when i do my crunches, i get headachs afterwards. whats up with that?

You may be doing them too fast and the sudden motion is causing the headache.

Also if you're doing them incorrectly, it will put a strain on your neck which will also cause a headache.

ok well im going to a pool party tomorrow at like 1 pm and its 9 pm now. so im 5 feet tall and a wopping 93pounds- i gained some wait over the summer. and so i have some binkinis but my fat rolls over them but i also have a 2 peice that covers my fat. the people going to the party are all major popular so should i wear the bikini or the other 2peice

At 5 feet, 93 pounds doesn't sound overweight. You may just need to do some toning exercises for that area. Since you're self-conscious about your fat, I would wear the two piece that covers it. That way you don't have to worry about being embarassed and you can enjoy your party.

oK..My mom and dad just split up about 3 months ago and like they decided to just get a divorce after the year ((im pretty sure)) so they are dating other ppl..and like this guy that my mom is dating..we have all thought they should date forever..but anywho..and so they went on there first date tonight and like i REALLY like this guy cuz hes really nice to my my sis and my MOM and like I feel like I'm not being right to my dad b/c i like this guy so much but i REALLY love my dad and so and I being not fair or right to my dad..HIGH rates for help!!!

It's hard dealing with your parents divorcing. However, since they both decided to date other people, I don't think it will matter to your dad if you like the guy your mom is dating. If it bothers you a lot, just tell your dad that even though you like the other guy, he (meaning your dad) is the only dad you want.

At restaurants - what is the accepted etiquette/percentage for tipping someone who you have an outside friendship with?

15% is the accepted percent for tipping. If the service is really bad, I tip lower, and for really lousy service, I won't leave anything. On the same coin, if I get great service and feel they went above and beyond the call of duty, I'll tip up to 25%.

ok... like i was supposed to get my period like last week. but ididn't yet. i have my doctors appointment september1. and my mom said that i have to tell tehm the truth of when i got it. but my mom like never believes me so she thinks i already got it but i never did. so like she said if i never got it. and i tell them that that they have to run tests on me. is that true? because i never did get it yet this month. and i am scared. like i got it in march. like don't say like "oh don't say that you are no0t on your origional track yet. but my mom doesn't believe thast happens. so like what should i do. im so confused. what are the tests.... and like i don't know. i am so confused. like i can't remember when my last period was so i can't tell them that. so.. what do i do?

Try to remember something that happened around the time of your period the last time. It'll help you get a general idea of when it came. If you had your period last month, count back 28 days from the day you were supposed to start this month and it'll tell you when you had yours last month.

Since your mom doesn't believe that you can still be irregular, have the doctor explain it to her. It's completely natural to have irregular periods at first and some women have them all their life. I'm 23 and my periods still come when they choose to, not when I expect them.

As for tests, they'll probably take a urine sample and maybe a blood sample so they can test your hormone levels. Some women have their hormones out of what which causes their periods to be irregular. If this is the case, they may put you on the pill to help regulate your hormones and your period.

We have mice, ants and rats in our house! My mommy just screamed because she saw a mouse in her closet! I'm deathly afaraid of mice and ants. Is there any way to ger rid of them? We've tried mouse traps and spray to kill ants but they keep coming back! What attracts an ant to a place? Sorry its kinda long but i need help and i rate!!!

For the ants, give the area a good thorough cleaning with bleach. When I moved into my new place, it had ants all over the kitchen counter. After trying several sprays, I finally took a bottle of bleach and scrubbed the counter with it several times. I haven't saw an ant since.

For the mice, try to figure out how they're getting into the house. Your dryer vent is a common culprit. Close up any holes that you can to prevent them from getting inside.

I'm not sure if there are any free programs but I did find a couple that do offer scholarships and financial assistance. Talk to your school guidance counselor. There may be government scholarships or grants that will help pay for the trip. Another option is to ask local businesses to sponsor your trip.

I dont want to sound like a jackass or anything, but why do most women (most being the ones that ive talked to on the subject taht are in HS or graduated around the 17-21 age range) not like birth control. Now it seems to me that birthcontrol isnt to bad at all, and that these women dont understand that seriousness of having a baby. Can someone pleas like to explain why someone would rather risk getting pregnant and having an unplanned baby or having an abortion, instead of takin a pill that would save you from alot of trouble.

As far as questions go, that actually wasn't that long. I agree with what you're saying in that the pills would protect them against pregnancy, but I also understand the other side of the issue.

I think with a lot of young girls, it comes from the fear of their parents finding the birth control and knowing they are having sex. Parents usually don't react well to finding out their little darling is having sex.

With the older ones, it may be the inconvenience or cost of birth control. As a former birth control user, I can say from experience that the pills are very easy to forget, not to mention are somtimes costly unless you get some sort of assistance. The ones I was on last were $35 a month. It may not seem like much to you, but to someone attending school full-time and depending on a minimum wage part-time job for money, they were expensive. If I was really tired or if I was sick, I forgot to take the pills.

With other forms of birth control such as condoms, they may feel that they take away the intimacy of the moment. Not to mention, many women are allergic to latex or the lubricants used in comdoms. Some of it may also come from their partner's wish to go "bare". They give in on the issue rather than fight with their partner.

Hey, I’m usually the one giving advice. I don’t need advice. I just have a question and I want to know your opinion. This question is for deep thinkers. Long answers are encouraged as well as comical ones.

I’ve seen quite a lot of “love” questions, asked by adolescences. What would you call "true love"? Many people have been saying “I have a boyfriend and I REALY love him” and “she said that he loves me” or things like that. I’ve seen these questions being asked by 13 year olds! Teens DO have deep affections for people, but I really don’t think that they are capable of TRUE love. How can there be love if teen relationships only last 2 months or even 2 years! 2 years is quite long for a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, but shouldn’t love last a LIFETIME? I agree that teens think that they are in love (I’ve been there) but I wouldn’t call that love. I would call it more like, “deep affection”. After all, if love between teens is really “love” then they shouldn’t break up, right? I think that teens are too young and “unexposed” to have TRUE LOVE. Even adults. They mistakenly call their relationships “love”. If it was actually love, then shouldn’t there be less or no divorces?

I agree, with most of that anyway. It seems to me that too many times, people call their emotion "love" when it's actually "like", "lust", "friendship" and companionship" that they are experiencing. I'm not saying that someone can't love simply because they are 13. I feel that love can come at any age.

I also don't believe that there is a specific amount of time in which to fall in love. I've saw people that were together several years before they felt love. On the other hand, I met my husband in December and we married in April.

I think we're all seeking that one "true love", the love that lasts forever. I think the problem is that most people get impatient and settle for what they believe is "true love" rather than wait for the real thing.

I am in love with my best friend's ex-boyfriend. I have been for quite sometime. We flirt a lot and everything,but I guess he sees me as just a really good friend. I have helped him through so many problems throughout his relationship my w/ my best friend. Now they have broken up, and I want him. But I can't. He is still in love with her, and two of my other good friends have a crush on him. One claims she loves him, but she doesn't know him like me, she doesn't look at him like I do, she doesn't see what I see. I want him so bad, its like un bearable. But for the longest time, I've been just a friend.I want that to change, but it can't. Unless I want to loose 3 of my friends. (It is a rule of ours that no one can date and ex unless its been many years). I have one more problem, I just recently got a boyfriend, I like him A LOT, and I think about him more than any other guy (besides the one we are talking about), but I guess I just can't get the other one out of my head. I know this probably isn't the answer you were looking for but here goes.

I think it would be a mistake for you to go for this guy. You yourself said that he's still in love with your friend which means he's not ready to get into another relationship yet. If you try to get him, you run the risk of getting rejected, as well as ruining friendships and your relationship with your current b/f.

Hello, I play the cello, and a few months ago, for a school chamber orchestra I was in, I had to play the march from Carmen. It was really fun, I even took the liberty of memorizing it. OKay I know there's a lot of questions like these, but I really need your absolute HONEST opinion about what I should do.

Me & this kid named Joshua met in May, and we've been very close since, we started dating the day we met because we had a lot in common, and we straight off the bat liked each other. We dated for about two months, until he broke up with me because he had feelings towards another girl. Which I was okay with, because I knew he'd come to me, our relationship was just too strong to be friends. We dated, again - I took him back because I just really liked him (not loved.)

In about July I started having extreme feelings for Joshua, he made me so happy, I thought maybe I was falling in love? I was really unsure, so we were still dating, & he broke up with me again, and he didn't tell me why. Then we dated AGAIN & I broke up with him because I thought I felt feelings towards my best guy friend. Now we're just pretty good friends, we talk a lot, & I just found out that while we were dating, he was telling his best girl - friend that he loved her, and calling her baby. That makes me extremely mad, because he's hurt me so much & I've never done anything like this to him before.

My question is: Should I still remain friends with him?? I don't think I'd ever be able to date him again. But he hurt me so many times in the past, I'm just unsure. If you were in my situation would you be friends with him, or would you never talk to him, again?

I would date him again. It seems to me that Joshua has a problem with commitment which is only going to lead to heartache if you keep taking him back. If you feel that can be friends with him without emotions getting involved, I see no reason why you can't still be friends with him. If you don't think you can leave emotions out of the friendship, I wouldn't try it.

I would suggest taking a break for a while so you can deal with your feelings. Right now you're too raw to deal with a friendship with him, especially since you don't feel like you can trust him. Even a friendship must have trust.

Alright.. so there's this kid.. and i was going out with him, and i liked him a lot.. except he got mad at me a lot because i was doing stuff with my friends, and not him. so we fought a lot, but i still really liked him. I know you probably don't want to hear this but you need to kick this guy to the curb. He seems like he's controlling since he expected you to ditch your friends. He obviously has no respect for you or your feelings. It doesn't seem to me that he cares very much about you since he's talking to two other girls.

I know it hurts right now but trying to get him back, even if you do manage to, is only going to lead to heartache. Spend time with your friends. Take some time to let your heart heal. For revenge, let the other girls know that he's a cheater. You deserve a lot better than a guy like this one. Just be patient. Your Mr. Right will come along when you least expect it.

Hey. I'm 13/female. See, my mom just sent me to go live with my dad who.. well he hits me a lot, and sometimes he touches me in places that..ehh your father shouldn't go. And yes, my mom does know this, she just doesn't want me and my sister living with her full time. I cant tell the police because im the only person he does stuff to and it owuld kill my sister and step-family if he were put away... and the would all hate me. I know it is hard, but you do need to tell someone. Chances are if he's doing it to you, he's probably doing it, already done it, or will be doing it to others.

If your mom does not want to have you and your sister in her home full-time, then she has a responsibility to find you a SAFE place to go. A situation where you are dealing with abuse, both physical and sexual, is not safe.

You need to tell someone to not only protect yourself against this abuse, but also prevent him from doing it to someone else, maybe even someone you care about. Most sexual abusers will keep doing it over and over again until someone stops the circle of abuse.

Please tell someone about your father's abuse. Any form of abuse can have life-long scars, both physical and emotional, if help isn't found.

If him smoking weed bothers you that much, simply ask him to please not do it around you. I have friends and family who do things that I don't agree with. I know better than to think they're going to change just to please me so I asked them to keep it away from me. For me, it's easier to deal with if I don't have to see it right in front of my face.
