ive had my belly button pierced for a while now...5 months...i want to change the belly button ring but i am afraid if i take this one out, i cant put another one in. should i just take my new belly button ring to the piercing place and have them take it out???
Did they tell you when you could switch the ring? Or if you can even do it?
I would go back and ask, I wouldn't try to take it out yourself if you're unsure.
**EDIT**
Because it's probably not safe for you to do it. Have them take it out and replace it.

me and my boyfriend want to do things but we can't because our parents our always home. the only time we did fool around was at my house but it was like 3 in the morning and they were sleeping...i was nervous the whole time though cause i felt like they were gonna catch us. were both 17 so we can't get a hotel. and a car isn't really the best place cause like where would we park it? itd be sketchy...so does anyone know any places we can go? or anything we can do about that whole parent situation?
Have you tried at his house?
I don't condone sneaking around your parents, but if you're going to do it, I can't stop you.
It sounds like the only time you can do it is at night.

i really like the mac book laptops because you can ichat and stuff and i think its really cool..but i also like the dell ones too (the colored ones) can you ichat on a dell? which one should i get?
You can't iChat on anything except a Mac.
If the Dell has a webcam built in, then you can chat with other people who have webcams.
I would just get a Mac because Dells are pieces of crap. My family's gone through like three of them, and they all end up dying and being really terrible.

My best friend just lost her favorite aunt to breast cancer, she knew it was coming but we thought it would be be a year.
My best friend is an amazing girl and she does so much for everyone else; she is the girl that holds you as cry then goes and cries alone in the bathroom. She is amazing and nothing is ever about her, it is about everyone else. She has been a breast cancer advocate ever since her aunt was diagonosed; she buys anything supporting the cause, donates as much as she can and does all the walks.
Her birthday is next week and Iwas planning on scheduling us to get massages together (we are very active and stressed hugh school seniors) but now I am thinking about doing something in honor of her aunt, but I can't think of anything. My budget is $50 but I am willing to do more for a really good idea. So does anyone have a really good idea? =D
Peace and love :)
~Kate
I bet if you went with her to somewhere where you could donate to the Breast Cancer cause, and gave that $50 to the cause, that would make her happy.
Then, you could go out for lunch or something, go to the park, or just hang out and have fun.
If you made the monetary focus toward the breast cancer fund, your friend would probably really appreciate that, especially if she is all for devoting herself to other people.

hey i need your help.this is going to be kind of long.but here i go:
So i met this girl, emily, ok at a picnic, our parents are family friends. Emily is 2 years older than me but we became friends right away.
She also has a brother, Adam, who is in the same grade as me, 9th. Soo i got her number and adams email on the day of the picnic.Soo me and emily talked on the phone everday and we were so close. I also talked to Adam online every once in a while. We were so bored online one day when he asked me to call him. So i agreed and i did.We saved each others numbers and text meseged each other and over time we became pretty good friends.Emily did not know about any of this; especially because she would be soo angry because in the picnic, when i would talk to him, she would be pissed.Soooo time went by and i saw her a lot, and i saw him occasionally when i'd go over her house. Last week he called me, and he asked me out. I told him i wasnt sure and id think about it. I thought about it for a few days and i called him back. I told him we can try it, but if it doesnt work we would just be best friends again. Soo about 2 days after that he traveled with his family on vacation. We email each other occasionally but im going there in 2 days so i will be able to see them. But here is my problem: today, i was talking to emily online, and she was being very mean and cold. When i told her i mssed her she'd say things like: oh is that why you dont send me messages and you send mssgs to other people?. I was soo scared..that she had found out something about me and adam. She kept asking me if i wanted to tel her something..and i kept saying no.
I mean she would be really angry if she found out. But, i mean me and adam arent officially going out, soo i can keep playing stupid and in the end when she tells me ill just say that were just friends..is that ok u think? plz give me good advice im really scared rigth now, and if you were in my position wat would you do.thanks soooo much hun
Friendship is about honesty. When she asks if you have something to tell her, be honest. She's looking for you to be honest, and if you aren't going to be, it's going to hurt her more than just telling her.
Naturally, she's going to be upset that her friend likes her brother and is getting close to her brother. That will pass.
Talk to her and be honest with her. Lying isn't going to get you anywhere.

So everyone has heard of the whole, "u never forget your first" thing when talking about losing their virginity, and how one can get emotionally attached or make the feelings grow even more. Can anyone who really knows exactly what I'm talking about tell me if that's only true with girls, or if guys can feel the same thing? Me and my boyfriend for six months just had sex for the first time and i find myself thinking about him a lot more and my feelings for him have grown so much. I know i can just ask him, but is it just as possible for him to feel the same way, or is that just a female hormonal thing?
It depends on the person. You can't really make a generalization about guys and girls.
Personally, I'm a virgin, and so I don't know the feeling since I'm waiting for marriage.
But I've heard this is a common feeling, depending on how sentimental you are.

with girls i go out with i always am afraid to hold their hands or do anything like that and my girlfriend dumped me just today because of it i really liked her and she was really nice to me and i liked her alot
i guess she just got tired of me being like that
oh i am talking to her now she said it seemed like i ignored her so now i feel like rubbish because i made her feel that way
so does anyone have any tips for being less fridget and being able to show my feeling a bit better
Back when I was your age, which wasn't long ago, I was, and I still really am, the same guy as you.
I was afraid to hold hands and do anything because I wanted things to be perfect and I didn't want to mess anything up.
That's ALRIGHT! So a girl broke up with you because of it. Well screw her! She broke up because you were uncomfortable with holding hands, so it's her loss as far as I'm concerned. I've had girls break up with me for not being physical enough. It sucks, I get it. But you have to move past it and realize that it doesn't matter what she thinks.
Just know that one day you'll find a girl who likes you for everything you are.
Don't change yourself; it isn't worth it. You don't have to show your feelings through holding hands; that's ridiculous. Show your feelings by doing sweet things for a girl.

Hello, school will be starting soon and i really wanna b in good shape! I need to lose about 10-15 lbs. does anybody have any idea how i can do this within 7 to 10 days?
You should only be losing about 2-3 pounds per week, meaning your goal is VERY unrealistic.
It's unhealthy to lose the weight you want to lose.
Eat a balanced diet, getting all your needed nutrients, drink a lot of water, and exercise.

why shouldn't a 14 year old get her nose pierced
The only reason I can see is that their parents don't want them to.
I'm not sure what the legal age is, or if there even is one.

Later in life, I aspire to open a cake bakery. I love jazz and will always have it playing and would like to incorporate it in the name. I was thinking 'The Harlem Bakery' like Harlem Jazz, but my boyfriend said, "It reminds me of black people." Lol. And also, "It sounds like you are in New York, when you're not." Which I won't be, I'll open it in Portland. But last night I came up with Come Rain or Come Shine Bakery, a Billie Holiday song that is the song my boyfriend and I will have our first dance to in the wedding.. Sorry it's so long, thank you!
I love your idea.
It's catchy, so go with it! =]

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months. Before we started dating, we were really good friends, but about 4 months after we started dating I got really bored with him. He is also REALLY obsessed with me and I still want to be his friend which is why I haven't broken up with him. However, in a month we are going to New Jersey together because his parents invited me. They paid for the extra hotel room and everything for me already. I want to break up with him but I don't know if I should do it before I go on vacation with him, or after. Thanks for any help you can give me ♥
It would be wrong of you to hold onto the relationship while you weren't still "in love" with him.
Even though they already paid, they might still be able to get the money back, since it's a month in advance.
I would end the relationship if you're unhappy.

I have a profile on Facebook and under my friend suggestions is this guy that I went to school with since pre-k to 8th grade. Ever since I first saw him in pre-k I thought that he was really cute. We became not so much friends but in between acquaintances and friends. The entire time I went to school with him everyone thought that I had a huge crush on him, but I only thought that he was cute. I dont know if I should be friends with him or not. Im afraid to ask him to be my friend because Im afraid that he will say no. And if he says yes Im afraid that my schoolmates will make fun of me again for being in love with him. Im friends with all my schoolmates so its hard sometimes. I would ask my best friend but he's her ex,so I cant. Anyway and suggestions to what Im dealing with can help. Thanks and please help me.
Just ask him to be your friend. There's really no big deal in adding him. It's just Facebook.

Please Check out my webpage and let me know what ya think! and any ideas! its http://somhelpfullhints.weebly.com/some-helpful-hints.html
I think you should make a point to capitalize each sentence. It would look more professional.
Check again for spelling errors.
And I like the first columnist's idea. Try that out.
I like your website, it's very helpful.

what does it mean when someone says im wearing my heart on my sleeve or anything like that? like just the whole meaning of "heart on my sleeve?" please help thanks
It means that everything you do shows your emotion, like, if I wore my heart on my sleeve, everyone knows the type of person I am; it's almost like a physical trait that everyone can see.

No matter what the hour, after making out with my girlfriend I'm always very tired after. As far as my body goes I'm okay but my eyes are all heavy and such and I have that feeling of fatigue. Does that happen to anyone else? Awhile later it goes away.
Hmm, maybe your body just reacts that way?
Maybe making out with your girlfriend has gotten boring to you? Talk to your girlfriend about doing different things.
Maybe it means nothing at all?

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up quite soon. And I'm not sure what to get him. We've been dating for almost 9 months. He plays the guitar, and he also likes playing xbox live and such. He's a fan of Georgia Tech, but he's not like obsessive about it. Oh, and he plays and really likes to watch baseball. I don't have a lot of money, but could anyone give me any sort of idea of what to get him? My budget is probably 100 dollars. Help ? :D
I like the gift card idea.
Money would be fine, too, because then he can get himself what he wants.
Maybe you could buy him the music to some of his favorite band's songs, so he could play them on guitar? Like the sheet music.

I have liked this one boy for almost 9 months and i'm almost over him. The problem is that my heart doesnt want to let go but my head does. What should I do?
Have you tried a relationship? Did it not work out? Does he not like you?
If you haven't tried the relationship, I would try it out and see where it goes.
The best way to get over him, well, is to get over him.
Go out and hang out with friends, have fun, go crazy [within reason], and just forget about him, and you'll get over him.

Is it just me or is it weird that my husband who is 31 years old sits on his mothers lap when we go to visit, or cuddles up next to her on the couch?
Maybe its just me, but i find it odd that a 31 year old would even want to do that. I mean I feel like maybe he does this because of unresolved issues from his childhood.
Unless I'm wrong, and this is completely normal and I just have no feelings.
I think that's odd. I can't even imagine what that would be like.
I agree that there's some sort of weird bond between them.
I mean, I guess it's good that he loves his mother?

I am going into eighth grade this coming school year and I can either go to a school where my beach house is while my house gets redone (I am going to be living in my beach house either way) or go to the school in the town i am in now, 30 min away from my beach house. i dont have many friends but i am starting to make some. i dont know which school to go to. advice??
If you're starting to make friends, I would stay there, because it's a good indication that you'll make more.
