Even though it's not quite a topic of advice-giving, shall we say, I think we should add a topic of discussion about the war...yea? Nay? Just a thought.
I think that the war is really, really stupid. Nothing has been accomplished; even under Saddam's dictatorship, the people had food and there weren't as many deaths as there are now.
Bottom line: President Bush should be IMPEACHED for this-for killing over 3000 Americans and countless Iraquis. It's effing ridiculous, and I beg anyone else to challenge me on this. [ Igotamonopoly's advice column | Ask Igotamonopoly A Question ]
ASAPcamille answered Tuesday January 2 2007, 3:24 pm: i think that the war has its pros and cons. if we just took their leader, they would all come after us. they shouldnt have had 9/11 anyway. we werent bothering them, so they took innocent peoples lives, so now we are taking theirs? i dont think that is a good idea. innocent people in iraq and stuff are getting killed for other peoples' ideas.

-Watch the Fox News Channel
-Don't read the Washington Post or the NY Times
-Don't watch The Clinton News Network (CNN)
-Put muzzles over the mouths of liberals
-Vote Republican
-Keep it fresh in everyone's mind that for first few months when the shift of power takes place in Congress that everyone is going to approve of everything the cut and run bastards do...until they fuck the rest of everything else up.
blwinteler answered Sunday December 31 2006, 11:28 pm: If someone is in need of advice about something regarding the war, I think it would be appropriate. For example, there have been questions about handling relationships with persons in the military and such, as well as handling grief due to a loved one dying overseas.
However, this is not a discussion site, so talking about outside of the realm of advice is just plain against the rules. It is something best left to other forums.
It is also important to realize that the moderators here have enough to do with keeping things friendly and safe. Bringing up discussions about war can cause some very heated arguments, which means a lot more work for the mods. Unless we all donate a good amount to create and moderate a discussion forum here, it really is just not fair to those who run this place. [ blwinteler's advice column | Ask blwinteler A Question ]
