I'm 14/f
I think im fat and I wanna lose weight. I don't eat breakfast or lunch and barely dinner. All my friends are worried about me and try to get me to eat but I just say i'm not hungry. My question is, is this that serious and that unhealthy? Thanks! (link)

Yes it is unhealthy. It could make you gain weight too. I'm not kidding I'm speaking from experience. Your body goes into starvation mode and instead of burning those calories that make you lose weight they store them. So eat 3 meals a day. Watch your portion size and exercise and you will be a LOT better off. :)

ok usually my perios is about 4 or 5 days long .. but last week i got it on wednesday (the 20th) and its still here! heavy as it was when i first got it.. i just want to know.. is this normal? also last month wasnt heavy.. like at all.. i rate high

I think you should probably get it checked by a doctor. Your period really shouldn't last that long. Doesn't mean there is anything drastically wrong so don't get upset but get it checked out.
Sometimes girls on the birth control shot depo provera have been known to have extremely long periods. Could that be the case? :)

First off - I am appauled that there is no reading or literature category. If you feel you need to put in "Home Decorating" then you should put in "Literature" - the few of us cultured folk have questions too.
I went to my local book store seeking a copy of the books - Ishmael by Daniel Quinn and Cats Cradle by Kurt Vonnegurt Jr. (not positive on the spelling of Vonnegurt)
The books all together were something like $40 - which is a tad above my budget for reading material at the moment. I was wondering if anyone knew of some site online (not an ebay kind of thing - something more focused on consumer happiness than general profit) where I could maybe find a less expensive used copy of each.
Im aware I can use Amazon or something like that - but i'd prefer something different. Please only post something that you have used, or know someone has used and walked away satisfied.

I agree we need a reading/ literature category. I think we'll get one soon.
Why not try the public library? They are sure to have both books and they are free for the reading. So, unless you just have to 'own' the books give it a try. I used to have to own the books too but I got so many I had no room to keep them. Cats Cradle is a good one by the way. Vonnegut is spelled without the R.
I could talk books for hours...anyway, you wanted something I've used and the public library is what I use. Free, can't beat that. :)

ok i have this b/f and we've been together for a year and it was just my b-day and he got me this really cute bracelet and i love him so much and he loves me.... i think. and my ? is well for the past couple monthes we havnt seen eachother at all except for 2 times and i jsut wanted to know if i should dump him because i never see or talk to him. altho i know school is coming up but i still dont see him that much in school and i wanted to know if somone could please tell me like what to say to him and should i give my bracelet back? please help i'll rate high (link)

If you love each other then you shouldn't break up. Instead work on seeing each other more. Make an effort to call or email everyday. Invite him over to your house. Since the bracelet was a birthday gift you could probably keep it. :)

A lot of 13 year olds are perfectly mature enough to babysit. If you have experience that is a big plus. :)

My vagina itches realy bad! not inside, but outside if you know what i mean. There's also a little red striaght line from where my vagina starts. Its about half inch long. It is possible you have an infection of some kind. Best thing to do is go see a doctor so things don't get worse.
It has nothing at all to do with your getting your period. :)

Im going to the doctor at 1 oclock estern time and im scared that going to look down my pants or under my bra..........I know it sounds dumb but can any one tell me what to say to the doctor to tell her not to maybe she can ask questions instead of looking. Where the doctor looks depends on what you are going for.
If you are going for birth control or something such as that then doctor will have to do internal exam in order for you to get a prescription.
If you are going for anything else then none of those things are necessary. You simply tell the doctor that you prefer not to remove your clothes. It really isn't necessary unless you are having female problems.

I think there is someone there for eveyone. Finding them is the problem. People spend to much time working on dead end relationships, or trying to get the wrong person to love them. In the mean time their true love is doing the same somewhere else.

Hey Im 15/f and I was just wondering what are some signs that you are pregnant? and when do you start getting them? like how many days or weeks after your missed period? Im like so confused!!! I've been having these strange stomach pains and its only been like a day or two after I was suppose to get my period..could I be pregnant?

Stomach pains are not a symptom of prgnancy.
morning (or anytime) sickness (nausea and/or vomiting)
Breast tenderness
No period
Usually start in when period is missed. If its only been a couple of days I wouldn't worry abouot it yet. :)

Yes the blue bow tie is a chevy emblem. Mostly on old muscle cars. I have a 69 Camaro and it has a blur bow tie. I am a car nut and hubby and I do some drag racing...closest thing to a pic of me in exsistance!
I don't know shit about any kind of codes yet so yea, thats what the stars are for. For some reason the spaces I used before were no longer working and it was all ran together. Will try that code though if I can figure out how!

I think you should wait until he comes back. It would be way to hard to raise a child on your own and I believe every step of pregnancy and childbirth should be a shared thing. I was pregnant as a teen so I can't say it is BAD, there are just SO many things babies need and so many expenses you aren't considering. Not to mention babies dad needs to be there from beginning to end. :)

I recently came back from a camping weekend, and ever since then I've had a horrible rash all over my face and neck. It's red, blotchy and REALLY REALLY ITCHY!! I know it's an allergic reaction to something (I am allergic to EVERYTHING!) but it's not going down like my other reactions do. I've taken Benadryl allergy tablets and I've also put on some Eucerin moisturising cream because that usually works, but it's not having any effect!! plus I've got to be at work on Saturday and I don't want to go in looking like this! Please can anyone suggest anything I can do to make it better??? Or can someone give me an idea of what I can do to cover it up?? (link)

Go visit a doctor. Could be a bad case of poison ivy or something like that. Since it is on your face and neck don't mess around...go see a doc :)

My brother is forced to move to Hawaii on tuesday for 3 years cause of military orders. he isn't able to take the dog with him because of the rabie policy in Hawaii and the money issue of getting the dog tested(my parents won't let my brother borrow money.). He asked everyone he knew to take care of the dog but they all said no. I wanted to take care of the dog but my parents told me and my brother that they hate animals and that I won't be able to concentrate in school and that school is my top priority. I've tried talking to my parents about it but they always get pissed off and yell at me. So my brother has no choice but to send him to the animal shelter. How can I persuade my parents to let me keep the dog? (link)

Tell them it might be kind of nice to have something he loves around your house while he is gone. It might also do him good while he is gone to know where his dog is and that it is being taken very good care of. :)

ok, this might seem a bit confuseing but here it goes. Ok me and this guy Brian and his mom and my mom were hanging out by the pool. Brian is 17 by the way. When we first got there Brian asked me how old i was. And I told him i was 13. Then after a while of talking and swimming. He comes and sits beside me while our moms are gone to get something to eat. Right out of nowhere he says " Well what do u think about me?" Then I got so imbarassed and told him what I thought. He kept going on and on and on about how he would kick his youger sisters ass if she botherd me ( who is in my grade). Then after a few minutes he comes and sits beside me again and says " You know what?" " I can spoil you." I looked at him and said " Oh yea, I bet you can" Then he goes " I can give you a missage and that will spoil you." I loked at him funny and said " I don't think so "
