does anyone know how to get rid of dark eye bags??

Makeup is the only thing to really deal with the color. If they are really very puffy then try a dap pf preparation H under your eye. Cold tea bahs and Cucumber slices are often used as well.

i'm around 5 foot 3 or something i want to grow AT LEAST 4cm taller really soon. i feel like a midget when i walk around at school.

Sorry sweetie, there is nothing you can do. But if you are only 14 or 15, you still will most likely grow a bit more before you reach your max height.

i have a silver TI-83 plus and before a math test i 'erased the memory'.. i didnt know that it would erase everything! It erased everything in my applications except for the first one which is 'finance..' is there anyway to get all my other programs back?? please help because i need other programs on the calculator!! Hi. I work in a drop in centre for people with mental and physical disabilities. Recently we hired a new girl to work in a seperate job employment program, funded by the centre, but not really being involved with it. My own employer, before she left for her maternity leave, made it clear that I was in charge of the drop in program.
However- this person does not have anyone to work with in her own program, and apparantly has decided to horn in on mine. When I am working with the members, she buts in, telling them what to do and how to do it. Several times she has forced people (who may not be willing/may be unable) to do work like washing dishes. Once she was incredibly pushy towards a person who was suffering a petite mal seizure.
I don't want to have to deal with further strained relationships with my coworker. Already I feel resentful and threatened by her, mainly because she is two years younger, fresh out of college, and is one of those super-perky-isn't-my-life-wonderful-compared-to-yours kinds of people. How do I politely assert my authority without offending her?

Well, you are the one in charge right? I wouldn't worry about offending her- it sounds like you are too nice. She is offending you, and interfering with your ability to do your job. Be straightforward and tactful. I would also suggest finding other work for her to do since she obviously needs something else to occupy her time. Make it clear that she must do as you say and nothing less will be tolerated. I understand about the intimidation, but she won't stop until you assert yourself. As far as a strained relationship...it's a matter of choosing between the cold shoulder and what you are putting up with now.

Hey everyone. I'm back. With another problem concerning this Italy trip. Incase you dont know the story, my history teacher is taking a few students on a trip to italy possibly during spring break but my mom will NOT hear of it. When I asked her why she said because we would be leaving the country. Plus with the things going on with teachers now-a-days. She thinks my teacher is like..some pyschotic rapist. She doesn't even want to hear what I have to say. She doesnt even want to give it a CHANCE! It's just an automatic NO. I understand leaving the country and going near the middle east is probably not the best or smartest idea right now. But i dont see what the issue is. We'll be in Italy and Greece. I dont know what i can do to change her mind. I thought about talking to my teacher and seeing if he would be willing to meet with them sometime this week or next to talk with them about it. but that might make things worse. I dont want to aggravate my mom because then she'll say no and leave it there. but i want her to understand that i really want to do this. I just dont know what to do! ugh :( does anyone know of something i can do or say that will get her to listen to me? (link)

I don't know how old you are...but I do remember your question from before. To be honest, your mother is absolutley correct in her hesitance to allow you to go overseas (one adult teacher- a few kids...no other chaparones...) I'm not saying that your teacher is anything other then a wonderful human being and teacher...and I'm sure your mother isn't saying that either...but it would be extremely irresponsible of her to let you go in this situation. In fact, I personally think it's inappropriate for your teacher to suggest a trip with such a small group and no other adults or parents. I mean, why? Why just him and no other adults, what is the justification for that? I don't think there is one.

You will be surprised at how quick and simple it is, and the doctor will answer all your questions honestly and so that you understand everything. Do it! It could be one of the smartest decisions you'll ever make.

Hey. I'm the one who asked about the driver's license and insurance. Thanks for the answer. I wanted to add that I DON'T want to get my license because I don't need it and can't afford it. My mom won't listen, though. She says I'm getting my license on October 1st and that's final, and that I'm going to pay insurance whether it's my whole paycheck or not. What do you think? (link)

In that case, yeah I see what you mean. I would fail the written on purpose, and if she keep on taking you to the moter vehicle place every week to retake it and you keep failing, pretty soon she'll get tired of it. She'll probably figure out what you are doing though, but who cares? If you don't want it and can't afford it (and she refuses to care) then don't get it untril you're ready. If you do get it, she'll take your money. Fail that test!

The best thing to do is make the test inconclusive so none of your results are valid. You need to do this in the begining of the test during the control questions. They will ask you a few question and instruct you to lie or tell the truth so based on how the read out looks from that, they will know what to look for when they ask you a question when they don't know if you are lying or not. Say for example, they see a straight line when you tell the truth and a spike when you lie. They know that because they'll tell you (for example) to answer "yes" to a question like "the sky is green". Then they see a spike and know from then on, a spike=a lie. SO... If they ask you a question and instruct you to tell the truth in the begining, you need to make it look like a lie. A way to do this is inflicting pain on yourself, like suddenly biting hard on your tounge. This will up your physical response in a way that if you told the truth and relaxed then it would look different on the printout. So later when you tell the truth or lie, the print out is different then what they were looking for, and they have no idea if you are lying or not. I KNOW that was confusing and hard to follow, and I'm sorry. Basically just keep this in mind: in the begining when they are asking you easy simple questions before the real one, screw THOSE up by biting your tounge as you answer. Then the rest answer normally and lie if you want. It should end up inconclusive. It's your best bet.

With treatment it should clear up in a few days. Two weeks is far too long to make gone without seeing a doctor, even if you aren't sure what you have. It could spread into a kidney or bladder infection so you need to get antibiotics.

This might be kind of long. Sorry.
I got my first job not even a month ago. Maybe 3 weeks ago. I work about 2-3 times a week, making minimum wage. I'm 16, too, and have been for about 5 months, and I have my driver's permit. Today my mom told me (more like demanded..) that I was going to get my license by October 1st because she needs help and can't take me to work all the time. I don't want to do that because I calculated that at least 3/4 of my paychecks will go to HER for insurance. There are 4 expensive things I want to get first before I have to pay that much money to my mom (ipod, digital camera, digital video recorder, and laptop). The reason is because it would take me 3 times as long to save up for all of that if I have to pay my mom for insurance because of a license.
What do I do? She doesn't seem willing to compromise..and if she continues to force me to get my license, I may feel inclined to fail the driving test on purpose because my mom is not the only one wanting to save money. (link)

If you don't want to pay insurence then don't get you license, simple as that. You don't have to fail on purpose, just tell your mom that you can't afford it right now.

well im 16 years old...and for over a year i have been having problems with my breats...very bad sharp pains..not like those that happen when they grow and everything..but really painfully sharp pains...and i have a couple big lumps in my breasts...and they keep gettin bigger and bigger not real fast but slowly..im scared to talk to my mom about it..and im scared to make an appointment to find out..wat do i do!! I seriously doubt it's breast cancer, it's probably nipple development that is supposed to happen. Just make a GYN visit with your mother, there is no reason to be embarrassed.

my dad told me i have to get a job before i can get my license and a car. but the problem is i dont want a job and here lately he has been takin me to look at cars. i always try to tell him i dont want a job and hes like well i guess you wont be driving. but i dont understand WHY he wants me to get one, hes always tellin me about how if i want to go to my dream college (texas), well ANY college, then i have to get a scholarship. how in the world does he expect me to get one if im always going to be working? i play softball so of course i would have to probably quit just so i would have time to do my school work. i mean i have explained this stuff to him and he doesnt get it! i get out of school at 212 and practice starts at 230, and i dont get home til about 5, and i barely have time to finish my homework now!! and the last thing i wanna do is give up softball, but i want to drive WITHOUT a job!! can someone give me ideas on how to convince him?? Welcome to real life. It's all about trying to balance your responsibilities with work and extra activities. Plenty of people do this in high school, and yes, you will have to do it in college. And in your adult life. Your dad is trying to teach you how to balance appropriately with everything you have to do and want to do. You'll be able to do it if you try, trust me.

I am a 17 year old girl. I recently went on a cruise. On the cruise, I met a singer that performs on board the ship. He was so perfect. I'd sit in the front row, and he'd wink, smile, or raise his eyebrows at me. I am so shy, I never had the courage to say anything to him. All four of the people I went on the cruise with noticed how much this guy liked me...and it really stuck with me. No guy has ever really looked in my direction. If I were that guy and you did track me down, I would think you were a complete stalker. I don't mean to be rude but a little innocent flirting is really no big deal. If he were seriously interested, he would have come talked to you instead of just giving you the eye.

He does it to get attention from you, after just a few days he knows full well that you'll be back and he really isn't afraid anymore, he justs wants a reaction from mommy (much like a temper tantrum). You have to just let him cry, just drop him off with a kiss and an I love you and leave. It sounds harsh but the behavior shouldn't be enforced by any coddling. He'll stop soon enough (and you know what- every single child will stop within moments of mom walking out the door, it really is just a show).

I live in a one storey house. My family sleeps late and wakes up early. That's bad and I don't wanna have that kind of lifestyle. So whenever I try to sleep early, my parents(who arent asleep yet) will be watching tv and talking rather loudly. And when I try to sleep after all of them have slept, I'd be unable to sleep till late morning cos they'd all be up already. The sound of my dad's car driving off and the clanging of the pots and pans in the kitchen by my mum wakes me up in no time.
I feel really very frustrated. I told them to please keep it down. They'd try to be quiet for a few days but then their old habits kick in again after some time. So when I told them to keep it down again, they told me that I'm spoilt and told me to deal with it.
My eye bags are like so darn obvious and I feel so damn frustrated at being unable to sleep.
I've tried to not sleep for a whole day so that I'd be sleepy enough to sleep the whole day but it didnt work out. Its the noise that my family makes that keeps me up almost all night. I get only like 6 hr plus of sleep and tt's definitely not enough!
I used to be a heavy sleeper but I dun know why I've become such a light sleeper and that sucks. So now, I feel so paranoid to the extent that I dont dare to sleep for fear that my family members will wake me up with their noisiness.
THere's no point telling them to keep it down cos they'd just go back to their own habits again.
I'm desperate for a good night's sleep. Someone please help me. Tell me how to shut out their noisiness and be able to sleep like a dead man. (link)

I'm the same way! I am a very light sleep and very sensitive to sound, and noone in my home seems to care. This is what I did...In the summer months I keep a window unit air conditionar in my room, it drowns out all "uneven" sounds- like music, tv, phones ringing, and talking so I drift off to sleep and stay alseep. When this is not possible (like in the winter you certainly don't want to run an air conditionar) I have a sound machine that plays ocean waves, babbling brook sounds, crickets, ect and it too drowns out the other noise. You can buy them at any department store. Ear plugs may also help, although you may not hear your alarm clock.

okay, i have a question. So i've been dating someone for 4 years now. i, no questions asked, love him to death right. He was my first in everything but i wasn't his first in bed. After all these years he won't tell me who he first slept with. If i really think about it really it makes me a bit mad. He says he wants to at least keep something to himself. Do you want to know because you think it could be someone you know personally? I understand both sides of the situation, why he would rather not tell and why you are very curious, so it's a toughie. If it could be someone you know then I think he should tell you, because such relationship dynamics could change, and maybe they should change. If he assures you that it was no friend of yours and noone you could have ever really known, then I would just let it go.
