I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

Ah, yes. I love gold fish and have cared for many!
Gold fish are by nature vegetarians. And they don't mind the flakes at all- they always think they are starving even though they aren't. (Funny little guys aren't they?)
If you want to give them a little extra, they love to eat plants. I'm talking about the pretty aquarium plant life you can buy at any fish carrying pet store. (As for the pet stores in Australia, I don't know about which they are.)
Most people buy these plants for decoration for their aquariums, but I always bought them for my fish to nibble on, and it makes for a healthy snack for them. Plus, the plants are pretty inexpensive. (around $1.00 here)
i asked the question about turtles, but the thing is it would be the miniature turtles that are only about 1 inch big.
so would they be alright in a fishtank? becuase the fish are about 1 inch big too
You have to keep fish in a different aquarium than turtles.
You have to have the fish tank with enough water for the fish to have ample surviving environment.
For the turtle, you need to have a large reptile aquarium because they live in water and on land. It has to have room enough for it to have a pool to swim in and rocks etc for it to come out, dry off and hide if it so wishes.

P.S. A reptile aquarium is a lot like a fish aquarium in the fact that they are large glass boxes. However, a reptile aquarium is not as high as one for fish, and it is much longer to provide your pet as much space as he needs to grow and survive.
Hey everyone! Well my hair goes down to my shoulders and I really would like it to be longer. I heard this hair product(shampoo & condiotioner) called "Main and Tail" works reallyyy good. I know its also used for animals... However, i was wondering if anyone had any ifo on this product or any other product you can buy kinda cheap that helps yuor hair grow fast. Thankx soo much!

Well, I've used Mane 'n Tail products and it made my hair look healthier. So if you are looking for healthier hair it is a fine product.
I hate to inform you that there is no shampoo on the market or otherwise that will make your hair grow faster. Believe me, I have searched the masses- my hair seems slow growing as well.
The fact is, you just have to be patient for the long hair, because human hair grows at most a quarter of an inch per month.
I suppose that if you are wanting the "right now" long hair, you can have someone weave in extensions, but that may not be for you.

No. When they take blood to test for infectious diseases, that is what they test for. Those tests won't show THC levels or blood alcohol levels because they are disease tests.
They can, however if they take a vile of blood to send in for drug/alcohol level tests.
Usually they take separate viles for different tests because some tests require the blood to be whole and some require the blood to be separated. I can't tell you if it is whole blood or separated blood they use for drug testing.
General question. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on the true nature of forgiveness:whether forgiveness is possible, or whether it is a man-made delusion. Any concrete examples are much appreciated.
Is forgiveness a man-made delusion? Possibly- It had to be made up somewhere along the line. But whether it was man-made or not, it is a good thing to forgive. It's a feel-good thing and a way to let it go for good.
Is it possible? I think it is, though it is often times hard to do. They say it is easier to forgive than to forget- I believe that too.
There are people who have wronged me greatly in my life that I know I should forgive, but I just can't do it at this point, though I hope to be able to someday in order to really put it behind me. However, it was something I learned a big lesson from, so I will never be able to forget it.
Another thing I think is that not forgiving someone should never be confused with hating someone. Hate is a feeling much worse on your inner well-being than unforgiving ever could be.

when you have an eyelash curler and you also use mascara, do you put your mascara on then use the eyelash curler? or use the eyelash curler than put your mascara on?
TRUST ME! You want to use the curler first followed by mascara. If you want curvier lashes, use mascara with a curling brush.
You should never use a curler after you put on mascara because, not only does it ruin the pad on the curler, but the mascara sticks to the pad causing your lashes to stick. Then you can say "Bye-bye" to thick, full lashes because it pulls your them out by the roots.
I used to put on mascara then curl, and I have very thin eyelashes because of it. Now when I put on mascara, my lashes glob together and look downright stupid. Also, to look like I have full lashes I have to glue on fake ones which is far more trouble than it's worth.
I have some questions about tongue piercings. =]
1)how do you know if the tongue is fully healed? I have mine for about 4 weeks.
2)I have seen LOTS of people with silver barbells in their tongue and only like one with colors...is there a certain reason why? Which do you prefer?
3)Anything i should know now that i have had it for 4 weeks? Will their be more swelling? Because usually in the morning my bottom is swolllen.

I had my tongue pierced, and it takes several weeks for it to fully heal. (Generally 4-6)
The reason you see so many different barbells is because there are so many to choose from. I strongly advise you avoid using plastic barbells- use the steel ones. I used the plastic ones and the bead on the top broke while I was at work and by the time I got home the piercing had already shrank closed. (Yes, tongue piercings will shrink in a matter of hours!)
As for the swelling, you can buy the barbell you want to change into and take it into the place where you had the piercing done. Have them look at it to make sure there is no problems and if there isn't they can change your jewlery. This is all usually at no cost.
I do know that usually the swelling should stop after the first week or so.
Another little tidbit- When the professionals put the beads on the barbell, they use rubber gloves, and that gives a really good grip. So if you try to take it off with your bare hands, you will have a hard time getting it unscrewed. Try to come across a pair of rubber gloves to grip the bead to unscrew it, but use your bare hands to tighten it back on. That makes it easier to change in the future.
So, over the summer I fell in love with my best friend. You see, I moved to Germany and left him behind and went to visit him over the summer. Well, we slept together, numerous times. Towards the end of the summer I got a UTI (a urinary track infection)... and I couldn't get it treated until I got back to Germany. So my mom made a doctors appointment for 2 days after I got back. Well, the doctor wanted to give me a pap smear, but she checked my urine and found too much bacteria in it, so the pap smear wouldn't make a difference. Now I've been taking medicine for my infection for almost a week. yet I'm still bleeding a little bit, and I bled the whole week and a half I had it. Which I don't know if that was my period gone astray or if it was because of the UTI. I've been noticing some symptoms of pregnancy. I'm eating more, peeing more, feeling nauseous in the morning, and sometimes all day. My boobs are swollen and I've been tired a lot. And I'm going to try and get a pregnancy test sometime this week, but I'm afraid. I'm not afraid of being pregnant, I'm afraid of not being pregnant. I love my boyfriend very much, and can't stand to be away from him anymore. His parents won't even let him come visit me. Maybe if I was pregnant, they'd have to let him come? And if not, I'd have something of his... something we CREATED together to keep me sane. Do you think I could be pregnant? Or just crazy? Maybe it's from stress. I know if you think you're pregnant, you're body will sometimes think you're pregnant as well and you'll get the symptoms.

I can't tell you what is going on with your body, but these are a couple of links from coolnurse.com that may give you some information you are looking for. Of course it is possible that you are pregnant. It's always a possibility the minute you have unprotected sex. It's even possible with protection. You should definitely keep that doctors appointment! You may also ask your doctor to test you for sexually transmitted diseases (STD) if you don't have a UTI or aren't pregnant.
Word of advice: NEVER try to be pregnant or hope to be pregnant with the thoughts of having your boyfriend around, no matter how much you love him. That is a very immature way to look at it, and is very unfair to the child you may or may not bring into this world. That child is a little person, not a tool.
And having a child won't help to keep you sane. A baby is a HUGE responsibility, and raising a child is very tiring and stressful.

Well, I suppose it would be possible that she is tired after work, but it seems as though that wouldn't be every day.
It could be possible that maybe the change in jobs and being away from you and other people that she cares about has her feeling depressed. That would cause her to not want to talk to anyone.
These are only guesses, and I wish I could help you more, but I know the best way to solve it is to try to meet with her and discuss it. It is always better to talk about these things face to face. If you can't get her to talk on the phone with you, try stopping by her home sometime when you know she is home from work.
Whatever may be on her mind, it is certainly worth working out. And if she is feeling unhappy for some reason, who better to help than her brother?

This is something I've wondered for a while so I'd like to see what some parents on here say.
Well I'm 16 and my parents act like they were perfect little teenagers. They say that they didn't party, drink, spend random nights out, etc. But I know it's not true because I've heard many many things from their parents and siblings about all kinds of things like that.
So my question is, why don't parents let their kids make their own mistakes? I mean I know they just want to keep us safe and such but they did all those things and they turned out fine.
And on some level, I know that most parents know that their kids lie to them. Like when they say they're going somewhere but go somewhere else. So why can't they just skip the lying part?
When people are kids they always say things like *I'm never going to treat my children this way* or *When I have kids I'm going to let them do that* so why does that change when you actually DO have kids?
I don't know why parents lie. I guess because they don't want you to think what was okay for them is okay for you. They lived in a totally different time as you.
In this day and age, there is such a problem with teens binge drinking and dying from alcohol poisoning, date rape, boys drugging girls in their drinks so they can do that, and the list goes on and on from there.
Mostly, they are trying to keep you safe, sane, and alive.
It would be better if they didn't lie but sometimes the true story isn't something they want you to hear due to sheer embarassment, or maybe something bad happened to them and the stuff you hear is only what their parents and siblings know. You never can tell.
ok this might be a little strange, but when i think of something, it's always a color... i have colors for names, the time, days of the week, letters, up/down, brands, seasons, states, and even north/south/east/west. a lot more things too.. i don't obsess over them, but i think about them often. im just wondering what it all means? is this abnormal?
I wouldn't by any means say it is abnormal. I would say that it is just a way you have taught yourself to remember things, keep track of things, organize things, etc. I, personally, use word association to remember names and places, etc.

I know people who have had problems with their ps2 just like that. It seems as though that if you use them a lot to play games or DVDs on, they just burn up after time. I think it has something to do with the eye that reads the disk has gotten too hot. I don't know if that is your problem, but you can take it in to get it fixed or you can go to places like Electronics Boutique and buy refurbished systems. They cost nearly the amount of buying one new, but the big plus on it is they have lifetime warranties.

Hmmm... I would say yes I have. It is kind of like unconditional love, like you would have for a parent or child (especially for your children). Or if you find the right person to marry someday, it would be that kind of love that you would want to feel for your spouse. That is a good passage.

I don't know how well I can help you with this one. You are from India and I am from the United States so I'm not familiar with your customs.
You said that you took blessings from her as a sister? I'm guessing that means that she feels like a sister to you? If that's what you are meaning, then she feels like she is your sister and loves you as if you are her brother. So, yes, she does love you.
As for being too busy for her to spend time with you or talk to you, I know that happens a lot between brothers and sisters here in the US. Sometimes people just have a lot of things happening in their lives to make time for their loved ones. Maybe you can get ahold of her and try to set a date for you to get together and and spend some time with each other. That would also give you a chance to talk to her about your feelings about this. The best way to confirm her love for you would be face to face, but I am nearly certain that she does love you as her brother.

I can't help much other than saying that the real estate can be profitable and it would be a good job for you to be able to take your son to work with you.
I think you need to get some sort of licence though to be a realtor, so get together with the other mother and find out what you need to do to get started in realty if that's what you want to do.

My parents think every plan for a cellphone is expensive! That's why i'm wondering if that kidconnect plan from t-mobile for 19.99 a month is actually good? I don't care that it has only 50 minutes. Is this plan good for a 13 year old girl?
You can get good pre-pay plans from all cellular phone companies. The T-mobile sounds good, but I will be honest, I didn't have much luck with that company. The signal was good at first, but got worse and worse until I had to hold my tounge right to get a signal.
The downfall is you will have to talk your parents into buying the actual phone. I went to Cingular to get a go-phone, and the phones themselves start at something like $89.99 and only go up from there. There may be cheaper companies than that, but I'm not sure.
Another pre-pay is a Trac Phone. You can get their cheapest phone for less than $20 at Wal-Mart, but the phone cards can be costly at around 50 cents per minute.
In my opinion, your best bet would be to go with pre-pay, because 50 minutes isn't much and it is so easy to go over that amount in a month's time. And those minutes are costly when they add up. (I remember being 13 and on the phone)
I got a terrible hair cut about a few months ago. The lady cut 4inches off, and layered it. However, the layers are all uneven and super choppy. It looks like I did it myself, with a blindfold on! How do I disguise the layers?
My hair isn't long enough to cut it even yet.

I've had my share of bad haircuts... If you curl your hair layer by layer, your bad haircut would be unnoticeable. It would actually look better than you think. You can do this until it's long enough to cut again to your liking.
Is there really a difficult rope awaiting inside every high school gym? i am horrified of "the rope" I COULD NEVER CLIMB THAT THING!!!
I wouldn't be able to climb it either...
At the school I went to, there was no rope to climb so there isn't one in EVERY high school gym.
