i am babysitting right now and i am 13 it is a very good age because when you grow up and have kids you will know very well what to do.

Of course it is, I started babysitting when I was in 6th grade, and I was 11 turning 12. Just as long as the people you habysit trust you, and you are responsible enough!! Also as long as you're allowed to and you know what you're doing, and you're good with kids and stuff. But yeah, I think 13 is a fine age to start babysitting, it's also an age where you'll start to really want money, so what better way to earn it, than babysitting.

But make sure you keep eyes on whoever your babysitting lil kids like getting in to stuff!! well it really depends on the person you're babysitting. not saying that you're not trustworthy, but most adults don't trust a 13 year old with there child! and i guess that depends on you, and how mature you are. but thats when i started babysitting my neighbors kids! but be sure that if you REALLY want to job that you act the same towards the children as you would the parents, b/c the girl that babysitted me when i was little was nice/sweet/innocent in front of my parents and then when it was just me she was pure evil, and be sure that the kids like you, and that you do fun stuff to entertain them and i think that if YOU believe that you're ready to start babysitting, and you have that experience, GO FOR IT! hope i helped! =)

I think any age past 13 is a good babysitting age b/c by then u are mature enough to take on responabiltes!

Yeah, it's fine to babysit then. Some parents would like someone older, like if they have an infant, though. Really, it just depends on the parents of the children you're sitting for and their preferences.

It's kinda young but since you've already handled the responsibilty of a 2 year old (impressive) then i would say you are ready for it. If you feel like you can handle it then i'm sure you can. Go for it!!!

you can actually start at 11, but most parents usually go with 13 and older. So you could actually start now.

well tech. by law you cant start babysitting until you are like 13 or 14 but i think it depends on how mature you are and stuff. if your under the age of 14 i would recomend being a mothers helper first or only babysitting 1 child for only an hour or 2. if your older than 14 and you think you can handle if then go for it. just make sure your not over your head like your first job isnt for more than 2 kids or whatever

Sure it is! Parents always love when the babysitter has experience. Theres nothing wrong with being 13 and babysitting, now 12 and younger might be a little different story. :)

your age but try to babysit people you know to get referrence from them becuase most parents wont count your nefew as a good referecesince hes related to you and good luck !!

It depends on the kid's parents that you are baby sitting. If you are experinced then i'm sure you will be fine but some parents won't think that because of your age. If the parents say no just ask others.

yea! im 13 and i am a full time babysitter. little kids accually like younger babysitters because they are more their age and 13 year olds understand them more. and if you have experience thats even better.

Yea its fine. Im that age and i got my liscense at the red cross. The red cross says you have to be a 5th grader or older to be certified and you are over that mark.

A lot of 13 year olds are perfectly mature enough to babysit. If you have experience that is a big plus. :)
