THE ROPE!!!
Is there really a difficult rope awaiting inside every high school gym? i am horrified of "the rope" I COULD NEVER CLIMB THAT THING!!!

So, you are horrified of "the rope". Girl/Boy, your're not alone. First thing is, climb the rope by yourself when no one's in the gym if you can. Keep on trying, each day, and you might get better and better. There's not a rope in EVERY high school. My high school doesn't. All you need to do is overcome your fear. Sorry if this answer is late. Lol I hate climbing up that stupid thing just as much as the next person but my high school doesn't have one and I'm pretty sure none of them do, but if they do then they won't force you up it, they can't make you it's your decision. No one can force you to do something you don't want to do. My elementary school had one, but I'm pretty sure that your high school won't. They might have a rock climbing wall, but it's optional. Basically the teachers are nice and don't pressure you into anything. I wouldn't worry, high school's meant to be fun (even though gym seriously sucks).
P.S: The only people that can actually climb up the wall, are guys who are jocks, a lot of girls have a hard time up it (or don't even make it at all), but like I said just about every high school doesn't have a rope.

I can't climb it either, so don't feel too bad. Infact my high school doesn't even have one. We had one at our middle school but even then you weren't forced to climb it.

I wouldn't be able to climb that thing, either. It looks way hard and I'm way too weak ;]. There wasn't a rope in my highschool gym. I think that's mostly just in movies. I don't think there will be a rope at your gym, so don't worry about it. ♥

Pretty sure there isnt i have been to three different high school & none of them had a rope. I know my sisters middle school has one. But in high school they test your streght with different exercises & test.

Nope haha. I think that's only in movies now. We had one at my elementary school and only used it once for fun. But we didn't have it in my middle school or high school. I haven't heard of any high schools having them anymore.

Sorry, kid. I guess I could have grabbed a phone book and called every high school in the country to ask them if they had a rope, but that would be ridiculous of you to ask of me or anyone.
