This is a bit embarassing. I am thirteen years old and a girl. When I was younger I was a normal height and I had quite large breasts for my age. Now I'm four foot nine and my breast size is 32A. My breasts haven't grown for two years. Everyone is taller than me and most of my friends have bigger chests than me. My mother says I'll catch up and grow but I don't think I will. I'm really worried about the size of my breasts, I don't want to be small chested and I'm really short compared to most of my friends.
It's really nothing to be embarrassed about. Just because your breasts haven't grown in two years doesn't mean that they wont still grow. You probably had a small growth spurt, and aren't noticing any changes now because it's not going to be an over-night change anymore.
But trust me, your only 13, your going to keep growing. I never really had a noticable growth spurt, but every couple of years I continue to notice changes with everything from height, to chest size and more. And yes, at 21, it still seems to be happening.
I have a good friend who is only an A cup, and she is 20 years old. Yes, she complains about it all the time, but she's never really had a problem having a lot of over all confidence about her looks. She has a wonderful boyfriend who loves her no matter what she looks like. And, she also gets hit on often by strangers who think she's cute.
Stress can be a very bad thing for your body. It can make you less likely to cause infection, cause premature aging, and inhibit growth. Just calm down and be a 13 year old. Don't worry about your breasts, or height, because, seriously, even if you don't grow anymore, it's absolutely nothing to worry about.
I've also always felt that if you act like your confident, you begin to be more confident. It seems to work with me a lil bit.

I have a very close male friend. (I am female.) We used to have feelings for each other and had a very short lived relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. Now we are just really good friends. A lot of people think we have feelings for each other and say how we should date and things. The thing is, we really don't feel that way about each other. Anyway... Lets say your close male friend is heme, and everyone else collectively are hemalysers. (sorry, I've been studying blood morphology all weekend)
Ok... I'm guessing that if these hemalysers continue to tell you two to hang out, your going to keep getting embarrassed, and it's going to just make you more and more uncomfortable. Eventually this could lead to you and Heme not hanging out as much, just so you don't have to deal with the uncomfortable-ness.
This is a bad thing. You shouldn't have to give up a really close friend just because the Hemalysers are too immature to accept that a girl and a guy can be just friends.
Have you mentioned to them that it's really annoying? If not, then you should. You can continue to say "We don't like each other like that" But they're going to believe what they want to believe no matter what you say. Perhaps if they know that them bugging you about this really does bother you enough, then they'll be decent enough to stop.
Just say something like "Dude, that's really annoying. The only thing it does is make me not even want to hang around Heme anymore" If it was me, I would say it a little harshly... but then again, that's because I'm a bitch. :)
Young people are foolish. They seem to think that two straight people of the opposite sex can't possibly be very close without wanting to be boyfriend and girlfriend.
Besides my female roommate, my best friend is my ex boyfriend. I've never had to deal with constant annoyance from other people when we go out to eat together or spend all night talking about each other's problems.
If none of this works, then your just going to have to learn to ignore the hemalysers. You don't want them to succeed in lysing everything apart now do you?
It will stop eventually. It might take a nice summer vacation for them to get over it, but it will eventually stop.

Ok, I'm interpretting this as... You love Angie like a best friend, but sometimes you get annoyed with her even though she doesn't start to act any differently.
That's normal. My best friend is also my roommate. I love hanging out with her, but we see A LOT of each other.
Once in a while, everything she says will make me want to scream, even though she really isn't doing anything different. I'm sure the same thing happens with her about me.
During those times, we just go do seperate things. It's only going to do good things for your friendship if you don't spend every day hanging out. Take a break once in a while and go hang out with other friends.

I met this woman through work, and I would like to get to know her better. I don't ever get to see er anymore though, and the only way I know of to get in touch with her is to cal her. I vever asked for her number, but I can look it up. Should I call her, or would it be a bad idea, since she hasn't given me her number?
I would say that you should go ahead and call her. If she's interested, then she will be really flattered that you would go out of your way to find her number.
You really have nothing to lose.
Maybe she isn't interested and wouldn't want to get to know you more. But really, why would that matter? You never see her anymore, anyway. You don't have to worry about the akward "hi" when you see her.
But, the other option is that she is interested, she wants to get to know you, and you two hit it off.

i'm currently a freshman in my second semester of college and i have a problem staying awake in my classes, even if i get adequate hours of sleep the night before!
i've tried drinking coffee during class (despite the caffeine, has not worked for me), bringing munchies, having a water bottle, doodling on my notebook, and vice versa. basically anything to keep me busy and awake! all of my attempts have failed...any ideas?

I read your feedback, you seem like your doing a pretty good job. At least it's only a couple minutes each class.
But I want to add another thing. Your probably not going to find any College courses that are less than an hour and a half. Seriously, your lucky. I have a couple of two and a half hour classes this semester. My worst was a four hour class with a ten minute break after two hours.
I know, it's sucky, but your gonna have to get used to it from now on.

As was already said, don't over-dress. I have had a lot of problems staying awake in one particular class this past winter because the heat is always so high in the room.
Another thing you should try is paying attention to every word your Professor says. If you are taking notes, instead of just doodling, your mind will be more awake. Your in college, chances are, your taking classes that you are interested in, or that you need for a future career. That should be enough incentive to want to learn.
Also, you should wake up with enough time to get up, wake up, and eat. Don't over eat, but eat a small amount. Also, take a shower, and let really cold water run on you for a few seconds right before you get out.
Coffee has never worked for me either. I think drinking plenty of water makes me slighlty more awake.
My best advice would be to take notes and actually listen to your teacher. Don't just doodle, write down notes.
If none of this works, then at least try your hardest to study your textbook, and do practice questions/essays, or whatever else would help you learn the things that your suppposed to be learning in class. Your paying for the classes, it's up to you to not waste that money.
And, seriously, I know what it's like. Last semester, my early Anatomy and Physiology was brutal.

I want to get a cat 2 weeks from now. I know that I will be a responsible owner and that I'm old enough to make my own decisions (20). So even if I know that my mom wouldn't allow me to get a cat (because for her it is a "waste of time and money"), Iam getting one! by adoption..

Just because your old enough to make your own decisions, doesn't mean your old enough to take care of an animal. Especially since your 20, still live with your mother, and are selfishly going against her rules and bringing a cat into HER house.
Any animal takes a lot of care. For instance, are you going to college? Are you going to be moving around in the near future? Are you going to have time to care for an animal? Are you going to have the money to care for an animal? Are you going to just throw the cat away once it isn't cute anymore, or once it becomes too much to handle?
If your going to college, chances are, your life is going to change dramatically from the time you first enter, to the time that you get out. You will most likely move around, change jobs, etc.
Most college students don't have the time, energy, money, or knowledge to take care of an animal. Many animals get adopted, only to be brought back in a few months to a year. At the human society and animal shelters in my area, you are not even allowed to be considered for adoptions unless you are 21 years old or over, because of this very reason.
Your additude of this frightens me. I hate it when people simply go out and say "My mom won't let me, but I'm getting one!!!"

Trust me, I'm a Veterinary Technology major, I've volunteered at the humane society, and I've helped with spaying and neutering unwanted stray cats many times.
I've seen the effects of people making rash decisions about getting a cute little cuddly animal before thinking about the consiquences.
Oh, and if you think I'm being harsh about this, that's too bad. I could go on and on about how you can really tell whether or not your responsible enough for an animal. I am only harsh because I hate to see animals adopted, or "rescued" by ill-prepared people who end up doing more harm than good.

I have a cold where I have to blow my stuffy nose like every minute. Now it's all red and it hurts under my nose. My mom doesn't even care I'm sick and suffering so what should I put to heal the sore? Or maybe it won't matter because I would just wipe it off. :-/ I have to walk a block to the bus stop in the freezing cold so now matter what I'm not really getting a chance to heal this cold. Carry around a small thing of vaseline, and a small thing of Vicks Vapo Rub with you.
Right after you blow your nose, put some vaseline on your nose, where it's sore. This will help to moisturize and heal the soreness.
Now, put some of the Vicks Vapo Rub on over the vaseline. Just enough for you to smell the vapors.
Putting on the vapo rub over the vaseline, will keep the vapo rub from burning your already sore nose (trust me, it hurts) But it will also clear your sinuses and help you breath. When you are able to breath, you will be able to get rid of the sickness better, by breathing out all the bad stuff.
It's a pain in the ass, but when your really feeling shitty, it can make you feel a lot better.
You might want to take a day off of school, to just lay around, take care of yourself, drink some liquids, and get your strength up.

I've had my cat for about ten years now, and lately my parents have said she has been acting strange. This morning I saw her eating out of a Chinese food bag that had been in the garbage, so I calmly said "no", and threw it away. Then I tried to pet her and she moved away. I tried a few more times, she kept walking away. She wouldn't come sit on my lap, though she did come when I moved wiggled my fingers. But she doesn't like it when I touch her at all. We think it's just because she's very old, but we can't really take her to the vet because we don't have a lot of money. However, my parents are thinking about putting her down soon because we don't want to see her in pain and my mother said that she was considering taking her to the vet to see what was wrong. What is wrong with her? Is it really just that she's old? What should I do? (Besides going to the vet, I mean) Thanks a lot : )

Your parents would need to bring her to the vet to put her down painlessly and properly anyway.
I would suggest bringing her in for an actual examination before bringing her in to be put down. That way, they can find out if there is anything causing her pain.

im gonna restate this
my best friend broke up with her boyfriend last year in like march. during the summeri started to like him and she didnt seem to have a problem and i was always waiting there with me until he came online. then he asked me if i liked him and i was being stupid and said no. so then my friend asked him if he liked me and he said not anymore cuz she doesnt like me.. so she told me and i felt pretty stupid but got over it. a couple days ago i was talking to him online and flirting with him and i started to really like him again. so on friday i was online with him and i told him i was sorta dissapointed because no one was coming to watch me play basketball the night cuz they all had something to do. i didnt tell him what time it was or anything, i just told him what my teams record was and the name. i think he went online to the website and looked up the schedule. so anyway when i got there i didnt even notice he was there. right before the first half was over i was walking outside with my friend to get a drink and he said hi, but i didnt know it was him. after i came back in he said my name so i looked and i got all nervous, but i said hi back. after the game i was walking out but my dad was pushing me out of the gym so i noticed that he got off the bench as soon as i came in from the court but i never got to talk to him. i dunno if he likes me or not.

It's not normal, and could be caused by something serious. Any time a pet loses a drastic amount of weight you should worry about it. Especially since it hasn't happened to your other two rabbits, and I assume that you feed them all the same kind and amount of food.
You need to at least call the Veterinarian. If you explain everything to them, then they will be able to tell you what to do next.
Think about different things that could be causing it- change in diet, change in environment, etc.
But if one of your rabbits loses all of it's body fat, then he is NOT being his normal self. Get him fixed up before it turns into a larger problem.

well, about a year ago, i got hit by a car and broke my thigh bone, the doctor put two screws in it.. recently, the doctor told me i had to go into day sergery to get them out, i asked what it was, i he sed that you had to be awake throughout the whole entire thing! i got so scared... should i go though it, cuz he sed i have a choice, does it hurt alot?? help!
No, it won't hurt. Your doctor wouldn't make you go through anything too painful. You will not be able to feel anything.

Yes, definately. Part of your class is beign prepared. You are not only learning everything related to the subject, you are learning how to be better prepared in the world. If you forget your briefcase, or whatever other tools you need, for your job, then you would be totally screwed for the day. This way, you only get a slightly worse grade.
It's much less drastic than what the real world will be like.

I had a boyfriend that had his penis peirced before. I actually saw him get it done. afterwards, he explained it as a mixture of pain and pleasure.
I believe we had to wait at least a month before trying to have sex. We also had to use condoms to keep the piercing from moving too much. It didn't take as long before oral sex.
But, it also depends on what kind of piercing he gets. Some heal faster than others.
The peircer should be able to explain all of this.
Ask away if he needs any help with knowing how to care for it, but, like I said, the piercer should explain all of this. If not, then you need to find a better piercer.

Ok, people are morons, I just want to clear up a few things that some of the people answered this question with.
1: Very Important- you CAN get pregnant if you have sex on your period. You should use both a condom and birth control
2: Birth control pills do NOT make it so that you don't have your period at all.
3: Having sex on your period is not as messy as everyone makes it seem. But you should tell your boyfriend that your on it before you try anything. You do not want him to freak out when he see's blood.
I also want to mention that when a female is on her period... how can I put this... well, it's sort of like she is "in heat" so to say.
I have talked to many other women about the topic of sex on your period, and they've all agreed with me. If you and your boyfriend are comfortable enough with each other, then he would love the idea of pleasing you while your on your period.

Me and my brother both bought Betta Splendens. (Better known as-Siamese Fighting Fish) We wanted to know how much to feed them we bought tiny pellets that they have at the pet store. We both have males so they cannot be together. How much do we feed them a day? How much do we change their water and any other basics? Thanks.
As has already been said, Betta's are not particularly aggressive fish. Other fish attack them because they look like food. Seriously, I have never seen a beta kill another fish, I have seen them sort of bully other fish and follow them around with their fins all puffed out, but I've never actually seen them attack another fish. I have, however, seen beta's get slowly eaten alive by other fish, especially gold fish. The other fish eat their colorful flowing fins like it's fish food.
Anyway, do not over feed them, only feed them 1-3 pellets each a day. Never feed them more than they are able to eat. Over feeding fish is the main reason that the water gets too dirty.
Now...
DO NOT CHANGE THE WATER THAT OFTEN!!!
Often, people change their fish's water too often, and it starts to get cloudy, so they change it more, and then they change it again, and again, and again.
This is very bad. Don't clean off the rocks in the cage, don't wipe down the sides of the cage, leave the algae in it, and get a filter for the cage.
Now, once you get the filter, you should only need to clean the water once a month.
This includes taking out 1/4 to 1/2 of the water, and replacing it with water that is the same temperature.
There are also some vacuum cleaners that you can use to clean the rocks in the bottom.
But, trust me, you do not need them to be shiny clean. You do not, and should not get all of the sliminess off of everything. Fish need that stuff. They need certain nutrients in it to live.
Also... Betta's are tropical fish, therefore need their water temperature to be 72-80 degree's farienheit.
Along with the filter, it might also be a good idea to get a sucker fish or two to keep them company. Plus I think the sucker fish look wicked cool if I may say so myself.
Just make sure that there's plenty of algae in the fish tank before you put the sucker fish in there, or he will just starve to death.
