There's a chance you'll regret it. Chances are you might not still want it in a year & it'll be a waste of money.
Only add something to your body if you're sure you still want it a long while down the road. Another thing is that your parents may not want you to get it. So if mom & dad say no, then that's that.
Also, most places have the age limit of 16 to be pierced (even with parental consent) so you may not be able to get it done anyways.

The only reason I can see is that their parents don't want them to.
I'm not sure what the legal age is, or if there even is one.

There's no reason why you shouldn't get one, unless your parents disagree. I got my nose piercing when I was 14 years old. Now I'm 15 1/2 and I still love it. Don't worry about regretting it because you can easily just take it out and the hole will close. But I will warn you, it does tend to hurt (for some) when you get it done. When I got it done..it hurt a little bit..but it wasn't anything too bad. My friends also got it done, they never cried at all. But everyone's pain tolerance is different. For the first few days, it will be sore. But it's a good piercing to get :D and very cute.
