Bit by something I can't see - dust mites?

I recently moved and i'm getting bit by something I can't see. There was an old carpet and I first believed that dust mites were infested in the carpet. I replaced the rugs and thought that would be the end of it but I'm still getting bit. As soon as I turn off all lights they attack. I KNOW it's not bed bugs or roaches (unfortunately I have experienced both). How can I get rid of these monsters? They're driving me crazy.

Okay, I'm from Vietnam, and we have this housemaid, and it's impossible to fire her right now, but she can't seem to listen. She likes to do everything her own way, cleans only what the eye can see, does not listen when is told what to do, and is disgustingly lazy. She's about 50 y/o. Even when we say her salary will be cut down, she doesn't change at al! What must I do?

How to clean an antique upholstered chair?

I recently nabbed a "free" chair from the curb, however, not before it got rained on, once. So since drying it out, I have noticed that the dye from the "embroidered" flowers in the upholstery has bled all over the seat, so obviously, I can't clean it with water, but it's very dirty, and there's a large stain on the front of the back. Does anyone know how I could safely clean this old chair without completely ruining it? Thank you in advance!

I been having this sort of problem after my first period everything change my discharge start smelling like pee i think it because i use summer eves soap when i first got my period (i dont no more) or when i use scented pads (i dont no more) my period brown and smell like pee to this is stressful i tryed everything everyone can smell me for a person that showers everyday or sometimes twice a day and i dance sometimes i dont wanna go to dance because i smell i told my mom to take me to the doctors but my medi wasnt working at that time i feel sad,nasty,dirty,stink,punnish and ....... Please help me this is not a joke i was thinkiing of killing myself because i was getting mess wit

URGENT TOLIET HELP!!

my mom flushed the toilet and broke the handle and it has split, there is no chain....of course she blames me but she had a stroke and she doesn't remember like she used too..anyway, is there anyway the handle can be replaced by a nonprofessional without having to replace the entire toilet and overpay a plumber? thanks

I have a swarm of fruit flies in my kitchen and I don't know how to get rid of them! I tried putting out a cup of cider vinegar yesterday..... the flies are buzzing around it but won't actually go into the vinegar.

I can never find anything in my room! I have dance the day after and I can't find my dance clothes and I swear I saw them in my drawer! Sometimes, I even lose my homework when I could've sworn I put on my desk! My parents keep getting mad at me, telling me to be more organized and all but I can never find the time to do so and my room is such a mess now that I'm afraid it's too late to turn back. Do you have any ways of helping me tidy my room? Or perhaps about not losing everything all the time?? I try, I really try to put things in their places but for some reason, I can never find them again! I never even touched my dance clothes, they were sitting in their typical place in my drawer but now I can't find them... Any help about this would be greatly appreciated!!

Proven Tips to Get Rid of Spiders

Hello,
We just moved to a new ground floor apartment. There is a terrace and a hedge which attracts a lot of unwanted wildlife.
Does anyone know any proven tips to get rid of spiders? People tell me just to get used to them because they eat other insects, but I really don't like walking and being caught up in webs, or spiders the size of my fist running across the floor.
I've read citrus, mint, lavender etc oils, but does anyone have any tried and tested things? These oils can be pretty pricey so don't want to keep getting things that don't work.
I should add that the apartment itself is very clean and uncluttered.

I Used Windex On Popcorn Maker!

I have a small plasic popcorn maker. I was cleaning it but I forgot you can not use Windex or any other cleaners like that because it will ruin the oil finish on the plastic. Is there any way to tell if I ruined it, and if I did, can I fix it?
My mom said if it's ruined I have to buy a new one and I don't exactly have money, so any input is helpful...

How do I get my BF to stop helping me clean?

I do basically all the housework - which I am totally okay with. I don't resent my boyfriend at all that I do all the day to day cleaning. He's not a lazy guy or anything, and there are lots of reasons our lives work out that way right now. If things change in the future and I'd like him to take more on, I'll talk to him about it.
But right now, I really, truly am happy just like this.
My problem is that when jobs require his input, or when he gets an attacks of the guilts and forces himself to help, he complains a whole lot. He gets cranky, he swears, he gets frustrated. There is always some sort of stupid drama about something. It's not that he cares about how the cleaning is done, it just puts him in a bad m...

I live in an apartment complex, and the apartment above mine decided to overload their washer, causing massive leaking from my ceiling. I have come to notice than when my one year old son and I are home, we are very congested, but when we leave, within minutes, our noses are clear and we can breath just fine again. I have spoken to the maintenance man about the possibility of their being mold, but EVERY time I bring this up "Oh you don't know what mold looks like. It ain't mold" I had lived in an apartment before this one, where there was NO ventilation system installed in the restroom, and yes, I dealt with black mold before. I know what it looks like, and what effects it has on me. I was mostly wondering, what organization would...
