I've seen the movie twice now. But I'm really curious at the end of the movie when she sees the killer who is he? is it her father? thanks if you can help.

It was a random creep. I recommend you see the original movie from the 70's with Carol Kane (Who was actually the grandmother in the Addams Family movies)

All the guys in my grade tell me I have no butt. Can someone please help me? What jeans do I wear that show a flattering butt? and what work out things can I do to make my butt be an actual butt. I NEED HELP I'M DESPERATE. PLEASE. thank you!!!

One of the Public Enemies of females- the dreaded glutes.

My first piece of advice would be to just kick the guys who tell you that right in the nuts :-) lol

There are 2 essential exercises for glute building- the first and best is lunges; the second is squats.

What is the point of dropping a huge ball in New York worth thousands or millions of dollars? What does it symbolize? Whats the history of it? Thanx
-anohome-

From someone who is born and raised in NYC-

Because we are New York City

This city is the symbol of American financial power and the "American Dream"

Times Square is one of the most gorgeous places in the world- especially at night

Because we are New York City and there is no better place in the world to have anything major occur- Come one day and see for yourself; you will not be disappointed and you will see what I am talking about..its the place to be!

Even though it's not quite a topic of advice-giving, shall we say, I think we should add a topic of discussion about the war...yea? Nay? Just a thought.

Advice on that would be simple-

-Watch the Fox News Channel

-Don't read the Washington Post or the NY Times

-Don't watch The Clinton News Network (CNN)

-Put muzzles over the mouths of liberals

-Vote Republican

-Keep it fresh in everyone's mind that for first few months when the shift of power takes place in Congress that everyone is going to approve of everything the cut and run bastards do...until they fuck the rest of everything else up.

-Vote Republican

-Vote Republican

-Don't vote Demo"Rat"...oops I mean "Democrat"

Does anyone know any vegetarian recipes? My New Years Resolution is to lose 30-50 pounds this year and I decided to ear healthier. And to eat healthier, I decided to do some information on vegetarianism. But I couldn't really find any real good recipes. So if anyone could find a link to it, please, copy and paste it. Please don't tell me to google it.
Thank you.

Ah yes- the coveted one who makes New Years resolutions to lose weight...I love you people- you keep me in business.

Not for nothing...but you would really get so many results instantly if you just typed it into Google.

Start off your resolution by doing some finger exercising and punch the necessary keys into Google....hey it burns calories :-)

Lighten up...it's a New Year, just a chuckle.

Serious advice- Look into someone named Bill Pearl's diets and exercise programs- he's been a lacto-ovovegetarian for over 40 years.

Ok, my new years resolution is to lose weight...my problem is that i do NOT like to exercise. I've tried many sports, but do not like them. I need exercise ideas. I like to swim, but have NO access to a pool. I really really need ideas for this...and another thing...does slim fast work? I wanna know. Thanx soooooo much in advance!!!

Guess what? You're going to have to start liking it if you want to really get anywhere. There is no getting around it- one must eat right AND exercise to make progress. Do you think I like getting on a Stairmaster for 20 minutes? NO- but I do it because that's just the name of the game.

Suck it up and just do it.

And no..Slim fast doesn't work.

Okay, so, for years, I've been reading up on diets that are suppose to make you lose up to 15 pounds in seven days..for instance..the cabbage soup diet. I don't know if any of you have heard of this diet, but if you have tried this, have any of you lost this amount of weight? When I've tried this diet, I haven't lost even 1/4 amount of this weight, and heck..I really need to.

If you have been reading up for that long about diets you would know firsthand that you should stay away from most of them to begin with.

Don't read about the diets themselves...read about their progress or lack thereof.

I've heard of it, I've heard of them all and before people even ask I just say NO. Trust me; you're wasting your time with a diet like that.

hi! 15/f/158lbs.

I used to eat wayyyyy too much. And it showed.. I was obese&had a ton of health problems. So I got my act together and lost a fair amount of weight.

But now, I don't eat close to enough. I count up what I eat (not obsessively, like i dont beat myself up over chewing a stick of gum) and the most I've eaten in a day for a long time is 1000 calories. I try to get myself to eat more, but when I do it makes me throw up.. I'm just incapable of eating normally, which, when I looked it up for my height & weight, was around 2200 calories. I think of eating that much and I feel sick..

What oculd be wrong with me? I'm seeing my doctor soon, but Just wanted another person's opinion.. could it just be a side effect of losing about 40 lbs?

Your doctor will be able to tell you a lot more than I can...I think it could be possible that it is just a side effect from losing a lot of weight and having such a dramatic lifestyle change.

The best way to do anything is to just introduce more foods and exercise on a gradual basis and not in a rush. Start with what you're eating now...let's just say you have 1 chicken breast at dinner...try to have a half of another one and when you're comfortable with that...have another half; just take it slow.

Im around 5'3 and weigh about 120ish. I dont think im fat or anything, but i dont like the way my body looks. I want to be more toned kind of. Im in vollyball and cheerleading so I have muscluar thys, but I want a flat tummy. Its so nasty, If i push out I look pregnant and when im in the middle of a sit up it looks like a giant hill on my stomach. Also I think i have kind of a fat ass, like when i squeeze I see ceulite. I know its not easy to loose that, but what are some things I can do to get a better bod and a flatter stomach?

I am sure you don't look pregnant lol.

As for the glutes- nothing beats squats and lunges for building that up.

Eating clean, exercising and having a positive mental attitude will get you a great mind and body. No tricks or gimmicks.

I think it was back in the early 90s when this happened, but Jose Canseco was playing left field I think and going back for a deep fly ball. He was back to about the warning track, lost it in the lights, and it hit him in the fence and went into the stands, and was ruled a home run.

I just want to know what it would have been ruled had it hit him (in fair territory), and went into the stands foul.

Thanks.

Yes that was a game against the Indians when Jose was playing for the Rangers...another piece of baseball trivia for you- he is the first of only 4 players to hit 40 home runs and steal 40 bases in a season.

Simply put answer to your question- It's a ground ruled double.

iS it true that if you chew gum 30 minutes before you exersize you burn more???

No. Absolutely, positively, definitely not.

Hey, I know I already posted a question yesterday, but from the advice I got...I was wondering if I ate healthy(without purging or anything)..like No red meats, some white meat, no sodas, some whole grain, fruits and vegetable and exercise up to an hour a day...how much weight could I lose in a week.
When I was purging, I was able to drop at least 5 pounds a weeks some weeks.
But would I be able to lose more than the maximum of 2 pounds a week by eating like that? I am wanting to lose about 25 pounds before I go prom dress shopping at the end of March and for prom at the end of April.
Also, next year is my senior year in August, and we have senior pictures, and I'm afraid I'm going to be deathly fat for them!
(17 years old)

No one can tell you how much weight you will lose in a week...unless you're God.

You dropped 5 lbs in a week by purging...somewhere in the back of your head you had to anticipate that it wasn't going to work very effective for an extended period of time, and now that point is solidified. You really have to stop wanting to lose so much so quick- it happened to you once before as you're saying and now you're on here looking for advice on how to do it the right way. Before pounds get lost- unreasonable expectations must be lost. You'll have plenty of time to do this the right way provided you eat clean and often and exercise sufficiently.

People think we trainers hold some secret knowledge and get mad when we don't act as Magi immediately...I am just like you- It takes TIME for me to get to a target weight and I have to eat clean and often to get there. Our bodies may be different but the principles are all the same- solid nutrition, good exercise and a positive mental attitude. All 3 combined equals success and weight loss that you can actually keep.

i'm 13. i love shopping and i'm not just saying that. i use my dads credit card when he takes me shopping but sometimes they say "can i see your lisence" and my dad shows them his. but i was wondering am i old enough to have a credit card? if not, when am i old enough?

When you're around 18 you will get offer after offer for credit cards.

Technically you can have one at 18...in reality you can have one when you have a job where you can cover your expenses you incur from using it...card companies like you to have a job before giving you one so it shows you have some way of paying them back...daddy isn't always going to be able to take care of that when you should be responsible for it.

Wait until you have a nice paying job and you get an offer for a card that doesn't come with a 26% rate of interest.

this might sound kind of weird, but you know the Ramon Noodle soup? (chicken flavored) well i eat the seasoning inside (the silver packet) lol. is this good for me? i know its not entirely healthy but will this affect my health and weight in any way? thanks!

That is LOADED with sodium...you'll hold a lot of water and have some elevated blood pressure.

We all have something weird that we love that isn't exactly the norm...like me for instance- I eat raw eggs on a regular basis; but when I feel like cheating it's puffy Cheese Doodles and Yoo-Hoo :-D

Just take it easy on the packet consumption lol.

today i just started going on a diet-- but it's nothing like a major/extreme/aneroxic diet. i would like to lose 14 pounds quick. today i started to run on my tredmill for 25 minutes, the speed was 4.3, i ran 1.52 miles, burned 255 calories, and 79.7 fat burned (whatever that means lol). well if i continue to do this 6 times a week, how long would it take me to lose my 14 pounds? thanks!

Mistake no.1- You're rushing a goal that you're very new to.

Future Mistake no.2- You're going to burn yourself out and become even more unrealistic when things don't happen the way you want them to happen. You're going to cut back on your food even more because you see what you're doing isn't producing instant results and your diet is going to crash and any weight you lose in the mean time will be put on again...I can tell by reading your question- I work with people like yourself all the time (That's not a bad thing by the way). However this future mistake is preventable:

What do I think? I think you should eat cleaner; not less and just relax and know that if you stay with it you will lose 14 lbs...definitely not in a week probably not in a month- if you want to keep 14 lbs off at least. It takes time..you don't have to listen to what I am saying but it's the truth..take it easy; all in due time. When you first start out it's easy to gain/lose the "Freshman 15" because you aren't used to it and you can just as easily gain it all back.

Over the summer I was in a relationship with an older man, and while I was away serving with my church...my dad found my cell phone bill and called my guy. My dad basically said that my guy should never talk to me again. Do you think that this was right for my father to do?

Thanks,
Jenn

Your pops definitely sensed something not right about your relationship and acted in a way that he should have- he was protecting his daughter.

I don't know him, I don't know you, I don't know the whole story so I can't say whether it is right or wrong but at least it shows that he cares about you and who you associate with. I also think there must be some kind of reason for him doing it- it wasn't just out of the blue I am sure.

Guys come and go..but you only get one father, he's just looking out for you.

EDIT: No I don't have MSN Messenger...feel free to ask an Inbox question to me though.

Stuck in a contract! My partner and myself joined Fitness First in April and she joined us on a 1 year contract. Whilst we started using the club regularily to start with, changes in work schedules have made it hard to fit in the time between work and family. Not only that, my mother recently asked me to pay back in a full a loan she gave me last year. Whilst, we are not broke, we wanted to get out of the contract as we have not used the gym in over a month, nor does it look like we will be able to for some time yet. We have been told by Fitness First that there is no way we can get out of the contract and it most run for a year. I would have thought that there would be a compulsory release clause with a sensible penalty. We have been told that unless we get proof from Cit Advice Bureau that we can not afford to pay, we are stuck. Please advise if there is anything we can do. Many thanks

Gyms have their own policies about pulling out of a membership- your only option really is to take it up with the gym itself.

Before you go crazy and think there's absolutely no time within 24 hours to use a gym- consider this: the busiest people in the world make the time to train. Even if this means getting up or going to sleep a few hours earlier. YOU should take care of YOU before you take care of anything else...this is where the beauty and awe of my personal preference and philosophy- the very early morning works come in. I wake up at 5am everyday to get to the gym by 5:30...I know where you're coming from- between school and life this is my only option; but the difference is that I realize what it means to me and that I can in fact make time to do it if I just rethink my strategy a bit. Play around with different times of day to train and make your meals well in advance so they will last you the week..Tupperware is a beautiful thing.

Take care of what you need to take care of and know that the gym is always there when you need it- it's just up to you and you alone to make it all work for you.

I'm 16, and extremely muscular because i've been running track since I was 7. It's the off season and I've been slowly but surely gaining. I'm not fat but I dont feel like me. I want to lose a little but I'm not sure how? or what to eat? or how to exercise? whenever I work out, I feel like i'm just getting more and more muscular (bulky if you will) and that im not really getting rid of the stomach flab? What should I do?

Do you want to get bigger or do you want to slim down? It's one or the other- your body isn't a hybrid.

Lies:
-You will get well defined abs by working out and doing every ab exercises under the sun
-You can lose weight and get more muscle at the same time

Truth:
-If you are lifting weights or doing any resistance movement- you are adding muscle; Hence- weight
-You will not lose stomach flab by exercising your abs
-Your diet is what makes you or breaks you

You have to find out what your real true goal is and adjust accordingly. I am sure you gained an insignificant amount of weight and are just looking at details too much. Relax.
