my playstation wont ever work.my games arent scratched. say i get it to work and then i restart or turn it off it doesnt work help me

It seems as though that if you use them a lot to play games or DVDs on, they just burn up after time. I think it has something to do with the eye that reads the disk has gotten too hot. I don't know if that is your problem, but you can take it in to get it fixed or you can go to places like Electronics Boutique and buy refurbished systems. XkittyOkatX answered Saturday August 12 2006, 2:48 pm: My dad had this same problem. YOur playstation is most likely wearing out, and you may need a new one. There could be a scratch inside the cd drive, too.
Try taking it to your local eb games, or game boutique.
