Hi everyone! I wanna be an actress so bad! I'm 13/f. I live in Grafton, WI. I love making my own movies and acting in them and I'd like to be a famous actress. How could I get a start?

Get involved with drama activities at your school -- start auditioning for school plays, plays at your community theatre, whatever you can find. Try + find somewhere to take acting lessons. I'd tell you to look into performing arts high schools, but I live in wisconsin too, + as far as I know, there aren't a whole lot of those here. When you get older // more experienced, you can start looking for an agent who can start helping you find "real" jobs.

just like me hun! lol, well, start with acting classes. i take privates n classes. then start to look in2 a manager. i got one over the summer. then take like voice n piano becauuse 4 yur resume, yu need all kinds of special skills n stuff, and those r good ones. also, start all kinds of kewl/special skill training, like horseback, gymnastics, dance... sports n stuff. they give yu bonus and makes getting jobs easier. then start to go 2 auditions, and ba da boom, ba da bing... yur on yur way 2 STARDOM

I suggest to start off you do some community/school theater. then if you become really really sereious get an acting coach and see what she suggests.

Acting lessons..trying our for school plays and local theatre. Modeling starts a lot of actress..or signing up wiht a local talent place is a good start.

There is this website, I am not quite sure what it is sorry. But its like a newspaper online, you type in a form about you and stuff, and then people who are looking for someone with your criteria can call you or something.

Well are you in your school's drama club? Another thing are you in high school or middle school? More chances come along in high school. Start of wathing plays and stuff (to exercixe your mind and stuff... the actors get it) and get involved in youth plays and dramas and stuff. Eventually you'll know more and more and you'll be prepare and then you may want to get an agent. Right now just watch out for any oppprotunity (i.e. roles in a play, commercial audition, etc.).

Take part in your school's plays. Try out for parts in your town, there are usually try outs at places like a local college, or a town opera/acting house. Find out what you have in your town that you can be a part of. Keep on going in that direction. Learn to act and do it. You certainly can!

An actress is a dead end job...They only take in like 1 of 1 million people to actually act. You should dream about becoming a janitor, and or a Taco Bell crew member. Those jobs always take people...but if you really want to be an actress...go for it. Glad I could help...but its time to go back to fantasy land...YAY!

Theatre classes in High school. Look in the classifieds in the Newspaper. Those were just some suggestions I got a few months ago when I asked. Try to find an agent or something. Maybe try out for a play that will be going on near you. Um, if there are any school plays, try out.

OMG, that's my dream 2! I want to b as famous as Julia Roberts! Im not sure of any acting places around where i live, but try skool plays even if u get little parts. Tell me if u get any information. my aim is mr bubbles1902!
