We have mice, ants and rats in our house! My mommy just screamed because she saw a mouse in her closet! I'm deathly afaraid of mice and ants. Is there any way to ger rid of them? We've tried mouse traps and spray to kill ants but they keep coming back! What attracts an ant to a place? Sorry its kinda long but i need help and i rate!!!
mystical_breeze answered Sunday August 21 2005, 1:51 pm: Call the animal control. Look in your phone book for a place near your house that can come as soon as possible. Mouse traps-- ick! Just get it done by calling the animal control and you won't have to deal with mouse traps and stuff. [ mystical_breeze's advice column | Ask mystical_breeze A Question ]

After trying several sprays, I finally took a bottle of bleach and scrubbed the counter with it several times. I haven't saw an ant since.
For the mice, try to figure out how they're getting into the house. Your dryer vent is a common culprit. Close up any holes that you can to prevent them from getting inside. [ ncblondie's advice column | Ask ncblondie A Question ]

Alpha345 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 10:37 pm: You need to contact a pest control agency and see what they can do to purge the house of the mice and ants.
Both ants and mice are attracted to bits of food left on the ground for extended periods of time. You might see if there is any food left scattered around the house.
But your absolute best bet is to call some kind of exterminator. It isn't at all that expensive and it doesn't take much time at all. That would be your best bet.
I hope this helps and you get that pest problem under control!
emster812 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 10:36 pm: Well, they are all mainly attracted to food (all are actually). If it has rained a lot where you live the past few days ants come up and look for a dry home.
Try calling up an exterminator from the yellow pages. I dont know about mice you could look up something called Rat and Mice control in the pages also.
Good Luck!

With your case, it really sounds like you need to call in an exterminator, though since you can't get rid of them on your own.
