Cameras in changerooms? Can stores have surveillance cameras in changerooms? Like right in the stalls where you change? Would they be monitored?
Thanks

i am deeply sorry
hope your life gets better!!!!! ]
i work at sears and we do have surveillance cameras in our changing room.. they don't moniter inside the room or anything unless they have been fallowing someone over the store and they know they are trying to steal. The acually stalls don't have cameras in them but they can direct them in there as i said but they don't do that unless they are 100% sure you are stealing something expensive ]
i know that stores cannot have the cameras actually in the stalls. but most stores have cameras right outside of the stalls to make sure that whatever you take in the stalls you take back out of the stalls. but now i have a question for you: why are you asking this? lol. did you see a store with cameras in the stalls? ]
Hey
Good question.. I've always wondered this myself..
Stores cannot have cameras in changing rooms.. that would be an invasion of privacy to people who are completely innocent..
Its a federal law that stores can't have any type of surveillance in changing rooms
Hope I helped!

No its illeagal but i just wondered, why do u wanna know? im curious ]
Thats just sick. Its very illegal. ]
Totally illegal. ]
Nah that's just wrong. Even more wrong for them to be monitered. ]
No, that is so illegal its not even funny. If you've been to a place that does this I suggest you get a lawyer. It doesn't even have to be a good lawyer, like I said, it's very illegal. ]
I don't think they can since it's illegal to invade someone's privacy that way. Just like it's illegal to have cameras in the bathroom at schools. No, I don't think they can have the cameras. If you ever see a camera, report it, & file a lawsuit.
