mushoku answered Friday July 1 2005, 12:49 pm: It definately sounds like she needs to consult a doctor, after telling her parents.
However, this could be due to diet - like if she always eats oily foods, or there's something she has everyday that she might be allergic to. It could even be heat. Maybe. Even so, she should still have her parents take her to see a doctor. [ mushoku's advice column | Ask mushoku A Question ]
karenR answered Friday July 1 2005, 11:54 am: She needs to tell her mom and then go see a doctor. She could have irritable bowel syndrome, or any number of other ailments that could be taken care of with the right med or diet. She shouldn't have to live with constant diarrhea. Tell her to see a doctor. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
Teza answered Friday July 1 2005, 11:28 am: Well.. your friend needs to stop being embarassed and she really does need to see a doctor. If she wants help she has to go. She could also go to the pharmacy and get something that will calm her down and stop with the dirreah. She needs to watch what she is putting in her mouth. I mean she still needs to eat but she really shouldnt stuff her self so her stomach will hurt. ♥// xOo` [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
jbdreamer answered Friday July 1 2005, 10:14 am: She hardly eats? Maybe that's her problem. Diarrhea can be a symptom of a poor diet or dehydration. Because it is an ongoing thing, it is defiantly something she should go to the doctor for. [ jbdreamer's advice column | Ask jbdreamer A Question ]

blondebaby1016 answered Friday July 1 2005, 9:29 am: Hey, I don't want to jump to any conclusions or assume, but possibly she has an eating disorder? Laxitives make you poop/diareeha ALOT, and on top of the fact she barely ever eats, that could be it. But I am not sure, tell her to ask the dr. ballerina04 answered Friday July 1 2005, 9:04 am: Definitely go to the doctor! It shouldn't be embarassing to go to a doctor because they've seen it all before, and they are there to make you feel better. She needs some kind of medicine, and only the doctor will be able to prescribe it. [ ballerina04's advice column | Ask ballerina04 A Question ]
