That's normal, you aren't pregnant. Things such as illness, extreme weight loss, excessive sports etc can affect your cycle, especially in your teenage years when periods are generally more irregular.

Condoms are 98% effective. They can break, but not very easily when in use. If they broke alot when they were being worn then they'd be less than 98% effective. However, things like nails or jewellery can break them and sometimes they can split when they're on. It's always good to use condoms with another form of contraception (like the pill).

I went to watch some bands play tonight - and I made the mistake of attending the after party.
It ended up being between 15-20 people in one side of this duplex. When we originally decided to go, no one had alcohol and it was getting too late to buy anything. However, when I got there they had a few mostly empty bottles, but they were nearly empty from before. I don't think a single person there got drunk.
There was a noise complaint~
The police showed up, someone answered the door - then slammed it in the officers face. The person then proceeded to lock the doors, turn all the lights off, close the curtains and get everyone upstairs.
A 15 year old girl had to leave due to curfew, and since neither she or I drank, I decided to walk her out and see what the cop situation was outside. The police came up to us and the three officers asked us a few questions. They asked if we had been drinking in there - we said "no", they asked if we had been smoking pot in there - we said "no", they asked who owned the house, we gave them as much of an answer as we could - since they were already running the address trying to find the owner.
Then they asked how many people were in there, we said we didn't know most of the people in there, and we hadn't been there long. But we thought 7 or 8 people were still in there.
They ran the plates of all the cars parked outside, and they claimed to have seen a person holding a beer while they were looking through the windows. They took our word for it that we didn't drink, and they let us go without a breathalizer or a search. They just ran our ID's.
The cops eventually got inside of the house by contacting the owner of the house and getting permission to enter.
After that semi-long story, we get to the question:
Since kids were drinking inside (some/all of which were minors by a year or two.) but I wasn't. I left and gave the police all the compliance they asked for. Since i'm 18, and I was there - even though I didn't drink at all - Is there anything the police can do to me at this point?
I don't think you have anything to worry about. You are right, you probably shouldn't have attended the party - especially as minors were drinking. However, it's unlikely that the police will do anything to you. If they had suspected that you had been drinking or doing anything wrong they wouldn't have let you go without breathalizing or arresting you or even just taking you to the police station for questioning. I wouldn't worry about it, even if they did want to speak to you again - you haven't done anything wrong so you've got nothing to worry about.

Im a British Thirteen year old Who is having some trouble at school.

First off, don't worry too much about your chest size. You're thirteen, a lot of girls don't reach their full height/size etc until they're about 18-20, so you've got a long way to go yet.
What you must remember is that even if they're never particularly large, you will also look a lot better in clothes than big chested girls do. You must remember that 99% of fashion models have small chests. When people design clothes, they don't need things like chests getting in the way - flat canvases are ideal. So next time you get picked on, I would point out to these girls that Kate Moss has a tiny chest, yet she has managed to become a worldwide fashion icon and millionaire.
If you're really feeling insecure, then you could invest in a push up or padded bra to boost your confidence as well as your chest size.

alright i probably know what your going to say but i'm asking anyways. Me and my boy friend ahv bin having sex without condoms for about 8 months now, but i'm on bith control, is it still a bad idea to continue with this.
It's not a bad idea as such, as long as you're taking your birth control when you're supposed to then you're playing it safe. But it's always a good idea to go double dutch and use condoms too. You didn't mention if you or your boyfriend had been tested for STDs, but if you haven't then I'd get tested because birth control cannot protect against them.

Are you serious? That comes up to $850. Now, I'm British so that would be around 450 pounds. My parents aren't exactly poor, but they usually spend a MAXIMUM of 100 pounds. This year for Christmas I'm getting a laptop, but not just from my parents, from my entire family (inc. grandparents, uncles, aunties etc).
Generally I'm a bit spoilt, but if I had a friend who got all that for Christmas from just her parents then yes, I would consider her to be a spoilt brat.

If I'm honest, an iPod nano does seem like an awful lot to get a boyfriend of just five months. But then again, it's your relationship and for all I know you could be very much in love. The fact that you are questioning whether it's too much is also a sign that it might be.
Maybe you could talk to him about what you both think is appropriate for presents at that stage in your relationship. Obviously you don't have to tell him what you want to get him, just casually bring the subject up in conversation.

I think it really depends on the people involved, different people mature at different rates and are ready at different times. Obviously, having sex at the ages of 12, 13 and 14 isn't a particularly good idea because generally people that age aren't physically and emotionally mature enough to have sex.
Also, the legal age of consent is there for a reason (in most countries 16-18). Having said that, you do get 15 year olds who are ready and do it safely and maturly.
If you are worried about your friends, then try talking to them about it and try to make them think about whether they are actually ready.

what's the best? see i was thinking if i choose a school like UCLA (good repuation right?) but since everyone's so smart there i'd get so-so grades, or is it better to choose a so-so school where i'd get the best grades?? like lets say i want to becom a doctor, what would be best? do they look at your grades, or where you got your degree, or both? does anyone know??
It doesn't matter what school you go to, if you get good grades then it's better than bad grades. Surely, if you go to a good school then you're more likely to get good grades anyway. I plan to go to a university that you have to be very clever to get into, I go to a good school but if I don't make an effort I will still get bad grades and won't be able to go. But if I work really hard then I'll achieve the grades I need and get into that university. Choose the best possible school you can and work as hard as you can. Always aim high.

What does emo mean?

I'm a teenage . Recently I have discovered that life isn't worth living unless you have love in your life. By love, I mean a significant other. I'm an artistic type of person who actually NEEDS a significant other to complete them. I'm dying without love, and since last week I have turned to alcohol to solve my problems. I have WAY TOO MUCH stress from school and work (i'm a stage actress so work for me is rehearsal) and dance classes. When I feel depressed and suicidal and I can't take this world anymore- I drink red wine. It's a bottle that I have taken from my parents. I only drink 2-3 SIPS (not DRINKS) every day... But today I had double that amount because I felt crappy from my hangover.
I feel like an alcoholic because I can't function if I haven't had my alcohol. I need to know if I've become an alcoholic or not.
And how can I survive without love? My libido is so high I could die. And ion isn't enough for me anymore. Oh, and don't tell me that "the time will come" or anything like that, or that "I'm too young". Because I'm not. I'm mature enough physically and emotionally to handle a serious relationship with another human being.
I am friendless and sick of being shunned by everyone I know.
I don't believe in God. I'm an atheist but i was raised a catholic.
I think you need to get up and join the real world. I doubt you will like what I have to say but it's true.
You are a TEENAGER and you're saying you can't live without love? People would probably call me an 'artistic type' and yes, I'd probably quite like a boyfriend but I don't NEED a significant other in order to function, no one does, including you. You have to get out of this mindset you have that life isn't worth living without a lover, because to be honest I'm sure a lot of people would be quite offended by that as a large percentage are single and get along just fine. Once you start to realise that you can enjoy life without romantic relationships then you'll probably end up finding one.
I don't think you're an alcoholic. 2-3 sips a day is hardly a drink problem, but I suggest you stop now before it eventually develops into one. Focus on your acting and your dancing for now, you say you're artistic so maybe you could try doing some artwork when you feel the need to drink.
I know you think you are, but based on your attitude, I don't think you are physically and emotionally mature enough for a relationship. By saying that you can't live without one, you are proving that.
I suggest you forget about everything for a while and just focus solely on your schoolwork, your dancing and your acting. You say that you are shunned by everyone you know, so I'm not sure on what your situation is with your friends but maybe you should try and make new ones. Chat to people in your dance classes or rehearsals, I understand that it's probably not appropriate to do so during a lesson/rehearsal but why not get talking to people at the end? Ask if they'd like to do something afterwards etc.
Instead of giving me a low rating and replying to this advice by saying 'You don't know me, my life is over', why not try following it and making an effort to improve things for yourself?

how long should you be in a relationship before you kiss your girlfriend?
It really depends on the people involved. I was 13 when I had my first 'proper' boyfriend and it must have been at least two months before we kissed. There isn't really a set time limit to how long it should be before you kiss, generally if you're both more experienced and have kissed people before then it will happen sooner rather than later. However if you're both nervous about it then it could be a while. Just go with it and the right moment will come.

That would be considered a medium/warm brown. Generally most shades of brunette suit all colourings, I'm incredibly pale with blue eyes but my hair is naturally dark brown, I also know people with very tanned skin and light brown hair. I think that shade will definitely suit you as I think that warmer tones look better with tan skin.

If you take the story word for word then yes, technically incest must have taken place for the human race to come from only four people. However, the bible was written a long time ago by lots of different people, so obviously a lot of the stories aren't entirely true or accurate. A lot of people, including myself believe that the story of creation is a metaphor and didn't actually happen that way. It's all a matter of personal opinion and belief and is open to interpretation.

I wouldn't worry about it. If it's been eight months and this person hasn't emailed back or anything then the chances are that they won't. And to be honest, people can find your full name anywhere, so I wouldn't be too concerned. Just be careful who you email your details to in the future.

You say you 'love' girl A, but she doesn't want to be with you. You say you don't currently like any of the other girls, so you don't do anything. Don't randomly pick a girl and go for her, because that's unfair. Forget about all of them, or wait until girl A wants to be with you.
