i always curl them first..but to make them actually curled, make sure the curler is hot.. put it against the heater in the car or a hairdryer. curl your eyelash and then use mascara..sometimes ill curl, put mascara on, then curl again..hope i helped! rate high@ (: rachel

ok sorry but i disagree with those who said curl first haha

ok i know all the pros say curl before, mascara after....but seriously if you make sure your lashes are really dry (after mascara) i would curl after you do your mascara

personally...i think curling before is stupid...yes your lashes with rip out IF THEY'RE STILL WET. people think my lashes are fake because i curl them so much (with mascara on) and it opens up your eyes alot...

i would curl AFTER heck, do it before TOO if you want. all im saying is i curl after and my eyes look perfect.

heres a good tip:
instead of spending money on a lame heated eyelash curler (they suck)
get a regular metal curler and heat it up with your blowdryer for like 5seconds (make sure its not too hot so you dont burn yourself)
it works great and your lashes stay curled all day ....

....(i also do this AFTER mascara... i dont think it would work so great if you did it before)
i have the best lashes around :) hope i helped ya

Well , you`re supposed to curl your eyelashes first .. before you put the mascara on. But i think either way it looks good. (=

You use the eyelash curler, then the mascara. Cause if you do it the other way, you'll probably ruin the eye curler cause you'll get mascara all over it and also the mascara on your lashes'll probably mess up. I hope I helped. <3

TRUST ME! You want to use the curler first followed by mascara. If you want curvier lashes, use mascara with a curling brush.
You should never use a curler after you put on mascara because, not only does it ruin the pad on the curler, but the mascara sticks to the pad causing your lashes to stick. Then you can say "Bye-bye" to thick, full lashes because it pulls your them out by the roots.
I used to put on mascara then curl, and I have very thin eyelashes because of it. Now when I put on mascara, my lashes glob together and look downright stupid. Also, to look like I have full lashes I have to glue on fake ones which is far more trouble than it's worth.

Whichever way you want to do it, you can. I usually put on my mascara first, then I curl my eyelashes with the eyelash curler. ♥

Your supposed to use the eyelash curler then the Mascara.

If you use the mascara then the eyelash curler. The mascara dries then when you go to curl && then release the curler it grabs your eyelashes & rips them from the roots.

hope i helped
