SuraBaby answered Thursday July 21 2005, 12:44 pm: if it's pinkeye you usually have goopy stuff comin out of your eye...there are two kinds, viral and bacterial. The doctor should perscribe eyedrops if you do have it, but then again it might just be from your contacts. Maybe they're irritaing your eyes. Sometimes, if you dont wash your hands before you put your contacts in it could cause pinkeye. If you pull your bottom lid down it would be really red if you did have it...hope i helped

VixenDark answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 8:12 am: Go to the doctor. And don't wear your contacts. Throw away the ones you have now. If you have pink eye, they may be infected.
karenR answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 12:30 am: Don't wear your contacts. Pink eye (conjunctivitis) will have to be treated with a med from your doctor. Type conjunctivitis into your browser for more in depth info. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

anne_givings answered Monday July 18 2005, 6:28 pm: use eye drops (not for contacts- just regular stuff) it doesnt always make it less red but it gets rid of most itching and makes it heal quicker! try wearing your glasses and NOT itching it. that should help
i hope you feel better,

x0julie answered Monday July 18 2005, 6:27 pm: Pinkeye is known as conjunctivitis. If you have this, then you should apply a warm compress to your eyes for 5 to 10 minutes about 3 times a day. It should make you feel a little better. You should also remember to keep your eyes and eyelids clean by using a cotton ball dipped in sterile water to wipe any crusts away. A lot of times conjunctivitis gets better by itself though. If any crusts continue to build up, try making a solution of baby shampoo and warm water to clean off your eyelashes. The water should loosen the crust and the shampoo cleans off the junction of your eyelid and eyelash. If it turns out that you don't have pinkeye, then these remedies should still help the itching. I hope I was some help. I hope you get better soon, for your eyes' sake! [ x0julie's advice column | Ask x0julie A Question ]
