I Used Windex On Popcorn Maker!

I have a small plasic popcorn maker. I was cleaning it but I forgot you can not use Windex or any other cleaners like that because it will ruin the oil finish on the plastic. Is there any way to tell if I ruined it, and if I did, can I fix it?

My mom said if it's ruined I have to buy a new one and I don't exactly have money, so any input is helpful...

If it dries and it isn't damaged the next day, it should be okay. Wash it with a food-safe cleaner to remove the Windex residue, and it should work as normal.

Ask your mom what cleanser to use :)
