I THINK theres a way of getting out of your contract without paying. Try calling up and talking to the customer service people, then ask for a manager and say how unhappy you are and would like to cancel the plan without paying, because it's not fair that you don't like their plan and service. Try it, it's worked with a lot of people I know! Good luck. [BTW- Cingular is a better company] HOPE I'VE HELPED! ♥

I would definatley wait it out just because $179 is a whole lot of money. And anyway, in a year and a half..they'll probably have cooler phones to choose from. Its your choice but personally I'd hate to pay $179!

I would wait because the money you save by staying on the plan until it ends will help you buy that new phone. So stay on and save your money. Hope I helped please rate.

I have a Verizon phone plan and phone and it's service sucks and my plan ends in late August. I wish I have never had gotten this plan but if you cancel your plan now, you are just going to lose your money. I would just wait it out like I am because I have been waiting for about a year, and once your plan ends, then you can get a new phone and a plan. A year and a half will go by fast, trust me.
