i helped.

well personally i think youre doing the right thing..i dont believe in cheating..if you dont like someone enuff to cheat on them you dont like them enuff to date them...and youre right by telling your friend she should know what kind of kreep shes dating..as of her dating him tho..if she didnt listen to you the first time u either have to get other ppl to let her know so shes getting it from just you..or let her find out on her own..some ppl are that stubborn...but youre being a great friend there is not much more you can do but that.

my friend is being extremely annoying. most of our group of friends got into advanced 9th classes (we're in 8th) and she didn't. she constantly says she's stupid and we're all smarter than her, and that isn't true.
