Tounge rolling is actually a gene you inherit from your parents. Some people have it, some people don't. I don't, my brother does. Anyways, for Spanish, yeah, you have to roll your tounge to say your R's. But it's easy. Pretty much anyone can do it.

The same thing happened to me, though me & my older brother aren't twins. We look alike, but he's 5 years older. Anyways, they ended up going out, and it really pissed me off to the point where me & him were fighting all the time, & I ended up shutting her out of my life. I'm still not friends with her to this day.

Anyways, try to think of it this way. You want your brother to be happy right? Well, this will make him happy, so even though you hate it, let it happen & back off. I mean, there's going to come the day where you like one his friends. Just let them be together, & eventually you'll be okay with it.

Hey iam 17 and a female and my stepdad was watching the news this morning and when there was something on that was telling about how a teenage boy killed one of his parents on the news and as soon as the news was over he says Iam suprised you havn't done it yet to your mom and I said why would I becouse I love my mom and then I ran out of the room crying and my mom came in to my room and told me if I didn't shut the hell up she'd slap the s out of me sorry about the language but please help me I'd really appreciate it.my mom told me that I was just overreacting and I had no right to be crying becouse my stepdad was only playing was I overreacting?

He does sound like he was just joking, but still it was kinda rude of him to say that to you. I don't think you were overreacting, because you had a right, but neither of them had the right to say what they did.

I live in a one storey house. My family sleeps late and wakes up early. That's bad and I don't wanna have that kind of lifestyle. So whenever I try to sleep early, my parents(who arent asleep yet) will be watching tv and talking rather loudly. And when I try to sleep after all of them have slept, I'd be unable to sleep till late morning cos they'd all be up already. The sound of my dad's car driving off and the clanging of the pots and pans in the kitchen by my mum wakes me up in no time.

I feel really very frustrated. I told them to please keep it down. They'd try to be quiet for a few days but then their old habits kick in again after some time. So when I told them to keep it down again, they told me that I'm spoilt and told me to deal with it.

My eye bags are like so darn obvious and I feel so damn frustrated at being unable to sleep.

I've tried to not sleep for a whole day so that I'd be sleepy enough to sleep the whole day but it didnt work out. Its the noise that my family makes that keeps me up almost all night. I get only like 6 hr plus of sleep and tt's definitely not enough!

I used to be a heavy sleeper but I dun know why I've become such a light sleeper and that sucks. So now, I feel so paranoid to the extent that I dont dare to sleep for fear that my family members will wake me up with their noisiness.

THere's no point telling them to keep it down cos they'd just go back to their own habits again.

I'm desperate for a good night's sleep. Someone please help me. Tell me how to shut out their noisiness and be able to sleep like a dead man.

Well, I'd tell you to talk to them, but since you already did, & they told you to deal with it, it seems kinda pointless. Try to get a sleeping pill. It'll get you sleepy, and it'll probably make you sleep heavy. If that doesn't work, then soundproof your room.

I went out with Adam about three months ago. Before I went out with him, my friend Lanie went out with him. Me and Adam broke up, but we remainded close friends. However, Lanie and Adam started dating again.

Now Lanie won't let Adam talk to me at all anymore! It's so stupid, she thought we were flirting, but I have a boyfriend! Its really annoying, cause now he won't talk to me or else she threatens to break up with him. He'll try to sneak over and talk to me when she's not looking, but sometimes she`ll catch him and get super mad! What should I do? I miss my friend!

Talk to her. Tell her that you don't like him in that way since you have a boyfriend, and you just wanna be friends with him. Tell her you're not flirting with him. Also, tell her that she's not being such a good girlfriend by telling him who he can & cannot hang out with, because he might get sick of it & dump her. Just ask her what's up. I think she's too paranoid. Either that, or she's just a little psychotic.

how do you explain to a kid their pet died?

they went to live on a farm with all the other pets?

I would just tell them the truth about it. Death is something they're gonna have to deal with all of their lives. And if you tell them their pet went to a farm, it'd backfire. Imagine a person dying, and your kid asking you "Did they go to the farm too, mommy?" Yeah, how funny would that be. Also, telling them that it went to a farm wouldn't be the best idea because they'd wanna go see it, & they'd wonder why you gave it away to a farm. Just tell them the truth, and nothing bad will happen, except that they'll be upset for a while. But get them a new pet, and they'll bounce back. Unless they were really attached. Then they'd pull that whole "I DON'T WANT ANOTHER PET! I WANT MY OLD ONE BACK!" and cry & run away.

i caught a virus from a friend and last night i threw up 5 times and the 1st time, stuff actually came out. and the other times, i couldnt stop heaving unless something came out and nothing was coming out....is that normal? well anyways, i have the grossest taste in my mouth and i cant get it to go away and i have tried ginerale and crackers to make my stomach feel better but it didnt work. is there anything else? and like that muscles in my lower back and like my abdominal muscles are soooo sore like everytime i get up and get down and wen i laugh or cough or something. i tried stretching to get it to go away but it didnt work...any other suggestions?

I don't think they can since it's illegal to invade someone's privacy that way. Just like it's illegal to have cameras in the bathroom at schools. No, I don't think they can have the cameras. If you ever see a camera, report it, & file a lawsuit.

okay, well I had an xanga and I wrote something mean about a really popular girl in school. And I said "do you think people actually like ****** for her personality?!?! no, people like her because shes GORGEOUS!" and I honestly meant to say it because people in my school are shallow and dont like people for their personality! I wasnt even saying she had a bad personality. Well, I'm not saying this to be mean, but you really shouldn't talk about anyone in the first place. It just brings unwanted & unnecessary drama. Don't write stuff like that in your xanga because you know people from school are gonna see it. If you wanna write personal stuff & keep it personal, get a private journal that you manually write in with pens.

Anyways, it's your opinion about her. You should never be sorry about your opinion. Even if it's right or wrong. Never be sorry for it. It's what you think about something.

I post stuff like that on my xanga too, but I don't care what people think about me, or what they have to say. So I post it with no worries.

If you're really all that worried, just apologize to her & let her know that it's just your opinion, & explain to her what happened. And if she's rude about it & doesn't accept your apology, well then you were right along, & she can pretty much go fuck herself.

I don't know what to do and I really need advice.

My twin sister hates me. At least, I think she does. She acts like she does.

I moved out nearly a year ago into a flat with my boyfriend and since then, my relationship with everyone has improved....except with my sister. I've tried everything. I've got her round for an evening to watch movies, I even cooked a meal for her the day before yesterday. I invite her places and generally try to reach out and be sisterly.....but all she does is bitch at me.

For example, when I was there on Sunday, any time I said anything about the house (including innocently asking why there was a heap of bedclothes in the middle of my parent's bed), I got told that it was none of my business, because I don't live there any more. Then, when I try speaking to her about anything neutral, such as how work is with her and so on, she clams up. She won't talk to me and on the occasions she does, she does nothing but snap and be rude, ill mannered and.....I just don't know if I can cope with it.

It's getting to the stage where it is just easier to shut her out all together because I can't handle the way she rejects me all the time. Everyone has seen it, so I know it isn't me being paranoid.

I need some advice on how to handle it. I've tried fighting back, I've tried not saying anything..all I can do is get angry and cry.

Please help. Any advice will be gratefull received.

It doesn't matter if you guys were never close, you love her, and she loves you. No matter how much you argue, and fight, you know there's love there. It's just hard to see.

There's a possibility she's jealous that you're out on your own with your boyfriend, & getting your life set.

I think she does miss you, but she's showing it in a totally different way. She's probably mad that you left her there to be by herself.

All I can tell you, is to sit down with her & explain that what she's doing makes you feel bad & that you're sorry about all the tension & arguments over the years. Just talk to her calmly, and if she's rude, just take it until you get your point across.

here is my problem. I am the kind of girl everyone says is really pretty but never gets a boyfriend or one that is high enough to my standards that i would day. I can get the ugly guys but comeon who wants that.


Anyways here is my situation. I met this kid at work and i found out he went to school with me. He is a veryyy atractive kid and seems like a truely nice guy.

He seems like the guy i have always wanted to date until i found out today he is a pot smoker.

My question is does that make him worth dating? I don't know much about him and by the looks of his myspace it looks like he does not smoke very often. I am totally anti smoking and anti drugs and out of all of my friends i seem to be the most outragous when it comes to that topic (i have drank only a small handful of times). So pretty much i am a good girl.

As long as he doesn't smoke around me you know i don't care but is her serously like boyfriend material? like i don't want to get my heartbroken over a guy who was never going to be comitted or whatever.

I am very confused on what to think and how to deal with this because i believe he likes me and i sorta like him too.

Well, the decision is totally your's. Although, if it was me in the situation, I wouldn't date him. I'm not against smoking, but I don't like it, and I wouldn't want somebody high around me. It just makes me mad that they're throwing away their life to drugs. All I can say is, think about this a lot. Or you can make a list of the good & bad things, & if there's more good things on the list, then go for it. But don't underestimate the "ugly" guys. Sometimes they get cute, & they might just treat you like a princess.

im 13 and my sister is 9 and our next door neighbors have 2 sons (one is 6 ryan and one is 9 chris) my sister and chris are best friends and they do everything together and hes always at our house or shes always at his house. they cannot be seperated, ever. but the younger son (the 6 year old) who is the most whiny cry baby annoying kid in the whole world always has to tag along with chris. everytime chris comes to hang out with my sister,ryan has to come to. since hes 6 he has nothing in common with any of us and he always tries to play with my sister and chris. my mom hates ryan and wonders why he cant find a friend his own age to hang out with and she doesnt want to watch another kid because even though ryan is 6 he still cant walk right he always falls and he cries all the time and my mom doesnt want to put up with it. she sends ryan home but he wont leave and my mom tries to be nice and says "i have alot of things to do i cant watch 4 kids including my own so could you please go home" ryan just wont listen and if he does leave he just sits in OUR garage for 3 hours. of course his parents dont care, they just want whatever is easier for them so they send both of there kids to our house all the time. we dont mind chris since hes my sisters age but ryan is 3 years younger then them and 10 years younger then me so we cant entertain him no one has anything in common with him. today ryan rang our doorbell we knew it was him so we didnt answer but he rang our doorbell 9 times in a row so fast so my dad opens the door and says can you please not do that and ryan asks to come in the house my dad says no where leaving soon to do errands but ryan WOULD NOT leave. he kept begging to come in the house for 5 minutes and we kept saying no sorry and closed the door. then 2 seconds later he rang the door bell 20 more times. my mom told his mom and she just thought it was funny. my family has hinted in every way that we dont want ryan over our house because he doesnt leave and hes too young for us to watch and if you look away for a minute hes getting himself into trouble like running into a wall or falling down the stairs. we've even walked him over to the another boys house who was his age but he didnt want to play with him. how can we keep ryan from coming into our house even if the doors are locked he will just knock and ring the doorbell for an hour even in the pouring rain and if no one answers he starts screaming and crying so loud. his parents dont think anything is wrong. i want to say something to ryan to let him know that we dont want him over but i dont want to sound mean. how can i nicely tell him not to come over to play anymore??? its driving us insane

Just tell Chris that you don't want Ryan to tag along because you can't watch him, and neither can your parents.

I actually feel sorry for this kid though. I know kids can be annoying, but he only does this because he's not getting enough attention from his parents.

I have a cousin who is 18 and she is obsessed with stephen coletti from laguna beach. it is really bad and scary and gross. she actually thinks in her messed up nut of a mind that she is gonna marry the guy. she bought like a really expensive gown/dress thing and always tells me how they are gonna name their kids peachy and cory. meanwhile i am sitting there thing of the best escape route out of that physcos house. she even has a pillow with his face on it and she actually masterbates with it and licks it and now their are wierd stains on it and everything! SCARY I KNOW... when she tells me all this stuff sometimes i just wanna sock her. her room is filled with pictures of him and she talks about how great his sex IS and all the dreams of making out with him. i have no idea what she means by "IS" she doesnt even know the poor man. she tries to make me dress up like him..so she can do "stuff" =\..FOR ME THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW. she actually cries when there are no autographs by him on ebay. i am scared for the guy if she ever meets him....does she need a boyfriend or a swift kick in the butt or SOMETHING? Well, it's only been 2 weeks. I would give it a little bit more time before you assume that it's not going to work out for either of you. If it doesn't work out, then break up with him, & go for the second guy. When you do it, just tell him that you think you'd be better off friends, and that things are working out as well as you'd thought.

Well, I pierced mine on my own with a piercing earring because I didn't feel like buying the earrings from a store & having them do it. Last time I got my ears pierced at the store, they fucked it up & my ears got infected. So, I did it on my own. But, I would go to an actual place where piercings are done, because if you get it somewhere like Claire's, it'll suck.
