Okay, well.. I've known this kid for like, ever! Since he moved here. And I was his FIRST friend when he moved up here. Well, anyways.. I liked him when I was little. But then I thought, that's kinda weird cause he's my best friend..So then I just started to like him this year. And, I tried to get over him, but I can't. What's your advice for me? What should I do???

I'm going to be a junior in high school this coming year. I'm starting to search for colleges. I plan on majoring in psychology and I'd like to find a college in Virginia or around D.C. How to I find the right college for me? What sort of things do I look for? Thanks in advance!

im so scared, okay in a few months im getting a tonsiectimy(sp?) im getting my tonsils out. and im going to be on my period during it!! im really secretive about my periods..can they operate on me while im on it? i have to get anisteshia(sp?) that will put me to sleep

i think i have artheritis in my arm. what sign should i be aware of. i know that its something to do with the joints and thats were the pain is..it happens anytime i lift something or add a little pressure to it. am a too young to have artheritis?? 13//totally FEMALE

im not sure but it could just be that you pinched a nerve or you pulled a muscle really hard. you should talk to your docter about it.

ok... well im trying to lose weight... by doing crucnches... and running and working out and stuff. i heard my boobs will get smaller. so is there any foods that makes your boobs big?

it wont make you boobs smaller lol. and no there are no foods that make your boobs bigger. you cant control wat you body does. just keep doing what your doing. and just for a tip: swimming is the best exersize you can get. hope it helped you.

My boyfriend and I broke up a little more than 2 months ago, and about a week ago he told me that he still loved me and could never bare to tell his mom we broke up because it would make it "real." I told him that i still love him too, and, even though we had gone back to being best friends after we broke up, now that we both admitted to still liking eachother we have barely talked or anything. I'm starting to worry our frienship is falling apart, which is more important to me than ANYTHING. Is there any way i could make a move to tell him we're still OK and nothing's changed, anything u guys think will help...or, more importantly, any reason this has happened?

ok, if you still love eachother nothing should stand in the way of that and if you dont make a move your really gonna regreat it. alright, i think you should call him and say something like look, i know that you still like me and i still like you but i dont want that to ruin our friendship. i mean, we can still talk right? say something like that.

ok im 13 years old and a girl and my sister just got me this baby-sitting job. Its for a 8 or 9 year old i dont know if its a boy or girl though she hasnt told me. I may be completely over-reacting, but I really need some advice on this;

I'm thirteen, and I started smoking a few months ago... at first it was only a fag or two when I was around friends, but now its almost like I need a few cigarettes to calm me down just so I can start studying... not just around my mates and stuff..

Problem is; I've started to get some pain in my chest, and I've let myself get into a panic by reading that section on a ciggie packet about health hazards over and over again...

and now I'm afraid I may be sick... like i said, I may be over reacting... but I'm panicky... I don't want to die, my parents are doctors!

I can't tell them, I'll get into so much trouble... and after they send me for a check up, and if the results turn up fine, then I'll want to smoke again- but they'll confiscate the pack from me... and I won't be able to... Honestly, I have so much going through my head right now, I CAN'T STOP SMOKING, BUT I CAN'T DIE EITHER??

What should I do?!

i think you should really stop smoking first of all. i mean your teeth get yellow, your lungs get all icky, it get hard to breath, you get lots of rinkles, and then you die. whats fun in that? well, i dont think your sick but its stil not healthy. if you have a craving then go outside and take a jog or eat some licorish...

its ok for you to miss him bc you love him. but if you get TOO atached to him and you guys have probems then your gonna be extremely sad. you dont want to mope around for the rest of you life do you? well, i think that you should do something while your missing him. like, go see a movie, or go for a bike ride or jog. any of those things to get your mind off of him. good luck and feel free to ask anything else.

Hey. Im 11 years old . and im a girl. Im scared about getting my period.. in 5 grade.. that just ended some girls starting getting there periods. And im scard!
I heard it hurts and stuff
and i dont want to use tampons what if the string came off.. and i have to use tampons to go swimming the pad would come apart..

alright it doesnt hurt that much. its just that you get cramps. but they go away. and tampons arnt as bad as they sound so dont worry about it. you'll do just fine...rember that every girl has to go through with this.

I've been tweezing my eyebrows for a while now but it's getting too difficult to find a shape I like. Today I'm going to get them waxed but I'm nervous. Will it hurt alot? Will I be really sore afterwards? Do the people who do it find the shape they like for you?

ok the first time is always the hardest. it hurts for like...2 secs and then they put this lotion stuff on it so its nice and smooth and doesnt hurt anymore. and it soooooo much eaiser than tweezing bc its fast. and yes they find really nice shapes for you.
