i'm in eighth grade and my mom doesnt think girls my age should have boyfriends. im not really close with her either. and ive never had a bf either. i dont know what to tell her if i get asked out..? please help, thx !

It is not that easy for me to talk to my mom either. So when my boyfriend asked me to the movies I just wrote her a note and gave it to her and she ended up saying yes. So try that and I hope it works out for you.

Not to discourage talking to your mom, but if your parents aren't close enough for you to talk to about these things, do what I did and DON'T TELL THEM. My parents never knew if I had a boyfriend or not. Oh, they knew I had several male friends, but which one I was diddling under the bleachers was my little secret.

You should sneak having a boyfriend until your momz is cool with you then you can proably tell her but the farthest you should go with him is french kissing you can have sex in about 3-6 months when you really really kno him dont go out with em cuz his looks its the inside that counts a guy can be ugly but has a good personality a guy could be good looking but personality sucks dosent treat you the way you would want a man to treat you so you should go for it give it a try find someone you really like...Any questions write baq...

SIMPLE!!: dont tell her! if she thinks they are just friends... then u wont get in trouble. and like said before.. if u go on a date.. invite other friends.. cuz she most likely wont notice... just make sure u dont do anything that might make her suspicious! Thats the LAST thing u could do.. cuz then.. she will question you.. and u better have a good reason to tell her.. or tell her EXACTLY whats goin on between u and this guy.. trust me.. thats a BAD position to be put in when in come to boyfriends.. i've been there..

well ive been dating since the summer of my 5th grade yr and my mom didnt know i had a bf til 9th grade..u just have to make her think they r good friends or somthin..if u want him to come over say its for school..if u want to go to the movies invite other friends so it wont seem suspicious..hope i helped and good luck.

the reason why she thinks girls ur age shouldnt date is because older=mature... Show her that u are mature & responsible... all the things she usually asks you to do... start doing them without being asked... try to get good grades... if she sees you are maturing & you get asked out... shes more likely to let u go...

Hmp, i know a lot of parents that are still like that. Really she cant stop you from getting a boyfriend, cuz if you like him and he likes you its jus hard to stop... but maybe you could talk to her and if that doesnt work maybe have you and your best friend talk to her and see if she will take it with someone elses point of view. and tell her how its common now for younger people to have boyfirends and that just cuz you go out with a guy doesnt mean that its going to be really really serious or anything. i think you should just talk to her about it! and if she says no still try to respect her decsion but honestly there isnt anything she can do about it.

i have the same problem!! lol anyway..... even if you arent close with ur mom she know's wats best for you!! i mean really!! if you eant to have a bf just talk to her about it and have her set some boundries if she lets you like you cant have sex (well doii) and you cant stay up till 3 in the morning talking to him! u no wat i am saying? so the only way to go about it is to talk to her!!

Well i'm in 9th grade and my mom is the same way but i kind of just don't tell her but you must sit your mom down and talk this out with her. Explain to your mom that your reasponsible enough to be in a realationship and just talk to her about how you feel about this problem with your mom not letting you have a boyfriend! Good luck...
