Yeah the stomach flu. I have had the happen and it's normal. Just brush your teeth and tongue really good. If you can handle mouthwash, try that too. Try not to laugh or anything, just lay down or take a long bath.

I dont know what these people below me are talking about...
When you have a stomach flu..the worst thing is dairy products. It doesnt help you, it makes your stomach worse. Eat light things like toast, or soda crackers for a while. And drink LOTS of water, or gingerale, or any liquid that sits well with you. Liquids are veryvery important. You dont want to get dehydrated and end up in the hospital with an IV in you.

And yeah, dry heaves are normal. Once you puke everything out, and your still sick, it feels like you have to puke but theres nothing to come out..so its just dry heaves..they are the worst.

I personally brush my teeth right after I throw up. Thats the best way to get the taste out of your mouth.

And for the sore muscles thing..I would just take it easy for a while until it goes away. Since you were probably using muscles that you dont use regularily while you were throwing up, they will be sore for a while. Take it easy, and get lots of rest.

well whenever i'm sick, after i throw up i brush my teeth right away. i think its just gross to eat food afterwards because it kind of mixes with the taste of vomit and i dont think anybody likes that taste!

after you brush your teeth drink flat coke, gatorade, like the person said below me milk, or water. the best thing however is tea, just add some honey to it and it'll coat your throat so its not sore.

you can also eat popsicles and ice cream to sooth your throat still, or suck on a cough drop.

sorry youre sick! :(

Pepsi or cocoa-cola is very good for you when you are sick so you should try drinking that, and trust me it helps. and if you can't get a taste to go away in your mouth try having a mint or brush your teeth because the tooth paste taste will change that

Hi,
Milk will probably help with the bad taste. When you throw up once, you get stomach acid, and the contents of your stomach coming up. Drinking some milk straight away (if you think it will stay down well enough) will mean that you won't end up with a REALLY sore throat after throwing up for several days.
After throwing up several times, (don't ask me why) I think that some of the vomit contains bile. That's probably what tastes so awful, and is hard to get the taste from your mouth. Milk!
Ice-cream (Peppermint is best) will probably soothe your stomach a bit, and it will also act like milk, which means if you eat some, then throw up, it should help allow the bad taste to be washed out of your mouth, and prevent the acid and bile from making your throat sore.

Sorry if the language was a bit blunt ^.-
Hope you're better soon
-K

See a doctor so they can get you some medicine to help this virus go away faster.
