my lower left quadrant hurts very badly and i lost my voice. i think that i might have mono because some girls on my cheering squad has it, and my best guy friend had sex with someone who two days later caught deadly mono, and he was all over me and did not mention til later that he might be carrying mono. but i did not kiss him or sip off of his cup, yes he breathed on me, and so did one of the cheerleaders that has it. i'm scared that i have it and school is starting up tomorrow and i don't want to be absent the first few weeks of school. when i was little, my twin sister had mono and so did my older sister and i shared a roo with my twin and i still never got it. do you think i am immuned to it? or do you think i caught it when i w...

I'm 18/f and I am 5'10'' weighing about 165 lbs.
I've always had somewhat of an issue with my body. I have huge hips, and (not huge) but a pretty bigger than normal ass, and my breasts are DD's. I've got a definitely noticeable hourglass figure.
Over the years, I've randomly made myself throw up just because I felt like I ate too much. Just a few times. Nothing more.
Now it's becoming almost a regular thing. Whenever I eat something I know is healthy though, I won't throw it up and I make sure it's a normal-sized serving. But if it's like a cupcake, or something sweet, I go and throw it up. I feel an urge to do it, like if I don't my body will absorb it immediately and I'll get fat. So it's not w...

I am sorry to trouble you, but I really need to know how to tell if the eggs I have are safe to eat or not.
Can anyone tell me how to find out if your brand of eggs are being recalled?

Egg Recall: How Scared Should I Be?

I am worried about the egg recall. My family eats a LOT of eggs since we bake all our own bread and deserts and have full breakfasts every morning.
The news reports have us really scared.
Can anyone explain it to me in simple terms?

my close friend michael is always over my house and he had sex with a girl named raven who came down with deadly mono afterwards. he has never had mono and neither did i. do you think i could get mono from him? my sisters had it when they were little at the same time and i still never got it

16/f so ive been having sex lately i guess it has been pretty rough and like a couple times a week with my boyfriend but now my vagina is swollen like the lips and inside and kinda red and it itches SO BAD! and it hurts when i walk and stuff cause its so swollen. i dont know whats wrong and i dont know what to do! i have been icing it and it doesnt seem to be doing anything there is no abnormal dischanrge or anything but could it be a yeast infection? or is it an std?! i dont think my boyfriend has any but we dont use protection. please hepl me im in so much pain and uncomfortable i dont know what to do!

contagious warts

i have small warts under the skin on my middle fingers on both hands... i have a few questions if anyone can help...
I have been using bazuka and when i take it off every day it peels my skin off too. is this right and how do i know when its gone?
also my boyfriend is very weary of touching me now, when i have the bazuka on is it still contagious? and how at risk is he of catching them anyway?

hey my name is evan and im almost 16 years old. i've asked some questions on here before about my cancer. i went to the doctor the other day after completing chemo to deal with my skin cancer. i thought i was getting better but my doctor told me that my cancer has advanced to stage 4 and gotten worst. then he went in the hall with my parents and left me alone. after about half an hour my mom came back in crying and hugged me and kissed my head. i asked what the doctor said and she said not to worry about it and then we went home. im really scared. i dont know whats going on from here. im really worried the doctor said im dying. even my brother was really nice to me the last few days and we basically hate eachother. what do i do? i dont want...

Painful colored bumps on vagina.

About two days after my last period, I got a red bump on the right side of my vagina. A couple days after that, another red bump appeared right next to the other one. They hurt really badly, whenever my underwear shift or when my legs rub together. I'm a virgin, so there's no possibility of an STD or anything, but could I have an infection? What are these bumps and should I see a doctor?

Muscle problems

Hi, over the last couple of months I have been having weired problems with the muscles from the waist up but not my kneck and head.
If I am doing something, and other times not, I will hear a sort of click in one of these mucsles or around that area,all of a sudden I will be in agony from that area for a few days sometimes even a week then it will go away.
I can be fine a few days then it will happen again in a different place.
At the moment I am suffering from one of these spasms in my left side and to cough or lie on my side is agony, this morning it is happening in my middle back as well but not really bad.
I also suffer from OA and my medication is cocodamol 30/500 tramadaol 40 mgs and diclomax,I have been ta...

Ovarian Cysts?

This is a personal topic so I don't expect many to answer my question, but this goes out to any females who've had ovarian cysts. How did you find out? Did you have any symptoms? I just realized that it feels like I have a bruise on the right side of lower ab/hip.. pubic area perhaps. I'm not taking it seriously because it's the first time it has happened, and random pains always happen to me lol. Anyway, thanks in advance to everyone :)

i havent been well for a week now. first i got a badcold and then a inflammation of the middle ear (which is almost gone now)
and I didnt eat much cause i felt to weak to do anything. yesterday i only ate a cookie. this morning i ate two slices of toast, one with cheese and the other one with salami.
and a few minutes after i ate i began having a terrible stomach ache & i had to take a poop.
(this is a bit ambaressing) it was quite painful and when i whiped my butt i saw a bit of blood on the toiletpaper.
now im really scared. it stopped and my stomach ache is almost gone but im scared that its smth serious. i dont think i have hemroids & i dont have any other symtoms that cause anal cancer.
im just a bit worried. can it be smth else?

I went on vacation last week and in the airport on the way there and on the plane i felt a burning on my upper left by my ribs. It hasn't FULLY gone away but it wasn't as bad as it is now. Like, i could hang with my friends and forget all about it but then when i got home, it hit me like a ton of bricks. like it's not the worst pain, but it feels weird. I immediately thought i have mono until i remembered that i had it when i was younger. I have really bad anxiety and stress so my mom thought that it could be a stomach ulcer. i took two exlax's to see if i was just constipated, but i don't feel much different, although it helped somewhat, but i wouldn't say much. i keep on burping every hour and my bowls are fine.
