Well, today i got a cool new phone and I have activated it and blah. But do i need signal inorder to recieve messages? I have a Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go plan. It is really cool. But I don't know hy it is take the ppl so long to send a text message saying that it is okay to use and blah. lol. please advise me! :-D (link)

Got the same exact problem like yous before but now I was able to solved it. Thanks to sim only deal that I got from http://www.thesim.co.uk/ all my problems had gone and I'm now enjoying it.

I just got a Virgin Mobile phone for my b/day.. Thing is, I've already spent $70 on it in phone cards.. And I've had it for a month. I REALLY need minutes on the phone, because I ran out a week or two ago. Thing is, I'm flat broke & my mom isn't willing to buy me a phone card. Any ideas on how to make money? okay i have a verizon cell phone and i have a year and a half left of the plan. i wanna get rid of it and get a new cell phone (cingular or t-mobile) but it costs $179 to cancel the verizon plan. should i cancel my plan, or should i just wait until my plan ends to get a new cell phone? (link)

i wrote a question earlier about my verizon phone and how i wanna cancel it (it costs $179). but what company should i get for my new phone if i cancel my plan? the only differences between them is t-mobile is $10 less but doesn't have a phone that i really like. cingular does but its $10 more. which phone should i get? Im 16 and ive got a job...3 days a week...4 hours a day at 6.50 per hour, except my 8 hour saturdays. I have a cell phone now but its anchient and it sucks. Ive been shopping around for good deals on plans, im not willing to pay more than $35 before taxes. Im liking T-Mobile so far but do they have good coverage? And if any of you have that Verizon INpulse thing how is that? If you know any others that are good let me know! (link)

i just bought a new side kick 2 from t-mobile today, and i have a plan and everything through them. but i know there is an unlock code i can use with my imei number so i can use my SIM card from at&t wireless also! please help me. i am pulling an allnighter (link)

ok im looking for a new phone. i prefer a plan but prepaid i guess works too. if its a plan i want it $20 or less a month and if its prepaid less than 25 cents per min ( not like one of those that you have to talk for 10 min before its less that that). also i would really like one that either comes with a flip phone or its less that $100 for one.

My mobile phone is being really stupid, taking days to recieve messages and if I send a message it'll be at least an hour before the relevant person gets it. It is about 4 years old now so I'm assuming it's just that it's old, but could there be any other reason why it's doing thing? Everything else is working fine on it atm. (link)

i have a good picture i want to send via email so i can have it on my computer. heres the problem, after i click send i get a message on the phone saying "set account information".

Hi,
My name is Todd, and I am a 15 year old with quite a few friends. Almost all of my friends have cell phones with Cingular, Verizon, or some other monthly plan. Mine is a Virgin Mobile with a stupid 10c/minute and 10c to connect deal.
I found out that I put my Top-Up card for $20 in my pants and accidentally washed them.
I talked to my parents about getting me a monthly plan for me. They said they don't want to pay a lot every month for my cell phone plan, and they can't get me a cell phone with their plan since the plan is controlled by a member of my family who we don't really like. Don't ask me why my mom and dad continue to use that plan.
I'm trying to find a monthly phone plan that is cheap ($20 or less) and that would be affordable by almost any middle-class American family.
If you have any suggestions, please tell me.

sorry, i didnt really know what to put this under.
right now i have a sprint pcs phone. the contract expires december 23rd and then my mom is going to change over to tmobile. i don't really adore the tmobile phones except for the razor phone. but, people say that the razor phone isn't a good phone because it's always breaking, etc. i really want a flip phone with a camera and i want it to be able to play "real" ringtones. so i have two questions, is the razor phone really as bad as people say? and if you have tmobile, which phone would you recommend me to get? thanks! I'm interested in getting a pay as you go type deal on a cell phone but I want to get something I know I won't be screwed over on. Ok I have a T-Mobile phone and I was wondering does anyone know if I can find out how many minutes I have used up on my phone. I share minutes with my mom and I don`t know if you can just find out how many minutes one phone line has used? I know there`s a website but I couldn`t figure it out. And I know you can text them but yeahh I forgot all about how to that, lol. Please help ; thanks a bunch. (link)

okay so i want to get a new phone plan so i was wondering if anyone had what im looking for and could tell me about their plan and what not. here are the following things i want:
~ a flip phone for under $100
~ A plan that is less than $30 a month
~ atleast 200 min a month
~ either a good texting plan (like 300 for $5) or free in texting (virizon only)
~ free in calling (for virizon only plans)
~ no funny charges and overal good rating
i would just go to the phone company i know but they are always a pain and im tired of what i have now (virgin mobile) (link)

OK so I just bought a Nextel i560 phone (I love it by the way!) but If you buy ringtones from Nextel online or most anywhere else you only get like the first 2-3 secs of the song- and it repeats over and over and over if you can't answer right away... ok so my main question is does anyone know where I can find full length ringtones or atleast longer than normal ones- maybe a whole chorus or verse or something would be really nice... I found one place that said they had them but they just supported cingular and t mobile... Hope someone can help me out- Thanks! (link)

I was wondering which plans are better verizon or T-mobile. I am either going to get the min. plan for either complany or me and my sister are going to have a family plan together with still the min. plan.
Everything at Verizon is basically $10 more for the same plan than T-mobile, but i have more friends that have verizon (so free incall or whatever)
