kidconnect My parents think every plan for a cellphone is expensive! That's why i'm wondering if that kidconnect plan from t-mobile for 19.99 a month is actually good? I don't care that it has only 50 minutes. Is this plan good for a 13 year old girl?

You should try sim only deal. I got the same problem before but when I subscribed to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) all my problems had gone. ]
Are you active? Do you go to a lot of sports after school or do activities after school? If you don't live close to your school, a cellphone is the best. My family does a family plan, which is a good price for what they give you. You mom, dad, siblings, and your self will get a good plan. Trust me! I use it with my family, and we are happy...good price.
Your 13!!! You need a good phone. When I turned 13, I got pay as you go. If you don't use a phone, then maybe pay as you go is a good idea...except my parents where really strict about talking on the phone except for emergencies. Talk to your parents...kidconnect is a little too young for you. ]
umm that one may work out for you but 50 minutes isnt a lot unless you dont talk on it very much. another plan that you and your parents could look at is disney mobile. it puts you parents in charged and they can decide accounts and allowences and all. i hope i helped you!

me no but if you only have a couple friends and talk a little then 50 mins should last you well pushing it but a week!! ]
A plan that only has 50 minutes may or may not be good. If you like to talk on the phone a lot, then you're definatly going to need more minutes than that. What would be a better idea for you is a TracPhone (0r some other type of pre-paid cell phone). You can get the phone for relativly cheap and you can buy your own minutes when you need them. ]
Hi. I'm 14 and since I don't really talk on the phone alot, but just need a way of communicating when it's necessary, I have a T-Mobile phone. It doesn't look that great, and it's not the coolest but it's pretty useful and the service is good also. My phone is a Nokia 6010. Here's a pic:

You can get it at walmart very cheap. Around $30.
It comes with 59 minutes or so, I'm not sure.
You use calling cards to get minutes, so you don't have to pay every month.
You can buy $10 worth, which is 30 minutes, and it will last a month. ($0.33/min)
You can buy $25 worth, and get 130 minutes, lasting 3 months. ($.029/min)
You can buy $50 worth, and get 400 minutes, lasting 3 months. (%0.13/min)
Or you can buy %100 worth, and get 1200 minutes. It lasts a year.
I strongly suggest you get the $100 card, because you don't have to keep on buying cards every month or 3 months, and it is less than $0.10 a minute, only about !!!9 cents!!!.
I personally thought that was a pretty good deal.

Hope this helps. :) ]
$19.99 a month is still pretty high, considering you wont get but 50 minutes. Doesn't seem to be worth the money. A good plan from US Cellular is the pre-paid ones. The lowest starting at $29.95, which is only $9.95 more than the one your wanting. You get 200 daytime and 1,000 night and weekend minutes on that plan.

You can get good pre-pay plans from all cellular phone companies. The T-mobile sounds good, but I will be honest, I didn't have much luck with that company. The signal was good at first, but got worse and worse until I had to hold my tounge right to get a signal.
The downfall is you will have to talk your parents into buying the actual phone. I went to Cingular to get a go-phone, and the phones themselves start at something like $89.99 and only go up from there. There may be cheaper companies than that, but I'm not sure.
Another pre-pay is a Trac Phone. You can get their cheapest phone for less than $20 at Wal-Mart, but the phone cards can be costly at around 50 cents per minute.
In my opinion, your best bet would be to go with pre-pay, because 50 minutes isn't much and it is so easy to go over that amount in a month's time. And those minutes are costly when they add up. (I remember being 13 and on the phone) ]
It sounds like a very good plan for a 13 year old.
Another plan your parents might want to look at would be Cingular's go phone plan. It's pre paid, which means, you do'nt have a monthly bill, but when your cell phone minutes run out, you buy new ones ((15 or 25, each with the minutes costing 15 or 25 dollars)) ]
