ok this might be a little strange, but when i think of something, it's always a color... i have colors for names, the time, days of the week, letters, up/down, brands, seasons, states, and even north/south/east/west. a lot more things too.. i don't obsess over them, but i think about them often. im just wondering what it all means? is this abnormal?
captainL answered Monday August 14 2006, 12:18 pm: There's nothing wrong with that. It's just your own personal way of remembering things - you just happen to use colors. Don't worry about it. You're fine. [ captainL's advice column | Ask captainL A Question ]
Brandi_S answered Sunday August 13 2006, 3:53 pm: I wouldn't by any means say it is abnormal. I would say that it is just a way you have taught yourself to remember things, keep track of things, organize things, etc. I, personally, use word association to remember names and places, etc. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
uisforukelele answered Saturday August 12 2006, 2:40 pm: have you ever heard of synaesthesia? it's when you associate colors with certain things... i read a book about a girl that had colors for sounds. it's not abnormal, and many people have it (i'm not saying you do, i'm just bringing it up if you think you have it). here's a link to more info: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) [ uisforukelele's advice column | Ask uisforukelele A Question ]
