I have a lot of white discharge between periods. Usually its thick and drys very white. I also sometimes get a clear gel liek discharge. Is this normal?


don't worry. it just happens to some people and not to others. It's completely harmless, although it can be a pain in the neck trying to wash it out of underpants. I know this sounds reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaally gross, but our sex-ed teacher Mrs Cohen told us that discharge is just mucus.

I have been in my current relationship for 9 months. Previouisly my relationship was 4 years in which we had a child. since then her father hasn't seen or talked to her in 6 months. Now when she starts to get close to my boyfriend she takes three steps back. But if she meets someone new she walk with them and hold their hand and she won't do this with my boyfriend. This upsets him and I've told him maybe she's just afraid to get close with himbecause she's afraid he will leave her too. Please help me try to understand this better. (she's only 5 years old)

Well of course she steps back from your boyfriend. She's a toddler! She's scared of strangers. She's aware that her father left him and little kids aren't old enough to understand second chances.

What do i do when i have an abuse of mother, who has mode swings, and is VERY abuse of somtime, its starting to be more abuseive than not, i am scared to tell anyone cause i know that it will come back to her and she will hurt me, like last week i didnt do my chores and she twisted my wrist, and now i have a sprained wrist.

It doesn't sound like there's a whole lot you can do to not live with her. Didn't you say that she's nice when she's not violent? Just try and do what you can to avoid her getting herself worked up. Do your chores, and if she asks you to jump, ask how high? Just do what she says to avoid her getting angry. I know this sounds weak and you might resent it and she's probably very irresponsible, but you can't change that, so you might just have to give in. Sorry hang in there babe ♥

ii have a seriously bad habit of biting my nails ii would love 2 have some long nails by the time school starts, does ne1 know of some really good tips and/or products or something that would get me 2 stop? -[(nail polishes? medicines?)]- any good answers get 5!! thanx loads!

Go to a nail salon and have false nails glued on and wait for them to grow out underneath the gel/acrylic/plastic/whatever. Fake nails are like stone surfboards lol It's impossible to bite through them!!!

My family wants to get another dog. We already have a Bichon Frise and we would like to get another small dog, maybe smaller that a Bichon Frise. Does any body know of any good dogs, that work well with children, are cute, arent that expensive, and would work well with another small dog? My Bichon Frise is very sweet if that matters for anything. Thanks!

most cocker spaniels are absolutely adorable and are nice to children if children are nice to it [the cocker spainel]. Same with Pomeranians. Pomeranians can tend to have a loud shrill bark, but you can have them de-barked.

about 90% of the time it'll prevent you from STDs and pregnancy of the guy wears it the right way. But remember that you can still get genital warts or crabs because crabs and the virus that creates the warts are not transmitted through semen.

um I'm not sure, but there are things that you can be sure will never get old, like miniskirts and Uggs. it always looks good and in fashion wherever you go and is appropriate for Junior High. Clothes is like makeup. You can't overdo it, especially in the 6th or 7th or 8th grade. And in Junior High, I'm sorry to say that guys don't really notice what you wear until high school [unless it's really nerdy and weird]. trust me, I'm about to be a junior. think about it: do you pay a lot of attention do what guys wear? 13/f i'm not really like a schoolgirl or anything, but let's just say "rocker" is not my label. still, i like the look. what are some ways to get the not-outrageaous but not-TOO-subtle ways to get a slight rockerish look without looking like a total poser? thankz

Well you could:

1. straighten your hair
2. dye your hair with semi-permanent black dye (the kind that washes out in 28 shampoos)1 and 2 can be found a Longs Drugs
3. get some tight black jeans that flare at the end or tear up some blue jeans
4. Go to a thrift store and find your ideal belt.
5. wear black nail polish
6. find a black spaghetti strap shirt, if your mom and your school will allow it.
7. Go to the drugstore and buy dark lip gloss. It's totally "appropriate" and looks good.

...and about makeup...

just wear a little bit of eyeliner. Sharpen a eyeliner pencil and draw a blunt but straight line right along your lower eyelashes if you're inexperienced. Use a wet Q-tip and wipe away most of it so its barely visible. It makes your lower lashes look thicker without anyone really being able to tell its there. It looks really good. Or, just line the top lid. For the top you need one of those spongey things. sponge it right under the fold of your eyelid so you can see just a stripe of black.

Okay, when I shave my underarms, it still looks dark afterwards where I shaved. How do I fix it so that it doesn't look like I have any hair there? Thanks so much to anyone who answers!

You can get it waxed where a professional pulls it out or spend a lot of money to get a laser cut, where they rip it out forever. but after you shave, there's no other way to get rid of the dark spot. Sorry!

Ok you need to tell your parents. Just say "Mom, *boyfriend's name* raped me last week. What should I do?" It's not your fault that it was your boyfriend and you went out with him...you didn't see it coming, right? It's true that the evidence is probably gone...but you could be pregnant and have an STD. you might even have AIDS! You absolutely should see a gynecologist and have a pelvic check. Cuz some STD's like gonorrhoea and clymydia are easily curable...if you do something about it quickly. AIDS is not!

we've been out of school for a long time and i didnt do one thing with a friend. if one person is doind something with someone already they wont let you do anything with them =( they wont get a big group of girls to hang with or anything. I'm sorry to say that your friendship with these girls have drifted too far apart. There's not a whole lot that you can do about it now. I know that this isn't too helpful but that's the truth. But you can try to make new friends! When the school year starts you can make friends with the new kids. Making new friends isn't always easy, but you can do it. Always keep in contact with them. If you don't keep in contact for a long time, a friendship will drift apart.

I have tons of friends, quite a few good friends, and 9 best friends. but I dont have one or two BEST friends. It kinda bugs me because most of my 9 best friends all have one or two BEST friends. i love all my friends to death, but something seems to be missing.

also, i am so different than my other friends and i really dont fit in with any of them. we are going into high school in the fall and i am SO nervous that they will split into a couple different groups and i'll be left to wander.

I also have trust issues i guess you could say. I have such a hard time trusting my friends. i feel like i cant talk to them about hard stuff because i'm supposed to be the strong one, that looks out for them. I end up keeping everything bottled up cuz i have no one to talk to. it's just so difficult because i have so many great friends, but i always feel like there is never anyone there for me.

Any advice on any of these friend issues would be appreciated thanks.

If they're your best friends, they'll probably listen to you. You probably can't trust them because you've never tried. Maybe you're a very secretive person and won't spill the beans easily. But give it a shot anyway, and if they don't listen to you, then you should find new friends

She might have bulimia. An eating disorder. That's where you hardly eat and you force youself to upchuck or you take laxatives

I think you should break up...it's not really going to get any better, is it? You shouldn't go out with him just because you want a boyfriend. If you don't think he's really all that great, there's really no point. Especially if he always seems irritated to see you.
