i think i have breast cancer
well im 16 years old...and for over a year i have been having problems with my breats...very bad sharp pains..not like those that happen when they grow and everything..but really painfully sharp pains...and i have a couple big lumps in my breasts...and they keep gettin bigger and bigger not real fast but slowly..im scared to talk to my mom about it..and im scared to make an appointment to find out..wat do i do!!

Sweety I know you are scared but you need to tell your mother what you have found and get an appointment made ASAP. Hopefully its something that is beign. But breast cancer is a very serious thing that if caught early has better rate of getting better. Its better to be safe then sorry. Because breast cancer doesn't discrimate ... it affects just as many young ladies as it does the older ladies.

You ned to talk to your doctor immediatley! That's sounds like the symptons, and you definitely need to talk to your mom. You're going to be scarred, that's obvious, but you need to for your own saftey, otherwise it will put yourself in danger and it may grow too intense adn it may threaten your life. I agree with the person below. Breast cancer can run in teens. Its rare but it CAN happen. I know its scary but it could be something serious and you dont want it to get any worse. Just tell your mom that they hurt and youve been having pains and want to get it checked out just in case. It could be something less scary, you never know. but just to be on the safe side I say that you should tell her. dont be scared! It's for your own good & health benefit.

Ok, you NEED to talk to your mom. It's probably nothing, a fatty lump or if it is a tumor it's probably benign...you're very young for cancer. BUT, it is POSSIBLE that you have cancer. You need to get it checked our ASAP, PLEASE!

I was 17 when a similar thing happened to me and it was terrifying. That being said, I went to the hospital for a biopsy and an ultrasound scan and it turned out it was just a fatty lump.
You say that your breasts are tender. Pain is not a very common symptom with breast cancer, so I doubt that is what it is, especially if you have had these symptoms untreated for a year.
I really don't think you need to worry too much about this but it is ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry so get yourself to a doctor for confirmation. They may want to do a biopsy and a scan but just grin and bear it because it doesn't last long.
Please do talk to your Mum about this. I know it's scary and I understand completely where you're coming from but it's much better to go through this with someone rather than alone so just take a deep breath and do it. It will be fine, I'm sure.

I seriously doubt it's breast cancer, it's probably nipple development that is supposed to happen. Just make a GYN visit with your mother, there is no reason to be embarrassed.

sometimes they can be lumps of fat but they should never GROW so if they are doing that, even if its a teeny bit you absolutely have have have have have have to go to the doctors. i mean people are getting treated for this stuff all the time now, so ou'll be able to get better treatment since theyre dealing with it so much more they know a lot more than they used to. you need to go to the doctors, and if you dont want to tell your mom, just say you think you should have a physical because you havent for a while and you want to make sure everythings ok. if she asks if anything particular is wrong, then TELL her because even though this could be a false alarm, would you rather be uncomfortable around a doctor, or have breast cancer??

You never know adn if you dont taslk to some one its gonna get scarier anywayz becuase of the pain and the looks and i thought i was gonna have to chop my thump off the other day because it was somthing like yours i ddint see a doctor for a week because i thought it was nothing but everyday it got bigger adn bigger adn it wouldnt stop but when i saw the doctor he said it moight just be dirt or somthing bit you but i know its adifferent story but take a chance go tot he doctors
