Birthday present?

Question Posted Thursday July 23 2009, 4:02 pm

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up quite soon. And I'm not sure what to get him. We've been dating for almost 9 months. He plays the guitar, and he also likes playing xbox live and such. He's a fan of Georgia Tech, but he's not like obsessive about it. Oh, and he plays and really likes to watch baseball. I don't have a lot of money, but could anyone give me any sort of idea of what to get him? My budget is probably 100 dollars. Help ? :D

Do not get him a giftcard, that's a bad idea. This is your boyfriend, you can do better than that.

If he's really into baseball and you've got that much money to burn, you should buy him a personalized team jersey. Take whatever his favorite team is, and then make the name on the back his last name and his favorite number.

It's all right around 100 bucks. Be sure you have the right team though... as an Indians fan, I wouldn't be caught dead in a Red Sox jersey no matter what the name was on the back.

I like the gift card idea.

Money would be fine, too, because then he can get himself what he wants.

Maybe you could buy him the music to some of his favorite band's songs, so he could play them on guitar? Like the sheet music.

When I was going out with my ex boyfriend, for his birthday, I was planning on getting him an engraved guitar pick. [not one he can use, since it would probably break the strings haha] but on to maybe put on a necklace or just fro display, to know its always there, yuh know ? that would be a cute idea and it's not alot of money at all.

or you can just go to your local music store, see if they have any silver or metal picks then you can go to a store and get it engraved.
other ideas could be like, buy him a movie, maybe a favorite one of his, and then get some popcorn and candy and snacks and have a movie night with him :] i did that one time, my ex loved it :] haha boys love food and then you could like engrave a frame with a picture of you and him in it on the side [or mabe make a mixtape]
anyways, hope i helped, have fun :] ! and if you need anything else, feel free to inbox me :] xxo.
